We've ordered Boundary for delivery a few times and have never been disappointed so we wanted to check it out in person. It exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is fun, staff is friendly, and food is still delicious. The portions are pretty big and the ingredients are good quality. We got two meals out of our entrees. We also ordered the bacon flight which everyone must try! Comes with 8 mouthwatering pieces of thick cut bacon. Since we had dinner we sat in the dining room area but we saw a handful of grouped furniture around the bar so we'll definitely be back with friends to hang out in the bar/lounge area for drinks. read more

Awesome spot! We were a little caught off guard from the road we drove down to get here. It's hidden off the main road. Justin was such a great server! He was funny and attentive. He upped our experience from a 4 to a 5 star! We started with the tower fries which were delicious. Then we had a bit of every part of the menu. The max n cheese was good. The smash burger was a hit (especially if you love a good bread and butter pickle). The iron skillet coffee burger was so interesting (in a good way). You can't taste the coffee so don't let that turn you off from it. The pizza stole the show! It was delicious and doughy. We shared among the whole table and everyone was grabbing for the last slice. So searching for a place to eat.... the Bacon Flight got me! My wife and I came in for dinner last night. Boundary has great ambience and we were sat quickly. We ordered the Baxon flight for an app. Bacon was good... there was a homemade biscuit as well. Biscuit had good flavor but a bit dry. I would have loved some butter or jam with it, but the server didn't come back in time. I ordered the PB & JB Burger and my wife created her own pizza. My burger was goofed properly but all I could taste was the jam. It was a bit too sweet for me. There's wasn't much PB on it. So that was very disappointing. My wife created a bacon pizza with the Bourbon BBQ as her sauce. There wasn't much bacon or cheese on the pizza. It was just ok. I might come back to try the BBQ, and the service was friendly, but the food was just ok. read more

If you are ever traveling through the Pawtucket area you NEED to stop by Boundary. Whether it's early afternoon or late night dinner the ambiance is just perfect. The staff is super sweet and they always acknowledge you upon every visit. The first time my wife and I tasted the food we were shocked!! we literally ended up going the next day and the next weekend! and we live in southern mass about a 40 min drive. worth it! This was my second time in here Friday night (around 7pm) and the bar had a robust crowd, maybe a dozen people. We opted to sit on the highback chairs but were told that there's no service there and we'd have to go to bar to order, which is no big deal, but we'd sat for about 10 minutes before figuring that out for ourselves. Some seats opened up at the bar proper so our party of 3 shifted there. We still waited probably another 7 or 8 minutes before the bartender Phil came over. Got our drink order in and got 2 Espresso Martinis and a draft beer. Bartender definitely seemed overwhelmed and struggling to keep up. He was also making drinks for table service diners too. Seems like (to me) they need two bartenders on hand. I Was going to get a 2nd draft but apparently the keg had kicked so I instead waited for my companions to finish their drinks. I really want to like this place because it's got a cool vibe, decor and layout but when I leave I feel dejected. I also think $10 is a lot for one draft beer. I visited Boundary Brew House for the RI Food Fights burger competition. They have a very large parking lot. Upon entering, you are greeted with upbeat music. Music from different genres played whole I was there. The inside is very dim lighting. It was empty for a Saturday lunch so I sat at the bar. The bar area had all the seating of high tops and a few booths tucked in the corner. Next to the bar is another big room that holds a large projector that was playing something. It was a random room that looked like it was meant for dancing. I ordered the Iron Skillet Coffee Burger. Beef burger, fresh coffee and brown sugar rub, bourbon onions, smoked bacon, skillet fried cheese, over easy egg, and boundary sauce. The burger was juicy and flavorful. It was definitely a messy burger, but a good one. The hand cut fries were nicely crunchy and greasy. They were a win for me. The place is very out of the way for me but if I was in the neighborhood, I would probably stop by again. read more

My wife and I go here all the time. We love the environment very cool decorated restaurant it used to be an old roller skating spot. We usually order the same thing always because it's so good. The smash burger with house cut fries so good. We also order drinks either ciders or sours which I wish they had more of a selection for these kind of drinks but they usually have a couple good ones. I've gotten the chicken before I forget I think it's the honey hot chicken or something like that it was very good it also comes as a sandwich. The sides are great I've gotten the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes both good but the house cut fries with the homemade ketchup . We usually ask for the owner Beth as our serve because she's our favorite we've built a relationship with her. My wife has also ordered the pretzel with beer cheese I believe and she said it was really good. We love this place and will be going here for many years to come. Great place that I have driven by and not stopped at until tonight. Came in for the Best Burger RI Food Fight and walked away a fan. Stopped in with a couple of buddies and we all enjoyed our meals. We started with the Pretzel Bite App at the recommendation of our server. She nailed it. They were warm and tasty with a great cheese sauce and a mustard sauce. They were offering two different burgers for the Food Fight special. The Magellan (on the menu) and the Italian (special for the fight). A buddy and I split them so we could try both of them. The Magellan, (beef, smoked linguica, Cheddar, Bourbon onions and sunny side egg) was great. The bun was lightly Grilled, the meat was juicy and they added a second patty to it! Their special was the Italian, think Italian Sub on top of a burger. Great flavor of the Italian cold cuts mixed with a burger was a great combo. My only suggestion was to put the Italian dressing on top of burger not on the bottom bun because it ended up really soggy. The flavor of the burger and a flip of the bottom to the top made me forget that quickly. I thought the fries were really solid! read more

Stopped in here tonight with my honey, and boy are we glad we did. I haven't been this impressed with a restaurant in a while. The ambiance / décor / vibe is super cool - you can tell that someone with a great eye for design put a lot of work into the 'look' of the place and it paid off. I couldn't stop staring at some of the different lighting features, couch/chair filled lounge areas, and of course the absolutely gigantic screen which was showing Zoolander!! Ok, but the food . . . I got the Bourbon Street steak tips and they were cooked to perfection - excellent flavor & texture. They came with Yukon Gold mashed and the most amazing garlicky green beans. My boyfriend got the brisket plate and wow, my southern gentleman was impressed. He said it's the best brisket he's had here since moving to RI a couple of years ago. All of the items that came on his platter were enjoyable as well. Interestingly, there was no salt or pepper on the tables but, ya know what?, they weren't needed - everything was seasoned to perfection for this Foodie. Service was also fast and friendly - we'll definitely come back to try out brunch!!! One comment . . . both when we arrived and when we left, there was a group of 4-5 men (same guys both times) right outside the main entrance smoking. It was unfortunate that, both times, we had to walk through their smoke to get in and out of the place - and their smoking, being right outside the entrance, did bring a really unpleasant smell into the entire entry way once inside. I would suggest to management to please post a sign outside mandating that people need to smoke 10-15 feet away or something - it was quite off putting. Waitress name was Bethany, friendly, happy, positive person. We had the food fight special burger called the Grinder ( italian) . Hamburger, salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, house made italian dressing. It was juicy cooked medium exactly liked we asked. The fries were skin on and long. We got unseasoned. Great coffee smash burger with phenomenal flavor. The brisket sandwich was the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. It lacked some flavor and smoke flavor seemed more like a additive than a smoke process. There was no smoke ring in the meat. However the atmosphere was great. Very countryesque. I may be showing my age here, but I've been coming to this building since I was a kid when this place was a roller skating rink. So, as you can imagine, this place has changed dramatically over the years. Boundry Brewhouse takes up the front half of this space and it has a country meets industrial feel. In addition to being a neighborhood bar and restaurant, they also host events here like plant nite, corn-hole tournaments, live music, karaoke, and show all the big games on the movie sized screen along the wall. I've eaten here with my family, met my friends for drinks, and had a blast on karaoke night. The pretzels, burgers, and brisket are our favorite things to order off them menu but ask what the specials are that week, because they are always trying out new things to add to the menu. That goes for their drink specials too! Epik Live Events is the banquet space that is nestled behind the bar area, and while the two spaces are separate, they share the same kitchen and serve consistently good food. I've booked this banquet space for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, my work Christmas party, and even had my sons baptism party here. We've had everything from individual plated dinners, to a delicious chose your own pasta bar, and a delicious breakfast buffet. The event coordinator, Bethany, is knowledgeable and accommodating and has delivered absolutely everything we've asked for with precision and professionalism. Pro tip: Looking for a fun night out with friends? Consider going to Boundry Brewhouse, call ahead if you want to reserve the row of tables on their raised platform where you can still be in the middle of everything but have seating that is separate. They usually have a Groupon deal going, check ahead to see if it's something you may be interested in. Boundry can be hard to find the first time you go, because it's set off of Newport Avenue, tucked away from view by the mini shopping plaza set in front of it, just know that you access it from the side street directly before the hill that takes you into Massachusetts and that the parking lot is directly in front of the building. read more

Normally I wouldn't write a review after visiting a place only once because service can greatly vary day to day depending on the luck of the draw -- but the service this instance really bothered me. We visited for the Lord of the Wings promo and thankfully this place had other options aside from BBQ and Buffalo (so disappointing in those instances). This was our last stop for the day and they were understaffed. I get that, plus we weren't starving or in a rush so we didn't mind waiting. The guy behind the bar along with the short haired blonde woman told us no less than 4 times that they were slammed and that it would be a moment before they got to us and there'd be a wait. Honestly whatever. Since this place is a "Brewhouse", we felt that it warranted at least looking at their draft list. They had a lot of options (many local) but confusingly they had numbers crossed out with substitutes at the bottom for the week. Alright they're probably changing out seasons. I asked the female server for recommendations of what would go well with the wings and she recommended the Wormtown Blizzard of '78. I've tried it before and enjoyed it. So why not for $5.75, even though I mentioned to her specifically, it was crossed out clear as day on the menu. She said the handle was still there so whatever she should know the bar better than me! As suspected the beer was NOT AVAILABLE and she took the liberty to replace my order with the FIRST option on the menu (I can tell a lot of thought went into this) Left Hand Pixan. Also one of the most expensive options at $8. Alright I'm not saying that less than $3 is going to break the bank, but the principle is NOT COOL lady! She of course said that if I didn't like it she would replace it. I tasted it and it was acceptable. Nothing I really remember, and didn't enhance the dull wings experience. I'm not a picky person so I kept it since I'm always paranoid about staff retaliation especially with people associated with review websites. (There's probably some truth to that South Park episode...) Anyway they gave us the standard bar popcorn to snack on before putting in our orders. The Verde (spicy green sauce) and the Signature Sweet Orange Sesame wings and the description sounded much more exciting than actuality. Perhaps part of it due to the diminishing returns of all the other wings we gorged earlier in the day. They were not particularly flavorful. There might have been some miscommunication between the lady server and the bartender. He also came up to us to try and collect our Wings vouchers and cash us out even though the female server had already done so moments earlier. We left not long after the live music started. That was probably one of the nicer aspects that the live music wasn't obnoxiously loud even though we sat literally right next to the speaker. Picked up a to-go order or a brisket ate with mac, Cole slaw, and a biscuit. I was in the MOOD for barbeque and my I didn't feel like driving out to my usual spot, and I had a GrubHub discount. I decided to go local and try Boundary. I have grown up around barbeque after my dad owning BBQ restaurants in TX. Unfortunately, this barbeque wasn't it for me. It wasn't bad..: I did finish it, but it wasn't amazing and certainly did not leave me wanting more. Service was quick to prepare the food and bring it out, but I just wasn't blown away... I felt like the food was missing a little love and a lot of seasoning. Not sure if I will try again, and if I do I won't be having the brisket meal. read more

So this is our family's second visit to Boundary's. Our first visit was last fall when we were vacationing in CT, this time we were in Cape Cod and trying to think of a place to stop for dinner on our way back to PA, thankfully we remembered how amazing our meal was during our first visit because we decided to go back! The food was just as delicious as we remembered! We started our meal with onion straws and fried pickles! Both were so good, but I'm warning you if you have a big family like us (7 in our group!) make sure you order 2 orders because they went fast! Everyone loves them! I had a Jessi James burger, which was perfectly juicy, the bacon, crunchy onion straws on top and BBQ Sauce was amazing! Other entrees we ordered were coffee burger, build your own Mac and cheese, southern fried chicken salad and southern fried chicken fritters. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! The French fries were those delicious hand cut fries! So not only was the food on point, but the atmosphere was awesome! Beautifully decorated in what I'd call "rustic chic". And last but not least, the staff! I'm a firm believer that the restaurant staff can make or break your meal. The staff at Boundary was phenomenal, attentive and so nice! We were sat in front of the speakers. They carry 1 imported beer, we never heard of it. So we ordered a Narraganset. They got rid of that beer. It was listed on the menu. I ordered a sweet ice tea. That last sweet ice tea was given to someone at our table. We would have to wait 30 min for the next brew. so I said I would just drink water. Our table was in darkness, we had no light above it, we took out our flashlights on our phones to read the menu. The meal was ok. The ice cream funnel sunday took about 25 minutes to get. When it was finally delivered by another waitress the ice cream was liquid. Needless to say we will not be back. read more

Had the meatloaf it was good and flavorful a little dry which happens as it was probably reheated. We tried the bacon flight app, it was okay. Found 1 we both liked, 1 only I liked, and the other 2 neither of us really liked. (of the 4 flavors) My wife tried the coffee burger and I tried the brisket burger. The fries and burger patties were excellent quality, cooked perfectly. However my wife found her overall burger was just okay, and I found I was searching for flavor in the brisket. In both instances the burger patty itself was the highlight, along with the fries. Service was very good, atmosphere overall good, little dark where we sat, which didn't bother us outside of trying to read the darker part of the menu. Probably wouldn't go back, at least if we did would try completely different options, the potential was there for sure. read more
