I wanted to write a quick review on Boomer Jacks in Grapevine. This has become a regular hang out for us. This place can get really busy on game days but it is usually easy to find a seat, they should add a host stand out on the patio to avoid confusion for open tables on game days. They have a good food menu and everything we have ordered is very good. The actual food service is very is quick. They also have daily drink specials and he beer is always cold. The best part of Boomer Jacks is the bartender service. These are some of the best bartenders in the Dallas area. When you have Daisy, Tesla, Kat, Glenn, or Hanna behind the bar you will get excellent service, each one of them is attentive and friendly. It is also nice to see them stand up to rude customers. Some customers just don't have any manners! The service is so good at Boomer Jacks you see staff and bartenders from all the other restaurants and bars in Grapevine stopping in.........that says it all. Never again! I went to this bar/grill with my daughters to celebrate a promotion. It was my first time there and I'd heard the drinks were good. As it turns out, the drinks are great but the the service and food are subpar. I suppose if you look at it for what it is, the food is okay. No one expects terrific food at a bar. Anyway, I had ordered a couple drinks that came with an orange slice and a cherry. However, when the third one arrived it was sans the cherry and orange. I asked the server(not our server, she just brought the drink) where the garnishments were (this was my favorite part of the drink, LOL) and she she responded by saying "I'm tired" and walked off. I was floored by her response and then asked for the manager. A guy named Bobby came to the table and identified himself as the manager. When I explained to him what happened, he responded by saying " I am trying not to laugh because of course it isn't funny and that should have never happened", but the entire time he had a smirk on his face. He told me that he would talk to the server and a few minutes later, I look over and he is with our server laughing about it. Our server had been borderline rude the entire time and we felt rushed, but after the conversation with Bobby, she just started throwing everything on the table and rushed us until we asked for the check. We arrived a little after 8pm on Friday and the others had been there for a while, so we just ordered a few drinks & played catch-up with everyone. Since we were moving on to another spot, there was no need to order food. The drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was good....the place was packed on a Friday and considering it had been raining. The service sucked tho, it took forever for our waitress to come back and she would walk by the table but not asked if anyone needed anything. Just ordered my meal from this location and Justin the store manager has decided to hang up on me 6 times after getting an order rectified. The steak was cooked medium well instead of medium rare and the fries cooked thin instead of thick cut fries. Using the "you'll have to contact door dash" excuse and putting the blame on the 3rd party company James decided to continually hang up after 7 repeated phone calls to avoid conflict. I was extremely disappointed by my experience. I've given this place 3 tries and the service hasn't changed. I was cut off by our waitress Andrea because my eyes were 'puffy'. I had a horrible night and was crying all day due to a family tragedy. I have dealt with subpar service in the past, but this was so exceptionally poor that I felt the need to write this review. I called the manager over hoping he would see and understand, and he obnoxiously shined a flashlight in my eyes before deciding to cite some vague "TABC" rules that didn't apply to my situation (I'm a server and am well acquainted with TABC protocol. This place has a great atmosphere! The service at the bar was okay. They seemed to be really concerned with cleaning rather than serving customers. The biggest turn off was the jukebox situation. Apparently every night someone pays a lot of money and plays all Tejano type music. I like this music, but after HOURS of it I'd definitely like a mix of something else. I even put money into the jukebox to change it up but it never played. I tried to talk to the manager about it, but they didn't care. I doubt we will come again. read more

Had a horrible experience at BoomerJacks tonight! Jamie, bartender at the main bar, ignored us for over 10 minutes. The barback cleaned in front of, was very friendly and apologized for the mess. Made eye contact with Jamie but she NEVER greeted us. Got Layces attention and she took our order but it was clear she was working the other end of the bar. Jamie talked to everyone next to us on both sides and across from us but continued to overlook us during our an stay at the bar (about an hour). I left a great tip as I am a bartender as well. My favorite thing was the Chicken fried steak advertised as Waygu beef and until today not doubt it was. I was visiting from out of town, but I really liked this bar. I didn't order any food, but I was impressed by the ambiance. The TV's are everywhere. You can sit inside, outside, heater, cold, whatever suits your fancy. The drinks were really cheap in my opinion. Service was smiley at the bar, not so much from my server, but she still brought drinks timely and check on me often, so no complaints. The inside 1,000 inch TV (I'm exaggerating, but it's massive) was quite impressive. I told the friends I was with I wish they had one of these near my house. I went to the boomerjacks in grapevine last night as a quick outing near my home with my family. When we entered the restaurant the young man seating us attempted to sit us directly behind a party of four that I could plainly see was less than 3 feet from our table and I had to suggest to him that we needed to sit at another table in the middle of the room in order to safely social distance my family from others. Second, when the waitress approached our table she wasnt wearing a mask AT ALL and was talking over the food and drinks as well as very close to our faces. When the waitress left the table I looked around and there was not ONE manager, bartender, waitress or staff member wearing a mask. As I was looking around in, TOTAL SHOCK, I noticed a floor manager at a pay station spitting snuff out of his mouth and into an open trash can about 10 feet from our table. I WAS SHOCKED AND APPALLED. I instructed my family to hurry and finish the food that was on the table so we could leave the resturant. DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT THEY ARE NOT PRACTICING SAFE OPERATING PROCEDURES DUE TO THE PANDEMIC and their behavior was unsanitary and unprofessional. If a general manager is reading this please take my advice and replay your surveillance cameras back to 9pm and you will see exactly what transpired. I tried out this new restaurant in Grapevine tonight, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. I placed an order for take out, when I arrived at the bar to pick up my order the bar tender was rude and unprofessional, she ignored me for over 5 minutes. This place is huge - lots of large TVs to watch sports. Service was good, food was hit and miss. I had the Turkey sandwich​ on the pretzel bun. I was hoping for a "Turkey O'Toole" like Bennigans used to have, but the amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich was less than I would have hoped for. The Southwest Egg Rolls were good. The Burger was a bit dry and the boneless wings lacked a good coating of sauce. All seemed to be a little less than good. Small changes could make a big impact on our meals. read more
