They don't do this anymore, but I recall over a decade ago being stuck because the battery was dead, and they had even installed the new battery. Please note, they didn't normally do this service back then and they most certainly do NOT anymore. But thought I would mention it. Again, they do not install batteries nowadays, I think for good reason, legality and stuff like that! Another reviewer was all mad, but it's not right to be entitled. They're not paid mechanics here. Anyhow, I highly recommend this location.

He showed me the two brands and recommended a can of: CRC's "Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner". I cleaned the sensor, and put it back. The "Check Engine" light is off and engine runs smoother! They don't have a whole lot of staff here so if there are more than say ... 3 customers wanting a part "in the back," then you're out of luck. They usually run specials but run out of most items they run specials on because I guess... their specials are pretty good? Parking isn't too bad but getting out of the parking lot you will get mobbed by all these cars coming out of Lucky's and just rushing into the street.

The worker told me I would have to buy another new one because I didn't have my receipt. I told him this thing is so new, the barcode is still on it. Just look up the serial number and you will see my name in the system. He kept lying saying he can't do that without even trying. Instead of falling for that, I drove to the Santa Clara NAPA. Walked in with my bad alternator. They didn't even ask for a receipt. The worker looked up the serial number and confirmed my warranty for replacement. Had I not switched stores, I would have gotten scammed by this new location to buy a second new alternator after the first one was a dud.
