My fiancé and I chose Brad's catering to feed 40+ people for our engagement party. I couldn't of been happier with the professionalism, friendliness, and taste of the food. We order three days earlier from Brad who was more than happy to help me figure out what we needed AND what we didn't need. He didn't try to up sell us and when I was expecting a ridiculous price from a smaller business, I was shocked at how much we were getting for so little. I was nervous about the quality the next few days leading up to the party because of the price, but when my dad picked up the food (with ease) the smell in the car told me my worrying was for nothing. Everything went off without a hitch and everyone LOVED the food and are still raving about it. I just tried Brad's Pit BBQ for the first time to end my son's fascination with the McRib (not really ribs but my son likes them!) I am a rib snob especially since my parents moved to Georgia & I love Fat Matts in Atlanta -- and have eaten the "best" Zagat rated Texas barbeque -- but Brad's St Louis ribs were outstanding --succulent, perfectly seasoned and smoked & easily the best in Colorado. Drove 25 minutes from Lone Tree because this Texan needed some brisket. I had heard great things and I am happy to report it was well worth the drive! The brisket was smokey and flavorful, with just the right amount of fat to keep it moist. The sausage was also delicious and the beans and potato salad were so good. Our 4YO daughter ate it up too! I tried this place for the first time tonight. I went with a three meat combo to get a better idea of what they had. Brisket, pulled pork, spicy sausage. Overall the meats were 5 star worthy but their hot sauce was a bit too sweet for me. I give their idea of Texas toast -1 stars... Just a thick slab of white bread that hasn't seen heat since it was baked the first time... What the heck makes that toast? read more

Great "home cooked" BBQ. Excellent smokey taste on the brisket, pulled pork and chicken. And the pork wings were a revelation! My only regret is they didn't have any ribs the day I dropped by. I spent some time talking to the owner, Brad. He is set up in an ex-gas stations while he sees if he can make a go of the business. He uses hickory and mesquite woods and doctors up his own sauces; I recommend the hot. His meats are served dry and I prefer mine wet so I wish he would sell his sauce by the bottle. Very friendly and he obviously loves to grill. read more

I consider myself a foodie, so when Brad was recommended as a possibility to cater my daughter's graduation party, I was cautious. What amazing food! I got texts that we won the grad party food award, his cards flew off the table and there are already 2 parties being catered by him as a result of ours just one week ago. The St Louis ribs were fantastic as were the beans. Both pulled pork and brisket are delicious. Brad is super friendly and I felt like I was the only customer he had that day. This is definitely the best BBQ I've had in the metro area, probably the best I've had in about 5 years. Brad put together a big to-go order for us for a party (pork, brisket, sides). All of it was great. I'm such a pork fan in general that I didn't even try the brisket until I was eating the leftovers the next day, and it was still moist and delicious. The potato salad is every bit as good as everyone else describes it. Brad was very helpful and accommodating. One note, he's kind of a one-man band, so it can be hard to connect with him. But once you make the connection, he's incredibly easy to work with. I will use him again and again, and I think that after our party, he has a lot of new fans in our neighborhood! read more

The best bbq in Denver.....Make that Colorado! The restaurant isn't classy, but once you taste the food, nothing else matters! Juicy, flavorful meat. The best beans I've ever had and the potatoe salad tastes as good as Mom's (okay, it's better but don't tell Mom). I didn't think I would ever find good bbq around here. If they have pork wings available make sure you try them. They have a little fire to them but they are as tender as cotton candy. They are hard to get as they sell out fast. ENJOY! read more

Great BBQ, best I've had in a long time. The owner is super friendly too. My wife and I had a long conversation with him after we ate. We had the beef brisket and spicy chick, and loved them both. Nice smokey flavor and really juicy. We actually bought a pound of the brisket after we ate, even though we were stuffed. The dining area is nothing fancy, but with food this good, it doesn't matter. So the family wanted BBQ tonight and I didn't want to drive up to the best BBQ in town at Pig N Out in Lakewood. My wife found Brad's online and I first went to the food truck at Coal Mine & Peirce only to learn that they were out of ribs. As I was contemplating packing up my disappointments and heading for home both the gal behind the register and Kellan who was cooking offered to call their other locale at Bowles & Platte Canyon to see if they had ribs. Btw, Kellan didn't have to do that but he did all while filling another customer's order. Great customer service! The other store had ribs and reserved a rack for me. We also enjoyed brisket, pulled pork, cole slaw, beans, and mac & cheese bites. All three sauces were incredible! I tried to find something about our meal that was sub-par but could not. Brad and crew, you have a new regular customer in my family and let me just say, Pig N Out, you better watch out! I still LOVE you but there is another game in town now. read more

Brad's Pit Catering - Exceeding Expectations! Thank you Brad for catering my son's wedding at a park in Littleton in mid June. Brad came, set up and was there to answer any questions our guests had as well as refilling stations that were getting low. The hot food was hot and the cold food cold and everything delicious! We had brisket with a sprinkling of burnt ends which I love, pulled pork tasty & moist, spicy sausage, creamy potato salad, crisp refreshing coleslaw and of course his incredible meaty baked beans....honestly the best beans I've ever had. He also brought 3 different kinds of bread/rolls, pickles, onions, and 3 different BBQ sauces. My favorite was the spicy which was smoky and sweet with just enough kick but not too much that my 3 year old grand daughter could eat it. BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! Brad consistently puts out the best BBQ I have ever tasted. Ribs have perfect smoke rings always and the flavor profile of his rub is great. I will usually pick up a rack of ribs and eat them throughout the weekend because they're MASSIVE. Having lived in the Carolinas for 5 years I became a huge fan of pulled pork and Brad doesn't disappoint here either! But my absolute favorite is the brisket...nice and smokey and the rub allows the full flavor of the meat to come through.
