I've been wanting to try this hidden gem for a while, and it definitely did not disappoint. The customer service was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our breakfast in the outdoor seating area. We like a simple breakfast, and everything tasted homemade and made with care. The eggs were soft and scrambled perfectly, the pancakes were fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness, and the country fried steak was crispy with gravy that added a nice texture. We'd definitely recommend this spot and will be adding it to our list of favorites.

A neighborhood gem! Brunch was great and I like that they have options of pancakes or French toast breakfast with optional upgrade to their specialty ones. The country fried steak was different with a slightly curry-inspired flavor - I highly recommend trying it. Service is great - everyone works together to check on the tables. The restaurant has quite a few tables inside so there didn't seem to be a wait on a Sunday morning. A few tables outside if you have a dog (they also provided the cutest water bowl).

Glen Park in San Francisco was recently highlighted nationally as one of the coolest neighborhoods in America. The commercial core is small, with long‑time independent shops, cafes and a tight‑knit community, often referred to locally as "the Village." One of my favorites is Glen Park Cafe. It just has a great vibe all around. And the food is pretty awesome for sure. It seems like they have the "it" factor. It's right on the corner with enough windows and exposure to the morning sun to make it feel "breakfast-sy" cheery. Or is it the playful menu they have, or the coolness of the patrons, essentially the next-door neighbors you'll have for the next 45 minutes or so, ones you actually enjoy. You'll love the food and I've no doubt you'll come back. Maybe next time, you'll be my neighbor at the next table. See you there soon!

One of the best breakfast restaurants in Glen Park. The customer service is top notch. They are very friendly, they were happy to answer questions, and make recommendations. I ordered the buttermilk blueberry pancakes. This isn't my go to, and they were delicious !! The blueberry syrup was the game changer. The layer of flavors; the butter, the blueberry syrup, it was tremendous. I now dream of these tasty cakes! I had four sausage, and poached eggs that were part of the breakfast "meal". The sausage was really tasty, and the eggs were perfectly poached. So, so, good! The parking isn't bad, considering it's SF, and my huge breakfast, the price was reasonable. Glen Park Cafe is elevated diner food that is delicious!!

It's a lovely neighborhood spot, but that also means there can be a bit of a wait to get in. The service is quick and it's light and bright inside, also with a few spots outside if it's a nice day. Pancake Combo: Pair of classic diner pancakes with sausage (or bacon or ham) and eggs. At $20, this is a pretty normal SF price. Tasty stuff, but not groundbreaking of course. Fried Jalapeno Poppers: I love some poppers and ranch. These are probably pre-frozen like most places in the world, but they're good. Overall, it's a nice and reliable experience with good food.

Food 5/5 - the food was good! I'm not usually a brunch person--or simple breakfast person. I love breakfast, but I would never really pay to go out for it. This place is worth the buck though. Things I ordered: -coffee was super strong but subtle and I like my coffee like this -French dip: I liked the soft bread, salad and the dip sauce was yummy. Service 5/5 - The waiter was really friendly. Service was fast as well. Ambiance 5/5 - I love this little hidden gem--Glen Park, like a little Italy. I hope this area never changes. These restaurants have been here for decades.

Brunches here are rock solid. This corner shop feels welcoming & homey as soon as you sit down. Service is warm and friendly. Everything- from the breakfast burrito to lox and bagel to the machacca scramble came in huge portions, so be prepared to bring food home unless you're super hungry and could eat it all! Their fresh squeezed orange juice is sublime.

Cute spot, solid food. Great place to catch up with friends. Service was good too. I would love to go back to try the biscuits and gravy!

I've been here on multiple days of the week for brunch, and my experience here has always been fantastic. I love the mimosas; they have multiple flavors to choose from. My favorite items off the menu are the machaca scramble and the country fried steak. The coffee is amazing too. The people here are super friendly and the vibes are pretty chill.

First time coming here and already want to go back. We were lucky to find street parking. The food was great. My burrito was tasty. Especially the soy chorizo. I was so happy they offered that. My husband enjoyed his omelette and said the OJ was good. It's a small restaurant but there was enough room. Servers were helpful. Will be returning

Glen Park Cafe is your basic, but reliably good neighborhood diner. It's small and can seem cramped but, later in the day, it slows down. Options are simple burgers, sandwiches and brunch comfort foods. I had hopped off Bart to head over to Glen Canyon Park and made a pit stop here for lunch. The impossible burger was a filling choice. Fries are extra and soda comes in cans. Service was friendly and quick. Nothing overly extraordinary but a cute little neighborhood spot.

Our group of 6 got seated within 10-15 minutes on a Saturday morning and the inside is so lovely. Very homey and welcoming diner style. The raspberry pancakes were probably my favorite that we shared a small stack and it wasn't just raspberry sauce on top--it was even in the batter!! Half of us tried the special chilaquiles with carnitas and that was the move for sure. So tasty and great portions. Eggs cooked perfectly over easy. The other half had breakfast burritos and they hit the spot after a night out. The staff constantly checked in on us and we are leaving with happy full stomachs.

French dip was fantastic. Came on a weekend and had to wait about 30 minutes. Service was fast. There is a bathroom located inside the kitchen.

We had the French toast sticks, very good, as well as the classic breakfast dish, my partner had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were decent, but we were there for the company mostly. The restaurant was quaint and cute, more compact, but had a secondary overflow area in a separate part of the restaurant. There were restrooms on both side, and Causewells served as a chill morning for us with our friends. The location had a cute bar set up for evening link ups, and the service was very friendly. The vibe is more of what you go for the food is decent but won't necessarily blow you away. Try them out and see for yourself. For tourists, or visitors of the city, the location is in the Marina District, so Golden Gate Bridge is near if you'd like to sightsee. This location is also very close to the Presidio theater.

The wait on a Wednesday evening was kind of long but doesn't feel too bad when you're with good company. My friend and I waited about an hour around 6:30. The mushroom pizza was very flavorful. We also got the olive oil cake which came with a dollop of what I think is whipped cream cheese. It had a strong olive oil flavor, extremely moist and delicious. We were seated at the bar and although it was a little tight, it was nice to be able to look around the decorated area behind the bar. Tons of vinyls and quirky decor. Calibur is the place to get an organic grass fed burger. I got the double cheese burger with Calibur sauce. It was tasty and it had great flavor along with a soft bun. The fresh grass fed cheese burger pairs well to eat with cheese fries in SF. The fries were crispy and saucy and got a bit messy. I've been here quite a few times now, and it has honestly never let me down…read more I usually play it safe and order one of their burgers with fries which, to be fair, is hard to mess up--but on my most recent visit, I decided to try the monthly special: the Crispy Chicken Tacos. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical because it only came with two tacos, and I was starving. I almost ordered a second serving, but I'm so glad I didn't... or maybe I should have because they were that good. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and you could actually taste the hot honey without it overpowering everything else. It paired so well with the corn, slaw, and sauce, creating the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and fresh. And that squeeze of lemon on top? It brought everything together. Easily one of the best specials I've had in a while. One thing I also appreciated was how extensive the menu is. Since I almost always order a burger, I hadn't realized how many options they offer. My friend and I came with our kids, and everyone found something they were excited to eat, which made ordering easy. We grabbed one of the outdoor tables since we stopped by after the lunch rush on a weekday. The seating itself was nice, but be prepared to share the space with some very bold birds. One especially large bird was absolutely determined to steal our food. Obviously that's not the restaurant's fault, but it's worth mentioning if you're hoping for a quiet, uninterrupted meal outside. I can also see this place getting pretty hectic during peak hours, so if your schedule is flexible, I'd recommend stopping by outside the lunch rush. Overall, though, this spot continues to be one of my go-to places, and I'll definitely be back.
