    Tiffany's Classic w/ Bacon
    Joe M.

I recently returned to the Silver Terrace area where I grew up and was on the hunt for a great breakfast spot. What a fantastic find in the San Bruno Ave strip! I ordered Tiffany's Classic Breakfast with bacon and the Avocado Toast special, and both dishes were incredible. The Classic Breakfast was satisfying, while the Avocado Toast was fresh and delicious. The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, perfect for a leisurely brunch. It was great to meet the owner, Patty, who was so welcoming, and our friendly server, Song, made our experience even better with their attentive service. All in all, this place is a must-visit, Highly recommend!

Great breakfast with friendly staff. I would definitely come back here. If the hashbrowns were more crispy this place might get a 5 star.

I came here on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised by how cozy, clean, and comforting this place is. I came right at opening and customer service was so incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious. The orange juice was really good. Not too sweet and didn't feel unhealthy or sugary! They have a machine that squeezes the oranges fresh. The pancakes are an incredible texture. The strawberries were slightly sweet and very fresh. The eggs and country fried steak were delicious. The portion was bigger than I expected for a special and needed a box to take home! It is a great deal for what it is. I can't wait to take my friends back here.

We visited this place for breakfast, and when we walked in, I felt like I was in an American movie, the kind where you're traveling across the country by car, stop somewhere for breakfast, and then get back on the road. That vibe was really nice. I ordered coffee. They don't have espresso, only regular black coffee with creamers on the table, which was totally fine for me because I actually liked their coffee. A big plus is that when you buy one cup, they offer free refills. I didn't need a refill, but it still felt very generous and appreciated. I really liked the staff: they were attentive without being pushy. There was no pressure to rush, and the atmosphere was welcoming, calm, and simple. It felt relaxed and comfortable. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that, while everything was good, it just wasn't memorable enough for us to come back. The food was fine, but not especially delicious. I ordered their hash browns, which are a signature dish. I love hash browns and expected them to be extra crispy, but unfortunately, they were softer than I'm used to. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with lots of vegetables and hash browns on the side. He felt the same way about the hash browns, not crunchy enough for his taste. The scrambled eggs were filling and good, but again, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it's still a nice place to visit at least once, especially if you live nearby. It's affordable, we paid about $40 for everything, which felt great since breakfast usually costs us almost twice that. For the price, atmosphere, and service, it's a solid spot, just not one we'd personally return to!

    Veggie omelette - just okay
    Tiffany A.

As a Tiffany myself, I knew I had to at least try this place! The coffee was more like "coffee tea" rather than pure coffee. I got the veggie omelette with sourdough toast and I asked for no cheese. Unfortunately my omelette came with cheese and the sourdough was not very sour at all- it just tasted like white bread. Quite sad indeed. I don't really like sending items back unless it's really that bad and I could manage to pick around the cheese. Still disappointing

We got two different eggs benedicts: San Bruno Florentine and Chicken n Egg. The San Bruno Florentine included spinach, mushroom, a sausage patty, poached egg with sauce, cheese on an english muffin. Loved this. It was so delicious. The Chicken n Egg was a poached egg with sauce, fried chicken, and cheese on an english muffin. This was okay. The chicken was too dry for my liking. Tater tots and fries were as expected. The restaurant is small but super cute, with lots of Portola Neighborhood decor. The service was great. Waitress was kind and attentive. Food was made to order and the time to receive the food reflected that.

Guys did a great job serving us, food was really filling and delicious. Ordered two different Benedicts and they come in 3! One thing i would say is they should have alternatives like oatmilk/soy/almond for milkshakes otherwise the fresh oj is good.

This place was AMAZING! Very STRONG customer service, great food, and a bit of parking (rare in SF). They worked hard to make food fresh and avoid my allergies. It tasted really good! Fresh! Very kind and helpful, getting me artificial sugar I wanted. They gave me good recommendations, great coffee. Like, really good! Let me sit at a big table as I didn't want to chat at counter. Changed my grumpy morning into a happy one. My family is likely appreciative too!

Pretty good neighborhood diner. The food is pretty tasty. The service is very nice. I had my Chick'n Egg Benedict with tater tots. The tots were crunchy. The meal made my stomach really full. The chocolate milk is pretty simple. It had some drizzled chocolate syrup with milk in it and a whip cream. Coffee is unlimited. Overall, it is pretty good.

The place itself is semi crowded but still pretty quiet, and I do like the classic diner style ambiance. It feels comfortable and familiar, which is what drew me in. The menu has a lot of classic American breakfast options, which sounded great. I ordered the trio eggs benedict and asked for extra crispy hash browns, but unfortunately the hash browns came out barely cooked and borderline raw. My bacon never came out at all, which was disappointing. On top of that, the food took a really long time to arrive. It seemed like they were overwhelmed with delivery orders, which is probably why everything felt slow. On the positive side, the waitresses were fast, attentive, and kept the place clean. Service itself wasn't the issue, it was more the kitchen timing and missed items. Overall, I like the vibe and the staff, but the food execution and long wait really took away from the experience.

The best breakfast spot in San Francisco! One word would describe my experience, "Outstanding" from the food to the service this place deserves a medal for best Brunch in SF.

Chorizo egg scramble with homemade hash browns
    Serena S.

Delicious homemade food served with a warm touch. What a neighborhood treasure! First, the food is made from scratch. The owner proudly detailed how they boil, shred, then cook the hash browns - the result is a delicate crispy-on-the-outside yet soft-on-the-inside texture. They also squeeze the orange juice fresh - you can see the machine on the counter. Their chorizo scramble was packed with flavor and fresh veggies for a whole meal. I had wandered in early morning so was able to get a table no problem. I would have liked to eat at the counter as a solo diner but all the seats were taken because you could tell people were enjoying each other's company. Seemed like a place where 'everybody knows your name' for the regulars. Classic diner food and service in the best way possible. Wish they would open up in North Beach too!

    Eggs Florentine

By far the most delicious, perfectly cooked eggs benedict I have ever tried. The eggs weren't slimy, but also weren't over poached either. They don't skimp on the spinach (and they sautéed the spinach too, making it extra tender and flavorful) and the hollandaise sauce is killer. Hash browns were also delicious and flavorful. The portions are massive, you definitely get a great amount of food for the price. You can even share a plate with another if needed. The place has a cute, modern diner ambiance that still feels homey and inviting. A great addition to the neighborhood, for sure. Service is very kind and they work quickly, however it gets so busy that they may sometimes mess up the order -- regardless, they are quick to fix any mistake.

I asked a passing waitress how long was the wait--(30 minutes she said confidently). I had ZERO faith in that estimate. I was wrong. About EVERYTHING. The Host was a genius. Our waitress was a royal. Her serving team was the Kentucky Derby of thoroughbreds racing to place the silverware, condiments, used dishes, and refilled coffee going. The food tasted Michelin level. I can SAY that because we had eaten dinner at an actual Michelin rated restaurant the night before. (No Yelp rating needed because they ABSOLUTELY deserved it= NARI) I had a FRIED French Toast BECAUSE it cannot sit waiting to be served. My daughter had Eggs Benedict and the granddaughter had fresh fruit, fresh squeezed OJ in an ADULT glass (because she is a Big Girl now). While we paid our tab we heard a woman scream "I'm giving this restaurant a ONE STAARR REVIEW on YELP because of this WAIT!!!" OMG I thought someone had been ROBBED--but..on THIS Mother's DAY..it was only a spoiled young lady with poor manners. For me...now at a point in life that WAITING anywhere for anything is a PERCENTAGE of TIME I have LEFT to live...this breakfast was easily worth the time that it cost in human terms. Go any time you got a Mom, Grandma, Dad, offspring, first date or best friend you want to share a moment in time with early in the day over food and drink. No waiting worth mentioning. Thanks

The Bloody Marys are delicious, they have a solid beer and wine selection, and the service is warm and friendly. Now for the not-so-amazing. The coleslaw is bland, watery, and served in a little plastic takeout container. The small tables feel cluttered with oversized sugar, salt and pepper shakers, bowls of foil-wrapped butter, extra utensils, napkins, and hot sauce, leaving very little room for your meal. Even the water is served in large plastic cups, which makes it feel more like a backyard cookout than a restaurant. The catfish po' boy is flavorful, but it's built in a way that's difficult to eat. My first two bites were nothing but bread, the third was tomato, and it wasn't until the fourth bite that I finally got to the catfish--by then the tomato had already slipped out. It's delicious, but you'll probably have an easier time tackling it with a fork and knife. Overall, there's a lot of heart at Brenda's. The food is comforting, the atmosphere is welcoming, and despite a few quirks, it's a place I keep coming back to when I'm craving Southern comfort food.
