On the first morning of our life in Homosassa, we DoorDashed breakfast for 3 adults (including some extra sides, because we were gol-darned hungry). From the time we hung up, to the time the food arrived at our door was just over 15 minutes. I swear it. Now, I realize this was probably a fluke, but it was the fastest I have EVER received any kind of online/GrubHub/DoorDash-y kind of order. In town for Golf at the World Woods Golf Club in Brooksville. We stopped in for breakfast. The place was a clean and bright restaurant with decorations from the train era. Staff greeted us on arrival, friendly and attentive. Without question, service has been excellent and service with a smile. We have the mixtures of breakfast items; eggs, sausages, bacon, cheese omelet, pancakes and grits. The food was cooked well and of course, with plenty of coffee and refill! This place open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and only serve breakfast and lunch. read more

Do not go to this restaurant. I went with my family, which consists of senior citizens. It was a disaster from the word go. The waitress took our order, and what was brought out was incorrect. When I received my food, I tried to explain to the second waitress that I had a food allergy and the order was incorrect. She yelled and walked away. The first waitress who took the order incorrectly proceeded to bring the order which they claimed was correct. I asked her again if she was sure it was recooked because of my allergic reaction. She proceeded to take the food back to the kitchen to double-check. Then, the OWNER of the establishment came out yelling like a madman. He claimed I was being difficult. I tried to explain when he verbally assaulted us in front of the crowded restaurant. I told him I did not want the food, and he stormed away as if he was going to assault someone. The waitress told me he was the owner and that she was very sorry. Her hands were shaking when we asked for the bill. We paid for the food we did not eat and left. Please do not go to this restaurant where assaulting senior citizens is allowed when all of the employees are at fault. I am not sure if the owner realizes how serious food allergies are. I hope everyone reading this realizes how important our senior population is in Citrus County read more

I would have given 5 stars, but their coffee, a very important factor to one's breakfast, tastes like water and even weaker than the coffee served at Cracker Barrel. I wish they'd serve a coffee you can taste. If that is not important to you, the portions are very generous, and the food is good. Because of the very weak coffee, we won't return. Breakfast was good but I order their "Big C" chef salad to go. It was amazing!! Fresh and DELICIOUS!! Full of meat and cheese in every bite! She asked if I wanted chips.. I thought it would be a bag of regular old potato chips but they were the perfect combination to top the salad and add a nice crunch! I love salads but hate washing, chopping everything!! I have never had a bad meal at one of these restaurants and I've gone to locations in Crystal River, Homosassa, and Brooksville.
