This place is great! Got to try it during the recent wine walk. I was a vendor right in front of them and they even brought it out to us. Something has changed drastically, and negatively, for Branded Burger in Midlothian. Ordered 3 meals on Saturday; two burgers and some chicken tenders. The cheeseburger is a really good burger. Ingredients are fresh. The meat is juicy and tasty. The home fries are just how I like them! You can purchase the larger drink that comes in the BB cup and bring it back on your next visit for a much lower drink price! The room always seems to be somewhat cold so consider wearing a light jacket if you are cold natured. The seating is somewhat limited with a few booths, a few tables and then a stool/bar area but we have never had a problem finding a seat. A great addition to this small town! read more

The Burger was just ok. A guy with a Beard cooking without a Beard Net. It took 30 minutes to get our food.

We went early on a Sunday receiving our food moments before Church let out and the line backed out the door. I ordered the Smokey Bull Burger and I was not disappointed. Grilled onions with their BBQ sauce was amazing. My wife got the Hollywood Burger and she loved it! We ordered the fried and onion rings. Fries were average not bad but not memorable. The onion rings are hand battered on site and are so fresh. One serving of either is plenty for two. It is a small hole in the wall establishment. They have enough seating for probably about 50 people but can have only 3 people cooking at any given time due to the amount of room at the grill. Wish they would have had more than one register open to help knock out the line. Average wait that day was 10 minutes which for a made fresh to order burger is more than reasonable. read more

Great place to stop and grab a bite off the beaten path. Location is easy to get to and the staff was friendly. Menu options are include a variety of burgers, a few chicken items, and of course ice cream (Blue Bell!). Both burgers we ordered were delicious and filling. As everyone else has said, the burgers are large and filling. The Plain Jane was perfect for my picky daughter but she couldn't even finish half. I had the Shroom Burger. The mushrooms were kind of lost in the rest of the vegetables. Hubby had the Hollywood Burger with really spicy jalapeños. The fries were ok but the onion rings are better. My other daughter had the chicken strips. They were the cheap kind of frozen strips. It would be nice if they put as much work into the strips as they do the burgers. This is my family's favorite burger place. The burgers, fries, onion rings, and chicken sandwiches are terrific. Sometimes their AC acts up, and that's a bummer. And they hire kids there, so they'll run out of tea or forget to make a shake that you ordered, etc. They have beer, milkshakes, and Blue Bell as a bonus. This place used to be fantastic. But the last two times we've come in, the customer service has been awful. Today, the soda machine was distributing flat soda. A blonde headed woman was extremely irritated that I (very politely) asked them to check it. She stomped over, put a little soda in a cup, and said "see the bubbles? That's carbonated"..then stomped off....as if flat soda can't have bubbles. I asked if someone else could check, as I paid for 5 drinks. The young girl I asked, said she hates soda and can't really help me. No refunds. It was at 11:30 in the am, and there were only about 8 other people in the establishment, so they weren't busy. I will not be back. How rude to be supported by a community, but to speak and behave so disrespectfully to the people who pay your bills. read more

I've been hearing about this place for weeks from my parents so we finally all went for President's Day lunch. I do have to say that the restaurant is extremely clean and well-maintained. Hubby and I stopped by today and they didn't disappoint. I called our order in for pick up. I had to stand there for a few minutes and eventually flag someone down to ask about my order. I felt slightly ignored standing at the counter with 6-7 ppl right there cooking in front of me and no one never said anything to me but I let that go when I saw my chicken fried sandwich and fried green beans with ranch. The boneless fried chicken was so HUGE on this sandwich I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to bite it so I had to pinch off a bite. The fried green beans with ranch are to die for! Good Lawd! My hubby had a ribeye burger I think that's the name of it and he LOVED it. The pics does their food no justice. YOU MUST TRY IT. My wife and I decided to try Branded Burger on a Thursday afternoon for dinner. My burger was delicious, and the meat was cooked perfect. My wife enjoyed hers as well. The onion rings were on time. Really enjoyed them. Would have given 5 stars easily, but the restaurant was very smoky that afternoon. Not sure if they was having ventilation problems over the grill,that day or what. It was also 89 degrees inside the restaurant that day. We just happened to be setting right by the thermostat and it was set to 70, so I guess the air conditioner could not keep up with the blistering Texas heat. It was like 108 outside also. There seemed to be enough air movement in the restaurant, that it was comfortable enough, so no big deal. But the smoke was very thick. Either way the food was definitely worth the trip. read more

This place has absolutely let me down more than any other food establishment in my 30 years on this planet. They are lucky that their location is great because if they were any where else in town they would have been out of business long ago. I have more faith in the Cowboys making a super bowl run than I do in Branded burger getting my order out in a timely fashion or making sure that what I ordered is what I actually receive. I will give credit where credit is due. Their burger isn't half bad, but that doesn't make up for the ridiculous wait time, order mistakes, and subpar customer service. I have eaten here maybe 20 times over the years and I literally can only think of 1 or 2 times that I didn't have some sort of issue with my food, wait, or their service. I only take the time to write this review after my last disaster at BB Midlothian. I had to wait 1 hour for a to-go order. After asking the manager what the hold up was, I was given a sassy comeback. After rushing home with my food... guess what? My order was not correct. This is the 3rd time I have told my wife I will absolutely never go back and this time I am sticking to it. I really want to give this place 5 stars. I can't because we placed our order, paid for it, THEN the cashier told me the wait was 30-40 minutes. Long wait for burger joint and probably wouldn't have waited because we had busy afternoon. However, when the burger arrived it was worth the wait. I noticed while waiting there was no ketchup on the table. After my first bite of their Mushroom Burger i knew why. It would be a shame to put ketchup on this burger. Simple done right. The burgers are very filling. It was a little pricey. And the menu was a tad confusing. They listed what came on the burger under the name. Then ask if you want everything on it. If you say yes, they don't mention that they also add lettus, tomato, onion and pickles. On a BBQ burger... It was weird. It's probably the only complaint I have. The meat, bun, and flavors I thought I was originally ordering, tasted really good. And their fried onions rings were amazing. I couldn't get enough. The fries were really good and crispy. I have been in hospital over a week with cancer and wanted a good burger and well done fries. It is hard to find something that sounds good in this condition. My husband requested well done fries at ordering and asked again at pick up to be sure fries were well done. We live twenty minutes from there. My burger was great and fries were barely cooked. The wait was ridiculous, over 40 minutes, and the food barely warm. The onion ring that was touted as hand-cut were shoestring onion rings. Excuses for the wait is that they had a lost of carry-out, funny you could see were the order slips were arranged and they kept putting them before our order. I have managed a steak house before and never had customers wait more than 10 to fifteen minutes for their orders. Bad management on the grill line no concept of setting orders. Really good burger, spectacular onion rings and fries. Rings were lightly battered and not greasy. Fries had great flavor. Neither needed condiments. The decor here has an automotive them, which is nice. Place is clean and customer service was great. We had four orders so one of the waitstaff walked a couple of my trays to the table.
