Delicious breakfast, super friendly service! Our favorite breakfast spot in the Denver area!

This place is an absolute institution, and I really appreciated them hosting our large group a few weeks ago. We were able to call and make reservations, and they were able to seat our large group right on time. The menu is extensive, the service is awesome, and everything is priced really reasonably. A friend raved about this place. However, it isn't too close to our house. But the other day we happened to be in the area and stopped by for breakfast. Both my wife and I loved the food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. I was impressed with the team work of the wait staff and how fast they were. The food was excellent and very affordable! The BEST breakfast we've had in a long time. The service was wonderful, everyone said hello when we entered and goodbye/thank you when we left, which is such a small thing but noticeable! The vibe is cute and casual diner style. We were sat immediately and the food came out just as fast! I had the Mass-Confusion and genuinely think it's the best breakfast I've had. Breakfast was great, service was great, and it's cute m. We sat outside in the covered patio and enjoyed breakfast. We ordered one of the skillets and burritos and they were delicious. Portion size is HUGE so you could share if you are not super hungry. read more

The name intrigued me. Curious Georgette. It was busy when we got to this place. We opted for an outside table when everybody was looking for a table inside. It was warm as a dragons breath! They do have a front and back patio. We ended up in the back patio. You must try the Hashinator! It's strips of corned beef already mixed with hash. Big strips of hash!! But the meat is visibly impressive! Lots! The whole thing was tasty! It came with two eggs and I chose mine over easy since it came with a choice of bread to pick up my yolk. Sour dough. Another choice for corned beef hash is the canned one. Why pick something inferior to save a few bucks? Try their Pancakes too! A circle of moist love! I love the food here! Service is great. I would love to give this charming little place a good review but the fact is, our food was super greasy. Go but be careful what you order.

Decent diner food but staff was brash and anything but welcoming. Got charged wrong amount also. Won't be back.

Okay so this is definitely going to be a back and forth review so here's the deal: the food? Is literally to die for. I got the breakfast queen supreme with French toast and sausage, and I swear on my life it was the best French toast and sausage I've ever had. Ever. The portion sizes are big, but you're paying for that so it checks out. The service was incredible, fast and friendly!! Our server was Tammi, she was so quick and attentive to our tables needs. The ambiance is a very big dinner, with friendly wait staff and clearly keeps good regulars. My complaints are: it's hot, there were a lot of bugs flying around, and the bacon waffle was NOT worth the $11 price tag. Despite those complaints, I will absolutely be coming back. read more

Well, I can fully understand why this joint gets as mamy reviews as it does; The place is forever packed. We all started about mid-brunch timing and even after we had our meals, talked a bit and finally left early afternoon, the place retained a huge waiting period for new guests. The people hunger for that sweet, sweet omelettes! The food was actually pretty good, too. Nothing too fancy or stand-outish, but satisfies all the same. What did stand out was the service, the young lass that assisted us had no problem changing the order for one of us simply because that meal was just not to their liking. We had Sunday Breakfast at the Breakfast Queen. Our food was nicely prepared and presented. Our server was attentive and even anticipated my need for additional napkins. Water and coffee were plentiful as were the creamers and sweeteners. The Breakfast Queen is a true dinner in every sense of the word. I almost felt like going back to meet Mel. When in Englewood, this is the premier place for brunch. Consistently, for many years now, I have had excellent meals and service and have never been disappointed - seriously, never. I have almost run out of coffee once in all those years, but, before I could raise my hand, a waitress was there and I was amazed at her stealthiness. If you haven't had their Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs breakfast, you are missing out on a gem! The restaurant is classic diner style seating with a comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff. Breakfast Queen surprised us in the best ways! We waited about 40 minutes for a table. I wasn't thrilled initially but it turns out that the food and service were worth the wait. They serve half cookies while you wait. They aren't fancy. Seemed like Costco three bite cookies cut in half, but with coffee readily available, it made the time pass and the immediate hunger subside. Everyone is really nice including the other patrons. Weekend waits are cramped but when everyone has the same end goal, it seems it was just the norm to be kind to your neighbor. I really liked the overall feeling here. We quickly decided on our food once seated and tried the corned beef hash with eggs, the French dip with onion rings and an omelet with cheese and sautéed veggies. Everything arrived at the same time with temps seeming just right across the board. The eggs were cooked just as requested which is really the top requirement when my husband orders eggs out in the world. They make their own ranch dressing and it was perfect with the onion rings. The roll for the French dip was toasted slightly helping the sandwich stay together for the dipping process. It was a really solid experience and with a repeat performance soon. read more

Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes just to be seen by a server, then only got one cup and one set of silverware for two people. Food took 45 minutes, while two tables that came after us were served and finished before we even got ours. Server barely spoke, forgot our boxes, then rushed the check. This was place was so good. I mean, for breakfast, it has that authentic diner feel as soon as you walk in, with the aesthetic and all. My buddy and I went here while I was visiting and tried it out. It's right on the main strip and easy to find! I had the Huevos Rancheros and the fried eggs came smothered in hatch green chile sauce that bursted with flavor. My friend had the mountain man skillet. The tortillas that came with our meals were hot, fresh and we couldn't stop loading them up with all our food and chowing them down! This place is a must try if you're looking for just that authentic home style diner food and feel! This was our first, and likely last, visit to Breakfast Queen. The wait was fairly short for 10am on a Saturday, 15 minutes or so. Staff is friendly. Food was underwhelming. We ordered burritos, my husband ordered the one with chorizo and said it tasted more like breakfast sausage or plain pork. I ordered the Mazatlan burrito and it was okay. In both burritos the scrambled eggs were severely overcooked and dry/rubbery. The green chile had good flavor but was gelatinous and set up quickly after our meals were delivered. Burritos are served with potatoes on the side and those were a hard pass for both of us. Coffee was terrible; we didn't drink it and they charge $4 for it (and all other beverages). This restaurant receives rave reviews, has very reasonable food prices, and it could be that it was just what we ordered that falls flat here. But.. I feel if what I ordered has components of a lot of your other dishes and it wasn't great it would be difficult for those other dishes to be better. read more

Wonderful service Extensive menu. The food is amazing. My only issue was parking, and we figured that out. Had steak and eggs... daughter enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and the gentleman did blueberry French toast. Coffee was good, as were the tea selections. Good greasy spoon, skillets are typically delicious. Only thing that keeps me from coming back more often is just how expensive it is.

Came to this little breakfast spot after rock climbing and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I shared one of the specialty platters. We had the hash browns, ham, eggs and 2 pancakes and it was A LOT of food and reasonably priced. The pancakes were big and delicious and I am glad I didn't not have it myself. We also got a side of the homemade green chili and topped the eggs and hash browns. The green chili is a must have! It is a small little dinner with outdoor seating in the front and back. Loved the diner vibes but was caught off guard by the "don't tread on me" art on the wall. My partner said the coffee tasted like toilet, and I didn't disagree. The burrito was a generous portion, but the bacon was all loaded on one side and avocado on the other! The eggs in the burrito were pretty dry. Much too meaty and greasy for my liking, but felt full. This is our stop whenever we have come from Greeley to an appointment at Swedish. Every employee is friendly and delightful. Big shout out to Erika! The food has been fantastic every time. The atmosphere is the best! We look around at the other folks enjoying a visit and good food and imagine that a good lot of them are locals. It's so fun. I think about our time there for many days after and look forward when we can go again. Makes the sting of going to the hospital much less. We'll never find out about other nice restaurants in the area because of our commitment to The Breakfast Queen! Big love to owners and staff! read more
