The screens are all custom made to fit your exact specifications, swing/hinge preferences, color, etc. and like many things in life, quality can sometimes take time. Once installed (by Deshon who was professional and on time), the window is darker, but as my photos show, you can still see light and the outside just as well. And also, you get what you pay for. These screens are not without a significant cost that I myself see as an investment in our longterm occupation of our home. But for that cost, I cannot say this enough, they look great, the quality is top notch and I am so pleased. So although I needed to solve a golf ball situation, the security I now feel of having these screens is so comforting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I must say we didn't have such a great experience with the sale person we dealt with at Boss security, we felt she was pushy and fake, and her only concerned was about money and if we were going to be writing a check or cash for the down payment[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. During our conversations with the representative she repeatedly stated, "If we didn't make a decision, within a few days from the time we received the estimate the quote would increase due to the tarrifs and we needed to make decision quickly, because the metal was going to increase at 22 % or more after April 1 2025, if I didn't lock in the price with the down payment. I later found out that the representative statement was untrue and none of the other security screen companies we had received estimates from confirmed the increase in metal to be the case. As a result, we decided to move forward with another company due to the representative aggressiveness, dishonesty, bad attitude and unprofessionalism. read more

Their products are very pricey, and there is no question about the quality of the screen door and window screens (5 stars for quality for sure). However the customer service from the main office is questionable. The installation crew is great, friendly and efficient. The main issue and why I gave them 2 Stars is it took Boss Security Screens 9 months from time of purchase, to make and finally install the correct screen door, and 4 months from time of purchase to install my kitchen window screen. We made many, many calls to their main office and the owner. The excuse was that they only had one employee that actually made the doors. I checked with the family that gave me the company name that did there doors and window security screens and it took Boss security screens only 4 months to do approximately 2 doors and 5 windows. I am not sure what problems they are having, but we were not quoted 9 months and 4 months for one door and one window. I didn't go with Boss Security Screens & I went with a different company, so this review is for my interaction with Boss Security Screens (BSS). I requested a free estimate from BSS, Nick came out and gave me an estimate. He offered to give me some discount by taking most of the labor cost off. A few months later, I reached out to BSS again. Their office contacted me & then I got in contact with Nick again via text messages. When I mentioned about getting an estimate with Guardian Security Screens, Nick offered to beat their estimate. However, Nick couldn't match the estimate from Guardian Security Screens and he badmouthed about & tried to discredited Guardian Security Screens. This was really distasteful & unprofessional. Nick even claimed that BSS is the ONLY security screen company that offers LIFETIME No Break-in Guarantee. This is NOT true! Security Plus offers the same guarantee. BSS is heavy on advertisements; therefore, their price is the highest even after discount on labor. Additionally, even after I advised BSS that I decided to go with a different company, they continued to email, call and sent text messages. This was quite annoying! Before you go with Boss Security Screens, make sure you reach out to Security Plus and Guardian Security Screens for an estimate. Security Plus offers pretty much the same guarantee and product quality PLUS they are much more professional with great customer service. read more
