Egg-cellent experience here BKB at Desert Ridge this morning. Gianna R. was super attentive, kept the drinks full, and made sure we were happy with our orders. We got there not too early, and we're able to get seated for four right there on the spot It was like a daytime bistro experience. The servers all worked together but the morning might and a tree on the inside gave it an indoor outdoor feeling...and they still had some outdoor seating. It was a fantastic breakfast experience.

A lot of hits but some misses. First the misses 1. I went with create your own omelette and selected mushrooms, sauteed spinach, and avocado. The avocado was a guacamole, which is fine. But came out with brown on it. This means it was made earlier and then left open rather than covered. The air causes it to be brown. 2. The person dropping off the food, I asked if I could get some ranchero sauce. She said yes, never saw her again. To be fair she wasn't our server who did ask if we needed anything but since I had asked other person I was concerned two items show up. 3. The sweet potato cakes have cheese in them. There is zero mention regarding that. 4. For the Farmers market scramble or omelette the veggies are precut n the morning and into a bag. Thus if you are allergic to any one of the veggies that can't remove them. I went build your own omelette to solve that, but it's hard to find due to the amount of food options, a plus, but yellow light color on build your own should be in a more visible color. The spouse had the farmer's market bowl with quinoa and goat cheese. She liked it but said it lacked some seasoning and the sauce they put on it, isn't enough. My egg white omelette which they charge an extra $1 for the egg white, nice mark up, had the greenish brown avocado guacamole. I should add the menu says avocado not guacamole, but whatever. I had mushrooms, spinach and said avocado surprise. Asked for pico de gallo. Delivered I wish they offered a tofu scramble or vegan chorizo or impossible vegan sausage patty as options for folks who do not eat meat. The BKA potatoes were great. Light. The spouse got the pumpkin latte and had almond milk instead of regular milk. She got changed $2 for the switch. This shouldn't be a fee. It's bad business practice, especially in current economic conditions where you can buy almond milk for $5 at the grocery store. Fairly confident they can get a better deal. Fresh OJ is good I recommend. Good serving size, we had leftovers.

Whoa, why haven't I been here before. Hearing all these great things about their menu. I picked up a lunch. Easy peasey to order online. The Blackened Salmon Breakfast Bowl was fantastic. Let's talk about playing flavors on top of flavorsssssss. Yes, I am so exited to see what y'all are doing up in there. Food was excellent, menu is out of control. It's 5 Yeses from me! Oh, I also had to try those Avocado fries! Worth it!No photo didn't make it back to work lol

Our server, Kallina is amazing and earned this review's 5 stars. Her recommendations were delicious and honesty very appreciated. The hostess sat us at a dirty table but I'm glad I had wet wipes and tissue. She placed the utensils on the table on which a used cup was sitting. She removed the cup. We sat at the other table which we didn't notice hadn't been wiped until we sat down and she was gone. On to the meal. It was our first time here. Everything looked good. Kallina provided good suggestions and details about items we were considering. I chose the BLACKENED SALMON QUINOA SPINACH BOWL with blackened chicken in place of the salmon with ranch dressing on the side. It was simply delicious and, though it looked like a small portion when placed on the table, it was quite filling. My friend ordered the CHICKEN AVOCADO SALAD without cilantro. Our meals were appetizing. We'll have to make it for breakfast next time. The "cookie" caught my eye but it was actually a HOMEMADE GRANOLA PROTEIN BAR. It was an afternoon snack and tasty. The restroom is clean and neat. It's different seeing the cleaning supplies out but that means they are handy and no one has to go far to get them. This was a decent first visit. We searched Yelp for a restaurant near us and, after calling, we got on the waiting list. When we arrived we asked to be seated inside. That wait wasn't too long. Glad to have come across BKB.

We enjoyed the Almond Croissant French Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes, Dirty Breve Chai, and the iced tea. Definitely add yourself to the waitlist! They are packed every morning. Sundays are insane, Fridays are better.

This is a must if you're a Breakfast junkie! The staff were friendly & engaging. The food came super fast ( weekday) . The food came and we just stared at it. So beautiful and delicious!! I ordered the Raspberry Croissant French Toast & a side of scrambled eggs. My husband ordered 2 egg Breakfast. All I can say is .. SOO GOOD! Prices are moderate. So worth it!!

First time at Breakfast Kitchen Bar. Space was large and open, service was great, menu was diverse, prices were reasonable, food was good. I had the keto pancakes served with small bacon crumbs, pork sausage, butter and maple syrup. Coffee cup was never empty. I would comeback now that I know the location. All good here!

She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and checked on us just the right amount. We ordered two BEC sandwiches, which sadly are no longer on the menu, but wow, they were delicious! The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Instead of the greens, we opted for the Million Dollar Potatoes and they were super yum! Such a tasty choice and the perfect addition to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely breakfast experience. Thank you, Arely, for taking such good care of us. The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
