Honestly, I'm really surprised that the ratings are so low. I was hesitant to visit because of that, but I'm glad we decided to come anyway! This place is fun. It's small, but has everything a kid or adult would want to play on. Bumper boats, games like at Dave & Busters, go karts, laser tag, rock climbing wall, mini golf. I recommend purchasing tickets online on your phone and then showing them the email to get a lot more bonus tickets rather than buying at the door. They also offer unlimited rides on the attractions for military at a great discount. The place is dark, but felt clean and the staff was friendly. We've been here before and had a fine time. Everything is a bit dated, but still fun- laser tag, bumper boats and cars, go-carts. Our son was super excited to go back. We bought a day pass in advance as we'd done in the past, and scheduled in to arrive at opening, 12pm, planning to spend 2 hrs. We arrive to discover that, despite being "open" at 12pm, they aren't opening 80% of the attractions that our day pass offers access to until 2pm! SO, no laser tag, bumper cars, bumper boats or the go-carts my son can actually ride. Just adult go-carts and mini-golf, neither of which he had been interested in. I asked the counter person why those rides weren't being opened until 2pm. He told us that it tends to not get really busy until 2, so management doesnt want to staff the place fully until then. In essence, then, they are selling tickets to an experience that does not exist, to save money. No advance notice. They could easily post that policy on their website, or let folks know when they purchase. But they don't. That feels like fraud to me. On top of the money spent on the day passes which are essentially useless, we spent money on arcades instead. So we got to spend more money for the privilege of not getting what we paid for and having a disappointed child. Fail, Boomers! More like "Boomers?" read more

I have read a lot of negative reviews on Yelp about Boomers. Mine is completely opposite! I took my Grandchildren there today and paid for the unlimited 4 hours pass for Lazer tag, bumper cars etc: I happen to live in Delray and it completely slipped my mind it was a holiday weekend and there were tons of kids in from out of town.. We had to wait in line for a long time wherever we went. Finally my friend thought to call a manager and Brooke came out and WITHOUT A MOMENTS HESISTATION, gave us the full pass to come back again with no questions or aggravation AT ALL. This used to be my favorite place when I was a kid when there were tokens we came back 3 years ago and they switched too electric cards and they told us our points never expire so we spent 100$ and we spent 40$ and we won 3 jackpots we had at least 3000 tickets and they told us to save we came back today no points on our card and we only have 700 tickets and our card is expired!!!!!! they told us they never expire ??? I would not recommend coming here they have much better arcades in Florida I hope they reemberse is someday we came every year every day for a week straight sometimes 2 weeks and we'd spend a ton of money so they lost out read more

My kids love this place!! I love taking my kids to boomers. It is the perfect family place and the best place just to let your kids loose and let them run wild. THere are so many video games for them to choose from that they will spend hours entertaining themselves. The wall climbing off course is fun and is good for everyone. Even I tried it. The go carting track is nice as well. THe track is somewhat basic and for what you pay it may not be that worth it, but its something cool to do for 15 minutes. If you have kids and you need to entertain them, there's probably no better place than Boomers. read more

I can't believe I am giving this place 2 stars. It used to be fun but my has this place fallen. Most of the video games in the Arcade did not work. If they did, a lot did not put the points you won on the card. When I went up to the counter and asked for my money back Brooke the manager told me I was speaking to her too loud and needed my receipt....for the card we purchased not 45 min before. I explained that I am partially deaf and speak loudly as it is hard to hear my own voice. After apologizing for my disability she went on to tell me that if I continued she would call security and she was sorry I felt that way. I am sorry for feeling deaf too I guess.... After we found the receipt she did refund the money but I do not feel like anyone should be treated in such a poor manner. Will never return. The two stars I gave is for a pretty good mini golf course. Delray is much much better though and their manager does not make fun of deaf people like the manager here named Brooke. read more

Plan a whole afternoon for our 9yr old son before Christmas dinner at Boomers. Build it up for two days... I think he is as excited about boomers as Santa. Came in on New Years Eve for a birthday. The crowd wasn't too bad. My daughter is 7 so the tickets are a big deal to her. She won 1,000 tickets on one of the wheels. She had already collected about one hundred more in other games. When she redeemed her tickets, the ticket counter only gave her credit for 687. Not sure which machine was at fault. So I went to the front and stood in line, which was about 10 people long, so that I could speak to the manager about it. When I reached the front, the manager told me he couldn't do anything about it because he was the only cashier. I asked him if he could ask someone for help and he said no. He said I should find someone else. All I heard was find someone who cares. So I walked around and found a young guy that was adding tickets to a machine. I told him the problem. He said he could only give me 200 tickets because he wasn't present when the error happened. Now, I can't imagine why an employee would ever be present when a machine goes wrong but okay, I guess. I took pictures of her win and I showed him but that made no difference. Otherwise, the place is fun. But their pettiness over tickets to be redeemed for toys purchased at oriental trading is ridiculous. I'll just take my business elsewhere. Cheapskates! read more

Wow this place has really been re-done! I haven't been here in a few years but we took my son and some friends here for his birthday. They now have a bar which makes it easier on adults;). We bought a pass for 50 bucks which includes bumper cars, bumper boats, go carts, rock wall, laser tag, and mini golf for the rest of 2017! If it weren't for this pass I would be writing to complain about how expensive this place is!! Facility & restrooms are cleaned & somewhat maintained. We were interested in miniature golf for people. Front desk cashier informed cost amount for points; charged our credit card & provided a play card with purchased points; but NEVER asked if we have ever been to Boomers; NEVER explained the points system; NEVER directed us where to go for miniature golf. Granted, we did not disclosed that we have never been to Boomers; did not ask cashier how point system works; did not ask where to go for miniature golf; but it would have been a good guest service experience for cashier to ask if patrons have visited for first time; explain about points systems & play cards; show where different facilities (golf, race cars, batting cage) are located. There was no one waiting in line behind us. Cashier could have been more welcoming & hospitable. There are operable play card deals available near the front entrance. Play card deals near miniature golf are inoperable which should be posted OUT OF SERVICE on it. When we finally located miniature golf, there was a large sign that golf is closed. There was NO attendant @ golf booth. We asked a female employee @ the restaurant area who said that golf is closed & that front desk cashier should have informed us that golf is closed. We returned to the front desk & spoke with the same cashier about the miniature golf begin closed. She merely said, "it should been opened by now". For good guest service, there should a sign @ front desk & @ golf booth that miniature golf is closed @ 6pm-6:30pm; employees should have radios to communicate with engineers/technicians instead of making patrons, friends & families walk through the entire facility for such none sense. When we returned to miniature golf, there was Haitian woman @ golf booth who did NOT greet us. We said that we wanted to golf. Employee merely said, "it costs money". We were confused & asked, "what?". Employee said, "I already told you that it costs money". We finally showed our play card to her. @ which point, employee pointed to play card swipe. It was a struggle to finally play golf & we feel rushed by families & children waiting behind us. There should be more dance games & pin ball machines. read more

I remember coming here when I was a teenager. Now that I'm in my 30's and back with kids, the place is mostly the same except it's configured a little different. They certainly hike up the prices to take advantage of tourists and Boca. $12 for a dilapidated mini golf course that hasn't been updated in 17 years...bargain! I remember when all the water features worked and it wasn't filled with sad patch jobs. I guess that's what happens when a big entertainment company takes them over. We had our autistic grandsons 11th birthday party here and it was FANTASTIC! They allow you to book ahead of time over the phone with different package deals for each birthday. Our party host was great, making sure all the drinks were filled and the food arrived on time. The kids had a fantastic time playing laser tag, go karting, eating pizza and dipin dots. Most of the kids in attendance were also autistic so it was a great time for them as well. One thing that stood out to me was the supervisor Hector was helping out with any issues we had with anything that occurred during our stay. This place was really bad!!!! The manager was not helpful. Customer service is not a priority. Black Friday special was apparently only if tickets bought online though it doesn't specify and you have to print it out which is totally ridiculous. The bumper boats never work, the golf course has holes that are not the real hole just uncovered drains. Place is bad. Don't care about whether people are happy or satisfied. Went here on a Saturday. It met our expectations of a middle-of-the-road local arcade. The arcade area is not huge, but offers quite a variety of games and clean for the most part. There is a bar for adults as well as a rock wall to climb, go carts, mini golf, and more. First of all, one of the mini golf courses was disgusting. Some places were covered in mold and everything just seemed very soggy. They had a large variety of games and outside activities. The vending machines were $3 a bottle! For water! The employees I'd say we're 9.5 out of 10. The lady at the register was offering promotions and the people at the go carts were very friendly. Yes it is over priced so we get the 3 month pass for $50 for the unlimited use of attractions and non tickets games. It does suck that we can't play the fun arcade games. They should let you play but just not give you tickets. I have not had anything from the concession. The place is usually clean and a bit warm due to the number or bodies in the room. For a pass it's great. To visit for a single day you'll likely spend $80-$100 per person between food attractions and games. read more

We have gone multiple times, and it has made for a fun afternoon. You can pay extra for arcade games and win tickets for prizes (like Chuck E Cheese). It is very dead and many of the arcades seem to stop working. They are very stingy with tickets. The lasertag is the best part about the place. The Go-Karts aren't fun at all and my brother and I got kicked off the track for swerving without a warning (no contact was made) and they didn't refund us or care to hear our side of the story. Went to Boomers today it is a filthy, overpriced pit. Out family will not be back. It is poorly managed, and for the attractions very expensive, it is not Disney and should reconsider their pricing. A mop ad some cleaning supplies would go a long way in this place, I couldn't believe people were eating food here. The staff was rude and short with not only our kids but most they came in contact with. I used hand sanitizer from our car after I washed my hands in the bathrooms, papers not filled. In talking to my wife the women's bathroom had 2 hand dryers that didn't work and ironically the men's had the same issue. Along with multiple dispensers without paper. The pond for bumper boats was filthy it was not a pool more like a dirty pond and most of the facility is mismanaged. We went to chuckie-cheese in Kendall last week, maybe the staff @ doomers could learn something from them, clean facility, well maintained and a great staff. This place is a joke. We had the best time at Boomers in Boca Raton recently!! If you're looking for a place to go, this is a great choice. They have several different things to do (not just video games like so many other places). Of course the kids love those, but we ALL had a blast on the racetrack (they won) and playing miniature golf (I won). The rock wall was a challenge for them, but they really enjoyed those bumper cars!! I was glad to stop for a bit so I could sit with a cool drink and we could have a bite to eat - the kids liked the pizza. I was pleased with the entire experience. I was impressed with the courtesy of the staff whenever we approached them for help or with a question. The restrooms were clean (as a mom, that's important to me), the food was good, the rides and games were varied and interesting. We'll definitely go back - maybe next time in the evening for an "adults only" date night. LOL read more
