Up for the day and stumbled on this place. Very clean, greeted and sat right away. Ordered Cinnamon swirl pancake breakfast and husband ordered steak and cheese skillet. Food was out in less than 10 mins!! Fresh and tasty! Wish I had taken a picture!! We will be back!! Yummm!! read more

Just had breakfast at the Breakfast Station with my brother in law. Was Greeted by the staff. My favorite waitress, MEL seated us. Took our drink order and came right back to take our order. Food came out right away, was hot and well presented. Mel came by to see if everything was ok. Very friendly and personable. Even if she is a Bears fan, she's my favorite waitress!! Food is great, coffee is terrible. They say it's their filtration system because they use Folgers coffee. If you can get past the first cup and it's taste, then the refill doesn't seem quite as bad. But service is great. You are in and out with time to spare if you have another appointment. And it is nearby! read more

Pretty much anything you order will be made with care and attention. You can just tell when your food was cooked with pride. There are a few tiny things I would change. The ketchup is horrible. =( Its either bad, not real heinz, or sits out too long. We have eaten here 3 times now, and its always very consistent. Also, the grits were kinda mucky. We had been ordering lunch for office from them couple times a month. Each order consisting of 5 or 6 sandwiches. We requested that each sandwich be cut into quarters, since its shared office wide. I was told by the waitress "They don't have time to cut our sandwiches, and your order will be ready in 15 mins." So upon picking up our $63 order I asked to speak with the manager. Said person come out of back, proceeded to tell me "We don't have time to cut sandwiches and we aren't compensated for that" I responded with, ' But while preparing and packaging our order you can't cut our sandwiches ??' "No, we don't have time for all that". I paid our bill, left tip and took lunches walked back to my office. 8-10 mins later restaurant manager appeared in my office asking to speak with me. I went outside to speak with him. He (manager) tells me he was "Offended that I asked to speak to a manager, and that I should've known he was busy." I responded with, you're the manager and if there's a concern from customer, I would think you'd want to know. He walked away. My question to you as a reader, if he were so busy to cut sandwiches, but he had time to leave his establishment walk 2 other businesses over to tell me, HE was offended ??? Admittedly we frequented Breakfast Station #5 out of location convenience. Other restaurants will be getting more of business instead !!!!! read more

Came here while visiting with the grandparents over at Sugar Mill Woods. This place is a great little diner that reminds me a lot of Bombers Cafe up here in Ypsilanti, MI. They even have Cap'n Crunch French Toast. It's a cozy little railroad theme diner. The service is soo friendly, it's no wonder it attracts a lot of regulars. read more

We go here often and the reason is because the food is good and the wait staff are very pleasant. I usually get the Train Wreck - Homemade biscuit, home fries with peppers & onions. Covered in sausage gravy, topped with 2 eggs any style - then add an extra egg ($1.00) and 2 sausage links ($2.50). Really no complaints (even though the extras are a bit steep). Yuck. Super busy and chaotic. Too loud inside on a busy morning and servers scrambling all over making for an overly crowded dining room. Waited over thirty minutes for my breakfast order and the hash browns were over cooked, burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Country fried steak was beyond salty and nearly inedible. Biscuit didn't look so good as it already had specks of jam on it that I didn't put there. Overpriced for what you are served. Awful experience. My mother took me here for my birthday breakfast. Restaurant was packed; waitress did not know the specials. Never received the coffee I asked for; pancakes arrived raw. My mother's meal arrived ten minutes after my re-order, which also never arrived. There was no cream on the table, my mother asked three times for cream, and then drank the coffee black. Waitresses were rude, not bothering to look at the table as they passed by I suppose because we brought to their attention our needs. Amazing that it gets such a good rating! I have eaten here one other time previous to the one depicted here. Food is average at best; not always hot, eggs not cooked to order, and coffee refills are never received. People have such low expectations! read more
