If you're looking for a really delicious pizza - Brenz is the place to get it. We decided to try Brenz last night after we saw that their Rustic Pizza had won first place at the North American Pizza Show (which, who even knew that was a thing?). Let me tell you, I didn't try the other pizzas that competed, but I am not surprised this one was a winner. The Rustic pizza made my mouth so so happy with it's Italian sausage, pepperonis, roasted red peppers, and caramelized oninion-y goodness. Oh, and it's topped with fresh basil. I mean, I'm not sure it gets better than that, people. The crust, for all of you pizza snobs out there, is not super thick and it's not really thin. It's deliciously puffy and crisp. Puffy is a strange way to describe it, but I think it's accurate. Soft and chewy on the inside and golden brown and crisp on the outside. The sauce was good. Sometimes the sauce is the star, sometimes it is Best Supporting Actor. This is the case with Brenz. I *think* there were some little tomato chunks in there - it had great texture. We also ordered cheesy bread sticks. They were good, but I think next time I'd just get more pizza. All of the pizza! It's a fast/casual environment similar to Chipotle or Piada. I was surprised at how fast my pizza was made. The crust was delicious. Kind of a medium crust that was both chewy and crispy....hard to explain but good. The ingredients were some of the freshest I have tasted anywhere, which was the biggest takeaway for me about this place. Another favorite was the pepperoni. They said it was made locally. Finally, the wings were so good. My favorite wing sauce was they barbecue. They were LARGE wings, had a crispness to them and a fair amount of meat!....the perfect combination. I went to order from Brenz and their customer service was beyond excellent. I wanted my pizza delivered and unfortunately I was out of their delivery zone, however they did everything they could to ensure that this was correct. We stopped in today around 4: 00 pm after seeing the very good reviews on Yelp. The gentleman at the counter was very welcoming and helpful. He brought us our appetizer and pizza both in very reasonable times. We had the cheese bread which was good with marinara sauce. While good, it lacked something (possibly parmesan). Now the pizza, it was top notch. We ordered the Traditional that comes with sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. It was very flavorful and I liked the Italian Sausage very much. The sauces was great as well. The deliciousness of he pizza and the friendliness of the staff earned a minimum of four stars. The location was clean but small and there is not a lot of seating. They do have two TVs that were showing a couple of sporting event but it did seem somewhat loud . While they do run the food to you that is the extent of the table service which was fine by us. I would give 4.5 stars if I could and will be definitely be back to try something else. They have a buffalo style pizza and a white pizza that caught my eye. read more

Tried Brenz for the first time today. Ordered delivery through Grubhub on a whim, and was blown away. Pizza was delivered well ahead of the expected time, hot, fresh, and absolutely DELICIOUS. Crispy crust, quality toppings, very high quality pizza. Ordered cinnamon bites as well and it was the best dessert I'd ever had from a pizza place. With so many ways to customize each item on the menu, I honestly loved that they got my order dead-on right. Made my own pizza and got a Greek "side" salad (read: it's big!!). When it arrived I was shocked at how much you get for the price. Great bang for your buck! Got on yelp looking for a good pizza place. I'm sick of all the fast pizza chains and am tired of crap pizza. This place held up to its ratings. The crust is good not too thin and not too thick. I'm personally a thin crust lover but this is a good compromise of the two! They give you quality topping ratios too which is a big thing for me. We ordered three pizzas and one of them was for a vegan friend. All of us loved our pizzas. My boyfriend got a Classic, it was great with a lot of meat. I ordered the heater with goat cheese, it was amazing -- tons of goat cheese and honestly some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. They absolutely didn't skimp on the goat cheese either! My vegan friend got the veggie with no cheese and her pizza actually looked the best and most loaded! It's a little pricy for pizza but you get what you pay for! Yum. AND THEY DELIEVER! There's no shortage of pizza options in Columbus. What sets Brenz apart is customer service. It was my first time in and the guy taking my order showed me the different pizza sizes. He also encouraged me to split pizzas. I ended up going with the heater and tres amigos (their most popular). Both were delicious and different! The ingredients were super fresh! Their pizza is on the doughy side (which I don't mind), but if you're a traditional thin crust lover this might not be the place for you. The inside is nice and modern with 2 tvs tuned to ESPN. We need half ratings. I want to say 3.5. This is an interesting spot, near campus with parking. Nonetheless, the pizza is ok. It could be great but theres some kinks. Service is hit or miss. I've had friendly cashiers, but also ones who seem a bit off or miserable at work. The food is ok. Wings need to be crisper. They're a good size and all, I just want more crunch. The wing sauces are solid. My biggest complaint about the pizza and cheese bread is they dont put enough cheese. I've ordered from here several times and its always the same thing. Multiple spots where theres no cheese. The cheese bread with a glob of cheese in the middle rather than spread across the bread sticks. It shouldn't be hard to notice pizza sauce poking through where you didn't place cheese. The pizza has potential, it's just annoying when you get those corner/edge slices that are purely plain dough because they got no cheese/sauce. read more

This pizza rocks. The whole place rocks. We called to place an order for pick up. The guy was friendly and ordering was easy. We got 14" extra pep and it was the perfect size for two adults and a kid along with a large house salad. We arrived and the place is cool, clean and funky. The pizza was ready early too! When we got home we were very pleased with the quality and taste! In the future we won't order extra pep because it was a lot. And the red pepper flakes were awesome but too much for a kid, so we will leave those off. Overall really impressed with service and the pizza! Will definitely be our new pick up pizza spot! If there was anything lower than 1/5 stars, that's what I would have chosen. My coworker ordered food from this business that was delivered with incorrect items on it. We specifically traded chicken for pork. When management was made aware of this mistake, we were told to "give it to someone else or throw it away"! I love Brenz Pizza but probably will never be back after the crappy service I received today. I live in N. Linden and drive to the Lennox location when I'm feeling a craving. I ordered two individual pizzas and was going to sneak a piece as I was about half way home only to learn that I was given an empty box. Yes I said that, one of my pizzas was not there. I called in to complain only to receive a less than stellar apology and and only a refund on one pizza. I get home and the other pizza had steak on it instead of chicken as per my request.
