    Damage on the tire from a technician

    DO NOT GO HERE! Found out that when I had my breaks and rotors needed g replacement 18 months ago one of the pads was installed incorrectly. The rotor was fine but the pad needed to be replaced. Went to brakes plus to get the pads replaced due to not having much time on my hands due to school and work. When I dropped the car off I knew they would charge me for the foreign pads under $300. I dropped my car off then went to study. I got a call from them knowing they would sell me on services the car doesn't need. They said it needed to rotor, it didn't and the service would be 570 . Asked what it would be for the pads with coupon they said 280. I said I'll do the pads. The tone on the rep changed. Became annoyed I didn't fall for their selling me services I didn't need then said the "warranty for the brake pads would be void for not getting the rotor", that it will be ready about an hour after the tech gets off of lunch. The service the one guy gave me, especially after decline services I knew something felt off. About 2 hours later I get the call stating the car was ready went in. They used the cheapest pads they could, this really made me question the work they performed. Talked with a body about the issue and showed them photos I took of the pads needing to be replaced and the rotor. They said rotor was fine and started laughing about the warranty. Then I saw my tire that was completely fine before going in then had issues after them working on the car. Unless you want to pay for parts and services you don't need DO NOT GO HERE. They will make your car worse because you told them no.

    Brakes plus put me and my children's life in danger. Do not take your car here. I was having problems with my car dying, So I took it into brakes plus and had them check the alternator where they confirmed that the alternator was bad, and needed to be replaced. They charged me $1200 for the parts and labor which I think is a little overpriced. However I came to them because of the good reviews they had. They took my car overnight and I picked it up the next day, and took it straight home. The next morning I was driving my 3 year old daughter and my 1 year old son to daycare, and I live up the Buckhorn Canyon, so I have to take some steep mountain roads to get into town. As I was coming down the hill next to Horsetooth reservoir, my power steering went out and my ABS system went out, as well as my accelerator. I was going 45 mph down a steep grade hill and had no steering or proper braking, and I had to pull like hell to get the car to turn around the switchback on the south shore. Luckily, we didn't go off the side of the steep cliff into the reservoir below, and I was able to coast to a full stop on the side of CR 38 E. I called a tow truck and waited with my kids for 1 hr with no heat, since the car was completely dead at this point. My kids had to ride with no car seat in the cab of the tow truck. When we got to brakes plus the took the car and said they would take a look, and later that day the manager Jacob called me and said they had put a defective alternator in my car and will have to order a new one from Texas, which will take about 3 days. I didn't mind the wait, but I did miss work that day because I had to figure out plans to get my children home safely, and missed out on pay. I called the store to ask if they would be willing to give me a partial refund because of the danger the put me and my children in, and for the time I missed off of work. Another manager Dylan said they are not willing to do anything like that for me because the techs had already been paid, and that he was "willing" to install the good alternator free of charge. I told him that nobody should charge me an additional cost anyway because I've already paid for the first alternator. He told me "well, some of our stores can be vindictive and would charge you extra for this, and I'm willing to do it for free." I called their corporate office and explained my situation, to which a lady named Kanisha told me that she apologized and we should definitely be able to give you a refund for the horror you experienced. She said the regional manager Cody would call me that day and get this sorted out. No call from Cody to this day. They put in a good alternator and sent me in my way without an apology. I understand defective parts happen, and the techs couldn't have know it was defective, however I believe a good company that cares about its customers would have put their best foot forward and given me a refund for endangering my life, my children's life, making me miss work, and for my parents time who were willing to take time out of work to drive us places for 3 days. What if it had been snowy or icy, and the same thing happened, I would have went off the road and most likely all 3 of us would have died. This company could not care less about you, and only wants your money. Do not give this place your business, I sure won't ever come back here again. Edit: I have emailed the customer service address that replied to this email, and the other reviews I've left. They don't respond to me and don't care to work to help make this right with me. They only reply "we are sorry, please email us" to give the impression that they actually care about your bad experience.

I was headed out of town and was able to leave my car. They have a key drop box that you can leave your keys. It was extremely easy. I got a text with a link to what work i was authorizing. He had it done with in a day. His quotes came in less than the ones that i did manage to get from others. Also if you are a first time YELP customer there is a 15% off coupon. He sent me a text with a link to tell me what other work my car might need. Some of it I knew from the dealer, a couple of things I did not. But was appreciative of knowing what else he found. I drove my car this morning for the first time post having the work done and the car is driving much better. I would definitely come back in the future.

    I can't tell you how disappointed I am. This is a business I have been soliciting for decades. I…read morerecently brought my truck in for differential fluids. Trying not to be verbose here. So long story long they stripped my front differential plugs. I have all the online paperwork to show this had never been touched. I bought the truck new. I wasn't upset. They told me to go to a proper mechanic as they would have the tools to remedy this. I took it to a mechanic who suggested it was now a repair not a fluid change. They further suggested I go in and ask Valvoline to cover the cost of the repair prior to the fix which made sense to me. No big deal things happen. I went and spoke to the young gentleman who said he was the manager on that day. I explained the situation he suggested that there was no way it was the first time the bolts were removed as differential fluids should be replaced every 15 to 20,000 miles. That is pretty much nonsense. I could not have been nicer and more diplomatic, but I could sense the lack of accountability coming . I said listen this is not a major issue and not worth the aggravation for either one of us. Please talk to the owner. Talk to another manager just do the right thing. We don't need to get into a debate over this. Things happen . The world is an imperfect place. He said we have cameras. I said you have cameras to see what those bolts look like before you worked on it and after he said, yes, I do. I said that's FANTASTIC. That will be the end of this discussion. He suggested he was busy so he didn't have time at the moment. I said no worries. Please just do the right thing. Have somebody call me. He promised he would call but no one ever did and I have given them plenty of time . I reached out via text to remind but no response. I am very protective of small local business. Writing a negative review is not something I take lightly. I don't recall ever being forced to do so. This is an incredibly disappointing and unnecessary situation. I literally saw them with a hammer and a chisel trying to get something done under the truck, but I didn't intervene. I just let them do what they do. I was not upset that they made a mistake. I was upset at the total lack of accountability for something so simple. And being ignored. The manager that was there the day prior when I had my fluid change was fantastic. I wish I had the opportunity to speak to her. I want to take down this review. I hate doing it, but I don't need the stress so I'm leaving it in their court. Now it's a matter of principle, business ethics, and accountability. It's so ridiculous and unnecessary.

As anyone who owns a diesel knows, that's not something you want to see when you're far from home and facing a long drive back. I was stressed and worried about whether we would make it home safely. The team at CBA got us in quickly, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, and patiently explained everything they found. More importantly, they gave me peace of mind by assuring me that my truck was in good shape to make the trip home. That reassurance meant more than they probably realize. What truly stood out was how they treated us as people, not just customers. They provided a shuttle ride for us to a local restaurant while they inspected the truck and then picked us up afterward. When it was all said and done, they didn't charge me a single dime for their time, diagnosis, or assistance. In today's world, it's easy to become cynical, but experiences like this remind me that there are still honest, hardworking, God-fearing people who genuinely care about doing the right thing. The integrity, generosity, and kindness shown by the entire team left a lasting impression on us.     I really wanted to love this place. They were welcoming, kind, and the shop itself is clean and…read moreprofessional. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. I brought my car in for intermittent cooling issues with the A/C. They told me the problem was too much Freon, so they drained it, put the same fluid back in, and added dye "to check for leaks." I was charged $208 for this, and assured that was the issue. But this makes no sense--if there were actually a leak, the fluid would be low, not over full. Adding dye to look for leaks completely contradicts what they claimed the problem was. After picking it up, I drove for about 10 minutes only to realize the exact same problem still existed. I called back to let them know, and was then told that sometimes they "start with charging and checking fluids," but it could actually be a bigger issue and I'd need to bring it back. Why wasn't that explained upfront instead of being told it was fixed? And if there really was a "bigger issue," why didn't they notice it during their so-called test drive? My invoice even shows the exact same mileage for intake and outtake, which tells me the car was never actually driven. They also told me I needed new tie rods. Trusting them, I had those done--almost $1,000. My vehicle was driving just fine with no symptoms, so now I'm questioning whether that repair was even necessary. Based on the A/C still not being repaired at all, I'm seriously questioning their entire diagnosis. On top of that, they changed the oil but then wanted an additional $187 just to check the reason for the check engine light. Thankfully I didn't agree to that, because after driving it home the light went off on its own--just as I suspected, it was only triggered by the oil change being due. All in all, despite the kindness of the staff and the nice facility, I left feeling like it was a total waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend them.
