The food ranged from ok to great, the service was super slow. We came on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm. We were the only table sitting inside, but after getting our menus we didn't see our server for the longest time. During the evening she would constantly walk by us and we had to actively flag her to get her to stop. When she said she'd be back in two minutes we knew it meant ten. We started with the cheese plate which was honestly pretty weird. Our server didn't tell us what the cheeses were and when we finally flagged her to ask she had to go check. They were thinly sliced instead of in chunks. The nuts looked like a trail mix medley with mainly peanuts (the cheapest nut). It was very bizarre. For my main I got the salmon quinoa and it was delicious. 10/10 dish, the salmon was perfectly grilled and flavorful. Outside is very cute but there's mosquitoes so we sat inside. Inside was less cute, which is sad. It's more casual looking. Overall I probably wouldn't come back, but the food isn't too bad overall. read more

Invited a couple to try this place for the 1st time. I think the food for the 3 of us was between a B- to a C+. Service was between a D and an F. Literally the worst service I ever had from beginning to end. No sign when you walk in to either seat yourself of not. No one behind the counter acknowledged me. So I had to ask - "yeah, seat yourself". Waited forever to even order drinks. I think we had decided food but wanted to at least get something. Ordered food. Waiting a while for my friends' food to come. Then nothing. The conversation is getting awkward because we keep watching for my food and seeing if anyone will pay attention to us. No. My food isn't there. No one I can ask. By this time I had finished my wine and now had no food and no wine. Both I and one of my friends started to waive our arms to get ANYONE'S attention. After a minute of that I turned to my friend and said "maybe I should light myself on fire to get some attention." By then waitress comes over and says "how is everything?" And I said "I NEVER GOT MY FOOD. I HAVE NOTHING TO DRINK OR EAT." She didn't realize I hadn't gotten my food. My mother waited tables so I am extremely understanding about challenges people in the service industry face. But this was ridiculous. No one serving you ever ever even looked at you. They finally found my dinner by then probably over 20 minutes since my friends were served, comped me a 2nd wine but I will never be back. And I felt bad for asking my friends to join me there. read more

Came here to check out this new business in my area and it delivered! This is a concept from Chicago and this is their first Florida location. The menu has many intriguing things to try from salads to pizza you can come in and try something different every time. I ordered the special which was a croissant burger and it was very yummy! I devoured it in minutes. They also have a bakery with a lot of great items and a full bar. They have big outdoor seated too. This could be easily a fun neighborhood spot and the staff is very nice. Date night, we ordered the Blue Cheese Bruschetta, it was soooo good. Creamy blue cheesy, perfectly crisp baguette, a fig jam, tomato's and cornichons with a prosciutto topper. Then we ordered the Prince Edward Mussels. I hope you're hungry or intend on sharing with 3 others. My husband and I couldn't finish them, there is honestly too many in the pot. But boy do the deliver flavor. Sit down and take notes Guy Fieri, this is flavortown. The broth is heavenly. Last savory we ordered was the burger. We ordered it midway through the mussels not realizing there were 1,000,000 mussels in our pot. So when it arrived, we were full. We each ate a quarter of it and it was amazing. The bread was fluffy, the meat was perfect and it all came together beautifully. We had truffle fries on the side. I highly recommend everything we ordered. We had a couple bites of a salted caramel chocolate tart that was bomb and a crème brûlée macaron that was epic. All of the staff are nice as can be. The space is cool, it's clean. While we didn't drink, the bartender was serving up some beautiful cocktails and based off the menu and guests faces, I bet they didn't disappoint. read more

Here's a polished, smooth rewrite: I went for their soft opening -- the drinks weren't my favorite, but the pizza was really tasty. They have a great menu overall, and the specials were a nice touch. The beignet special was really good, the mini Angus burgers were delicious, and the pain au chocolat was amazing. I also love that you can grab pastries and sandwiches to go if you don't want to dine in. The truffle fries were good, but they would be even better with a garlic aioli. read more

It's so pretty. I really wanted to love it. The food is ok but not great. We had the croquette's and they were watery. Which is very hard as a croquette...it should be ham, cheese, a bit of something to bind it. The hamburger was good. Service was fine. Wine list did not have any white wine w I recognized. It's worth checking out and I would go back for a drink but probably not a full meal. read more

I'm very happy that Westchase has this nicer restaurant now! Our cocktails were very enjoyable along with the sliders appetizer and caesar salad. The menu is a little bit all over the place, so it's hard to know what else is good, as the prices were a little higher for the quality of food. The outdoor seating was very nice and the live music was a great touch! With that being said, there were LED lights indoor that seemed out of place and our server was wearing pimple patches (not very professional or appetizing) - but I hope people will support and keep it in business! I've been twice with girlfriends for lunch and once for dinner. Food was yummy; flatbreads were great. And the cocktails were delicious!

Have had several meals here since the opening....food has been exceptional. Breakfast and espresso drinks were great, the croque monsieur was awesome, just like you get in Paris. The BV burger was my favorite, with the fries being great as well. Escargot was off the chain good!! And the drinks were fantastic. The Happy hour is 50% off specialty drinks, and 15% off apps....which made us....VERY HAPPY! Live music on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon out on the patio. read more

Met up with a couple friends the Friday after new year for happy hour and possibly have dinner afterwards . It was a nice night and live music was playing on the patio. It took several minutes for a server to take our drink order, I ordered the " Pinot noir" on special. When the drinks arrived we placed a charcuterie order. 40 minutes later our order was not to be seen, and the wine was terrible . We were ready to pay for our drinks and leave just as the charcuterie was being brought out. Not sure why it would take 40 minutes to put something out that doesn't need to be cooked ... not exactly buying the excuse there was a kitchen backup. Charcuterie was mediocre, and small for the price. Rating this 2 stars instead of 1 due to the location within WPV ( nice patio and music) and to give the benefit of the doubt this was an off night. My hope in the future is WPV will have a decent relaxing restaurant with good food and attentive service read more

We looked this place up online as we saw it on Marriott's way around town list. It stated it was a French bistro atmosphere so I was looking forward to it. Yes it was a Friday night however it was 8pm and we were one of 6 tables in restaurant that included inside outside and bar guest ....so....We arrived were seated took 7 minutes to order drinks, one cocktail I had "the last word" it was way too stringy the chartreuse was over powering and killed the rest of the flavor profile. My husband had a Sauvignon Blanc. We also ordered a charcuterie appetizer. Took a solid 10 minutes to get our drinks. When she returned with our drinks we placed our food order. He had the pear and Gorgonzola salad and added salmon I had the French fries nothing special..... we waited and waited 30 minutes go by and out comes our food we still have NOT received the appetizer. We cancelled appetizer and I requested ketchup salt and side plate. I was given ketchup and repeated my request for salt and side plate. I was brought a plate and repeated request for salt again..... then my husband flagged her down and requested salt I got it finally. Before we asked for our check I needed to place a Togo order.... Tried get servers attention (she was making drinks at bar for some guests and talking so I went up to ask. I asked 3 times and was ignored. Another employee a gentleman from back of house saw me and walked over to server and said I wanted her attention then she acknowledged me and took my order but told me go to pastry and get that there they would tell her and she'd add it to my bill. So I did only to stand there while 3 employees discussed how to ring in one employees food and left me standing for waiting an uncomfortable and awkward amount of time before acknowledgment and taking my order. End of day we had 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine , 1 salad, 1 side of fries, a takeout sandwich, 2 croissants and 2 pastries and our bill was $126. You can have mediocre food ( as this was) great service and people will return, but even great food with bad service will have customers not coming back. This was mediocre food and service was a 2 on a scale of 10. Steps of service for the industry should be retrained. I'm sorry I really hope they do well as I've seen many businesses in and out of that corner but I know I will not be returning. read more

We were excited to try this place because they market themselves as "French inspired" but it is far from anything French. I'd say it's more Cuban inspired. I tried the pork ramen and sent it back. The pork was pork belly and very tough. The broth was flavorless. They kindly offered to bring me something else so I ordered the parm sandwich. It didn't taste like parm and I couldn't eat it. Just not good. Very gooey. Another customer ordered it too and came up to me after noticing I wasn't eating mine. She couldn't eat hers either. My husband had the tuna poke bowl. Nothing special about it that would set it apart from other places - he said it was just ok. The decor is certainly not French at all, although it's a nice little deli style place with lots of covered outdoor seating. I hope they make it, but the menu is all over the place with tacos, pizza, Cuban, Asian, and what I guess they call French. They were proud to say that the owners make their own Bloody Mary mix.
