I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was phenomenal. I came in with three of my girlfriends to have brunch, and one of my friends brought her dog, and our dog was treated like royalty and even got her own dish. It's super chill cool vibes. This is my second time coming here. I really had a taste of everybody's food. It was really good. I enjoyed my huevos Ranchos I would critique and say it only needs to be a little bit spicier lol but that's my personal preference other than that, it was delicious. Everything else was good. The mocha latte was so delicious. I drank it quickly. I almost wanted to order like three more lol The vibe is super chill. I like how everything is dog themed super cool spot for brunch really nice ambience small but they do well with the space. A lot of outdoor eating we ate outside wasn't too bad. Really enjoyed myself and will be coming back more often

Made a stop here on our way to Morro Bay. Owner stopped by to chat, very nice Asian man who says they make all their food in-house. We tried the Cobb salad, French toast, breakfast burrito, and classic plate. My whole party was happy with their dish. Standard, no frills. Would come back.

GETTING HERE: Located in Camarillo off Carmen. It's in the Trader Joe's and CVS shopping center, next door to Spencer Mackenzie's. REVIEW: Cute place with a cute vibe! Lots of doggo decor, which is always a plus for this animal lover. I found myself in need of sustenance and had Braxton's bookmarked for a good while. Finally made it inside! Ordering was a breeze, and the service was awesome, friendly, and sincere. (My only caveat is they had the music PUMPING on our visit, and it was hard to hear my guests. :( We both ordered the Club and it was fantastic! I love Clubs when they are made so tall that you have to descontruct the sandwich to eat it. That's the only way a Club should be prepared, IMHO. :) The sodas were tasty, and we enjoyed the open seating area (we opted to eat inside, although there is plenty of outside seating as well). In reading the other reviews, I know I am due to return to try their other breakfast items. I definitely recommend Braxton's. Thank you!

Dog friendly but not a ton of shade around noon

Apparently it's their soft opening so I have plenty of notes to share but I don't want to dock stars because I don't want a small business to fail because they might not have all their ducks in a row yet! Suggested improvements/updates; - Add more shaded seating- either put up more umbrellas or move the outdoor tables against the building itself for more shade - Update your menu to be accurate, your poor server had to correct so many things verbally that no longer come as part of a meal - Communicate to your servers what you're 86ing for the day or week

I thought the food was great. Excellent service, good flavor, nice advice, pleasant environment, and the food comes fast. Such a wonderful option. Made waiting for my car easy. Tasty vegetarian options. I recommend coming here.

My sister and I stopped by Braxton's Kitchen for brunch, and overall, it was a solid experience! The dog-friendly vibe was a huge plus since I brought my little old chihuahua along. She got to enjoy the Braxton & Friend's Special (small), which was such a cute touch for a pet-friendly spot. We shared a few dishes: 1.) Breakfast Burrito - Hands down my favorite. 2.) California Omelette - Alright; nothing crazy. 3.) Spicy Chimichurri Steak Sandwich - Honestly, I wasn't a fan. The steak was way too tough, which made it hard to enjoy. 4.) California Premium Burger with fries - Pretty good! Classic and done right. For drinks, we had mimosas (because brunch, duh) and tried two smoothies: 1.) Maui Madness - Not really my vibe. 2.) Peanut Butter Blitz - This one stole the show for me especially since I'm a lover of peanut butter. Braxton's is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a spot where your pup is welcome too.

I had heard good things about Braxton's Kitchen but unfortunately things fell a little flat for me. They were nice and made things nice for our little dog, but that's probably about as good as it got. The breakfast "burrito" looked nice, but the hot link didn't have the crisp I as looking for so after a bite you're left with mostly casing versus staying unified. The egg was unseasoned so it didn't add anything and almost took away from the wrap, and I think for the size for the price the value is not even close. The tater tots were okay but could've been crispier? The thing that let me down the most though was that there were two works and the owner? For 1 party inside and 3 outside, but it seemed like it took forever to get our order taken, water refilled, and the check at the end, and we tried to ask nicely but the gentleman who finally helped didn't seem happy to be there so it ended the day on a bad note. The owner was a nice guy though but I don't believe we'll be back

SERVICE: What I thought was adorable was that it's dog driven and also provides dog options on the menu. Cute, right? Though I'm not a huge pet and restaurant lover, I still found joy and appreciation in this business. I also sent a photo of the menu to my brother who loves his dogs! Food came out quick, visited middle of the day on a Sunday, and loved we sat outside. Staff was pleasant. FOOD: The food was fine, average. Blueberry pancakes! I prefer a warm compote to top my starch - waffle or pancake. I love fresh but it just rolls around the plate. WELL: I'll return, maybe.

They had closed down and was surprised to see it open when driving by. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed our food. The tater tots were better than the fries and really enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich.

Wow! What an experience! Dogs loved it, I loved it. Food was amazing and well portioned and they even have food for dogs. Overall amazing service very nice and polite. With the outside seating you feel a nice breeze in the shade and over welcoming and inviting experience. 100 out of 10 amazing place!

Cute little spot to eat breakfast after a nice hike with your friends/dog. My friend and her sweet dog is an avid Braxton's goer so she decided to take me after a nice hike in T.O. They have a pretty solid menu with plenty of options for everyone but not too many where you can't decide. There tater tot's are yummy and so is the chicken sandwich! If you bring your dog, you can sit out side and they also get a menu (and bacon). Would come again for a brunch date

The menu is super customizable, which is perfect if you're not into typical breakfast plates or just want things your way. Everything comes out hot and the flavors are both classic and unique. The Eggs Benedicts are a must, especially the Baja-style version with chorizo, avocado, and that smoky chipotle hollandaise (drooling thinking about it now). The bacon sriracha burrito is flavorful without being overly spicy, and the chicken fried steak is tender, comforting, and exactly what you want it to be. Do NOT skip the mojo potatoes or the hash cake, they're both top-tier sides. Food is definitely the star here. In our experience the drinks are just OK. The lattes don't quite feel like cafe craft quality, but they do the job. They do a good cup of regular ole joe though. Service is friendly, welcoming, but not efficient. The staff tries their absolute best, but if you're in a hurry you'll need to waive them down each and every time. Weekend waits can be as long as 45 mins to an hour with you constantly having to check in on your status, guess that's a good thing! I figured we would get something that I could tolerate and it would be okay - generic dining. I did not expect to actually have something to write about. But I was wrong. The grilled chicken they serve with the Chaufa is very nicely seasoned. It is bits of breast meat, grilled with a little char and adds depth to the otherwise mild flavor of the rice dish. My husband had Chaufa with shrimp, which I didn't sample but he ate the entire meal without complaint. We ordered the pork belly bites to start. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I enjoyed this appetizer so much that I know I will order it again. If I have the chaufa again, I would definitely have it with the pork belly. I ordered the lemonade and was puckering in a good way. Honestly, it tasted more like limeade than lemon. I was happy it wasn't too sweet because I could really enjoy the refreshing citrus flavors. I would go there just for a lemonade. They serve it icy cold in mug style, mason jar glass. Our friend ordered the iced tea and when it arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the look of the fresh fruit in the clear glass, frosted over from the cold and ice. So nice. He said the herbs and fruit were a good combination. The wife of the owner waited on us. She is understated, friendly and efficient. We didn't have much of a wait as it looked as though we might have just missed the breakfast/brunch rush. I was impressed with how quickly we received our food. If we hadn't just eaten there a couple days ago, I would have gone to Azafran for dinner tonight. When I got to the Thousand Oaks area, I wish I had more time to have my meal properly, sitting down at the restaurant, but I took my order back to my car and chowed down quickly so I would have enough time to get to the airport. My vegan chicken and waffles were essentially a Belgian waffle topped with fried oyster mushrooms, accompanied with syrup and a side of mixed fruit. I couldn't stomach the fruit, but I the oyster mushrooms posing as chicken were delicious!! Especially with syrup on top. For instance, if you order the eggs Benedict, they come on waffles instead of English muffins; if you get a hamburger, waffles replace the hamburger buns. Our table ordered a coffee ($4.50), a strawberry lemonade ($7.00), a mimosa ($14.00), Benny Caught a Little Sam ($21.50), the Gravy Train ($24.00), and waffle bites ($13.00). With tax, the total came to $84.00 before gratuity. Benny Caught a Little Sam is a twist on "eggs royale". (Eggs royale is a variation of eggs benedict where the Canadian bacon is swapped for salmon.) In this version, brioche waffles are topped with a poached egg, smoked salmon, fresh tomato slices, spiced onions, and hollandaise sauce, then finished with a sprinkle of fresh chives. The Gravy Train is this restaurant's take on chicken and waffles: a Belgian waffle is topped with fried chicken breasts, smothered in gravy. The plate comes with side options, and I chose potatoes and fruit. Waffle bites are six mini waffles, similar in size to silver dollar pancakes, served with Nutella, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. I didn't choose this restaurant, and I'm not a fan of "breakfast foods." That said, I found the restaurant's interpretations interesting and the presentation on the plate appealing.
