Chips were good, though they were thick-cut potatoes like wedges, so I wish they could've been a bit crispier. I wasn't a fan of the sausage roll, but my friend liked it. Great service, we were checked on frequently. It's a loud spot in the later hours, but that martini was so good I made my friend go back the next night to get another.

All of them were really good with the hazy pale ale and the vanilla coffee blonde being my favorites. Cool art of the Wooden Robot could be found throughout the brewery. My only regret is that I didn't buy a t-shirt.

I have to say that my expectations were high for this place- lots of beer, a back deck and a ton of TVs. With all that in mind, I was let down. The back deck is awesome and I could see myself spending a lot of time there; however, the service and food were lacking (service more than food). My table's server, Ashley, took an inordinate amount of time every step of the way- menus, drink orders, appetizers, taking the entree order. It seems that after every step she would disappear for 15-20 minutes. What could have been a quick dining experience enhanced by a few more beers, turned into a grueling two hours of clock watching. I was actually relieved when I was able to sign my credit card slip and be released back into the wild. The food was okay, the fried pickles tasted a little bland. I also had the pimento cheeseburger (seeing it a lot lately on a lot of different menus), the burger was somewhat tasty, the fries were pretty burnt. Aside from the deck, this place does have great drink specials. I might give the food and service another shot, but I might not. Local restaurant with meat head bouncers. I came in with a cotton mask that allows me to breath without bad side effects (I have underlying health conditions the make wearing a n95 mask for prolonged periods dangerous so I try not to - I have also had COVID in early March, not contagious and have IgG antibodies so I'm not overly concerned about). I forgot to take the cotton mask with me when I was going to the bathroom. About 60% of the bar was not wearing a mask and the place was near empty. I was not within 6 feet of anyone. The bouncer walked close to me and tried to force me to put on a mask that was in his hands. Not wanting to put something on my face after his hands were on it I asked to go back to my table and get my mask. He said he would give me another one. I told him I don't know where those masks have been. He cut me off as I walking back to my table and I told him that if he was going to be so concerned about a mask he should concern himself with social distancing. He sucker punched me in the stomach and stared me down and said would you like a mask now. I really couldn't believe it. read more

Have been going to this bar for 4 years. It's right down the road from my university. My friends and I went on a Sunday night at 12:30am to celebrate a friends late birthday and was denied service because of my LEGAL Connecticut ID. I turn Twenty TWO in 10 days. The ID was checked by a manager and denied before he even saw or consulted me. I offered multiple forms of identification and they didn't care to review them. Mind you-- we were served earlier in the day for brunch. No fuss was made until we were told my ID was "fake". Once we made a fuss the cops were called and the story changed. They said they felt "uncomfortable serving us". Also, we know several employees and managers. The manger on duty refused to give his name. Rather disappointing seeing as we are regulars at this bar. Needless to say we will NOT be returning. All 5 of us. The bartenders name was Channing. (She suggested we "try" to get into a bar down the road with our "fake IDs"). I don't often leave reviews. In fact I don't think I've ever taken the time to leave a positive review. Here I felt I had to because of the level of service I got from one of the bartenders on staff here. Red Headed girl named Haley is without a doubt one of the most impressive workers I've met in the service industry. I've been to the restaurant several times. Frequently end up at the bar under the care and dedication of Haley. Her endlessly happy and energetic attitude is infectious. I've been a to a fair share of bars and restaurants around Charlotte, but never have I had the level of service provided by Haley. While the food and drinks at brazwells is 3.8/5 Haley makes the difference. 5/5 excellent place to go. Ask for Haley the red head. read more

Great food, great spot for sports, decent staff. Can be a little slow service but I think they're use to squatters for games and such. Only bad note... 1. Bathrooms are in the middle of the dining room and right beside kitchen. Kind of an odd location. 2. Door to kitchen is open and literally every employee in the building was eating right beside where the plates are finished before coming to table. Not a great thing to see but thank goodness our waitress was the only one not to eat something in the doorway. read more

This place has a great atmosphere feel right when you walk in. When I sat at the bar I was greeted immediately. The wings were amazing and the Oreo cheesecake is to die for. While I sat there and had a few drinks the bartender Kelsey really helped to make my time enjoyable. She was very hospitable and made some really great drinks. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. Ordered their avocado and cold grilled salad. Now the salad was big and very tasty. The only thing I did not like were the black beans that were added. They made my salad feel very mushy and since they give a hefty portion of the beans, I feel like it over powered my salad completely. Thats all I kept tasting were the black beans. Pair that with avocado and the salad just became very mushy all around. I could not finish it unfortunately. If they wouldn't out so much of the beans, I feel like it would be 100! Every one else loved their burgers, wrap, fries, fried okra. Wouldn't mind coming back and trying something other than their salads. Very cute and family friendly place. Plenty of seating options with bar options as well. Parking is horrendous though. Small lot in the back, few spaces in the front. Coming in and out the lot itself is a hazard and its right off Providence Rd so you get the picture. I wouldn't drive myself here but if im being driven here, I definitely wouldn't mind returning.

The vibe was just what I was looking for- friendly competition, excitement and uproar during key plays, and good food/drinks. We sat at the bar the first time and then a high top with a few more people the second time. I tried the chicken wings (maple bourbon and hot), chicken quesadillas, chicken tenders and a bacon chicken ranch flatbread. The flatbread wasn't quite a hit but everything else tasted good and was filling. Service is good, friendly overall, and food came out at a reasonable time so we could enjoy throughout the game. I'm happy to have found this spot because as much as I liked watching at a nearby brewery, that place did not have the volume up and despite it being crowded, not everyone was necessarily there for the game. @azfitfoodfun

One was a small side Caesar salad which I got. I was disappointed in the continuing practice for restaurants to charge for small changes like this within informing the customer. Waitress was very nice, however and attentive. What is also quite unique about the restaurant was that you could order small 4 oz beers, just for tasting at $2-3 each. The place is quite large and must get incredibly noisy at times with the hard surfaces and multiple TVs. There is an option to sit directly at the bar or at tables.

The wings were AMAZING, and the sliders were absolutely delicious! They were so good that I devoured them before I even thought to take a picture! Unfortunately, the pierogies were the one disappointment, especially since they were actually the main reason I decided to order from here. They were a bit too greasy for my taste. After eating two, I ended up placing the rest on a paper towel to absorb some of the excess oil, which unfortunately made them less enjoyable. That being said, I would definitely eat at The Degenerate again. I'd happily order the wings and sliders again, but I would probably skip the pierogies next time unless they're one of those dishes that are simply better enjoyed fresh at the restaurant rather than as takeout. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses, and those sliders and wings alone are worth another visit!
