Shrimp platter was super tasty, had tartar and cocktail sauce, came with fries that were seasoned well, both dishes came with slaw! The slaw was good and had a unique flavor. Gumbo cup was really flavorful and meaty. The key lime pie cup was AWESOME. Super creamy and just the right amount of tart. We really enjoyed this stop overall, the service was fast once we ordered. This is my second time here. Last time I was here in December 2025 the chef was able to work with my dairy allergy so I can get the lobster roll. But this time in Feb 2026 they told me chef would not make me a lobster roll with no butter. Disappointed considering that they did this last time. Will not return. read more

Tried Breaker Breaker for lunch with my co workers. I will say this is a beautiful place to go to if you're trying to have an outdoor lunch on a day with great weather! This lies on the Southeast end of the belt line. I would say the food is pretty decent! I really enjoyed the fries and shrimp. The fries had a great level of seasoning and perfect crispy to it. It was also a large quantity of food that is fulfilling. The Chicken Sandwich only had a good flavor because of the bacon and fresh lettuce. The Salsa Verde was a unique twist to a grilled chicken sandwich. I would not recommend the hushpuppies. Although not photographed, I tried my friend's hushpuppies and they were not very tasty. I usually not a coleslaw person, but I will say, there is pretty good. It does have a spicy kick to it which I loved! Parking is very limited as it in a narrow street and I did not locate a parking lot or structure near by. The street does have a number of houses across the way so that also made the parking a little more complicated. What a fun place. The design and the layout of the restaurant is top notch. It's a place you pull up to and just are impressed before walking in. We sat inside and it gives mid century vibes. If you want a great place to hang out and enjoy the scenery this is your spot. The food is a limited seafood menu. We opted for the grouper sandwich, charbroiled oysters, and gumbo. They use great fish here, grouper and redfish. The grouper was a little dry, however the slaw and the tartar sauce were top notch. No kidding best tartar sauce I've ever had. They gave me a pleasantly huge cut of fish, it was jetting out the sides. My problem was it was a bit too dry and overcooked. The oysters were fine and so was the gumbo. The drinks are an incredible value. A pint of a well measured drink. We did have to flag down our waiters a few times. For checks or more food while inside. One waiters skirt was so short, we could easily see booty cheeks. I'm not complaining. Bottom line, I'm not going to endorse the food, but the atmosphere, drink value and seafood fare are solid. Breaker Breaker is a neat restaurant on the beltline. It has an upstairs patio that does have a some what different menu. We went on a Sunday and they had a brunch menu so we decided to stay downstairs on the inside. It is a small area, but plenty of seats. We loved the environment, it had an open window environment and an open bar. There were lots of people walking up to the open bar. It's was a little quiet since it was a little rainy that day and it was early. I bet it would be very busy on a beautiful day but they have lots of space. My house margarita was only five dollars since it was Sunday and it was so yummy. My hubby had an old-fashioned that had banana chips and it was pretty good. We absolutely loved the smoked fish dip and the hush puppies with this honey butter that was to die for. My grouper sandwich and slaw was delicious, but my husband's shrimp burger and fries were out of this world. Will definitely be going back soon to have a drink in the open bar and share an app. There were several servers and bar tenders that were very helpful especially when we asked questions. Food is piping hot and delicious, frozen drinks are wonderful, and there's always plenty of seats. My partner and I can share the Captain's Platter and a salad which makes us sufficiently full. You have to fill your own water which is usually fine but unfortunately there is no ice unless you flag someone down. I finally got to check out Breaker Breaker and it definitely lived up to the pre-opening hype!! I walked over with a friend from the Beltline. It's MASSIVE and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. We loved the retro diner vibes inside. There's also a walkup bar outside as well. It was a little confusing inside if it was seat yourself or wait to be seated, but the staff was super friendly and quickly got us situated. I ordered the Mucho Nada drink while my friend ordered the Sleeper Cab. Both frozen drinks were so good!! They had the perfect amount of alcohol and very different, but good flavors! We ordered a few plates to share, including the hushpuppies, fried shrimp platter, and charbroiled oysters. Everything came out in pretty decent time. The hushpuppies were SO GOOD and basically melted in your mouth. I also adored the pimento cheese spread it came with. The shrimp tasted super fresh and I liked the slaw it came with. Cheers for this place finally opening!!! I was absolutely ecstatic when I heard about this place and it did not disappoint. We came on a Saturday around 8:30-9. Inside is first come first seating but there are waiters and the outside seating has a walk up window to order. We sat inside Our waiter was great! To start, I got the sleeper cab to drink! The drink was delish and crisp and not lacking alcohol for sure lol We also got the hush puppies which came with a delicious dip and these were phenomenal!! And huge! For my main, I got the fried shrimp basket and it was the star. The coleslaw had some tang and so did the Tartar sauce. The shrimp were great and big and the fries were delish! Stopped by for drinks and a snack while out enjoying a beautiful day on the beltline. I initially sat at the bar and was later informed that dogs are not allowed at the bar and we would need to relocate- no issue at all, but that would have been nice to know before settling in. I ordered a cup of gumbo and a glass of rose'. I absolutely love gumbo and I'd consider this a solid option. It didn't taste like any "traditional" gumbo I've had, but it did have a good flavor to it and included plenty of meat. The rose' ended up being a small boxed wine, which was a GREAT value, but too much for me to drink since I already had brunch and drinks at another place. We went here for lunch and it was delicious! There is an outside and inside seating area. It has a very convenient walk up window and great outdoor seating. The service was fast and friendly. My family got the chicken tenders, and the roast chicken club. The tenders were okay and the roast chicken club was good I had the blackened group sandwich with fries and it was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries were very crispy. It's a big piece of fish and very filling meal. I really enjoyed the meal and would def recommend. read more

He was very unwelcoming and we questioned him afterwards and his response - non apologetic and apathetic . We met my son and his wife at this seafood restaurant off the BeltLine. This is a really cool setting for a restaurant and bar. It was formally a covered rail spur that was used by a steel mill to load products onto rail cars. They left the covered metal structure over the property and built a great restaurant under the metal roof. It was an architectural miracle that they fit the restaurant between the Atlanta Beltline and the adjacent streets. But it was worth all the owner's efforts because this is a gem of a seafood restaurant. They have both inside and outside seating and a bar on the first floor. The outside seating consists of both hightop tables and table seating. They are finishing an upstairs bar that will be a great addition to this restaurant. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon in the ATL so we elected to sit outside next to the Beltline. We ordered at a window, paid, and were given a number for our table. Our drinks and appetizers were brought out to the table. My son had a Sierra Nevada draft beer and my better half ordered a spicy margarita. Our shared appetizers were seafood dip served with Voodoo Chips and hush puppies. Later we had an order of Boudin Balls served with a scrumptious remoulade sauce. All the appetizers were fantastic. For our entrees, two of us ordered the Blackened Grouper sandwich. Each sandwich had a generous portion of grouper that was served on a toasted bun. My better halve ordered the fried shrimp Poboy and a side of fries. The Poboy was awesome and the fries were crispy and hot. The fries are house cut from potatoes and all of us really liked them. My son ordered the fresh fish platter (the fresh fish was Redfish today) and it included fries and slaw. The beltline did it again with renovating a decades long eye sore. This former train yard building still has old rafters and rails built into the modern but old school. It's huge too, so there was no shortage of seating. I had the poutine for my meal and also got to try the shrimp platter and hush puppies. I thought the fried shrimp was really good, but I wasn't a big fan of anything else. The poutine had a weird taste to it, maybe too much ginger, but it overpowered every other flavor.
