Our waitress was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. We took advantage of the corkage option and brought along our own bottle of wine. We even offered her a taste, which she enjoyed, and that little interaction added a nice personal touch to the evening. I started with the wedge salad, which was excellent, and the bleu cheese dressing was absolutely superb. My wife had the Greek salad, and it was equally delicious. For our entrées, I had the steak and my wife chose the shrimp and grits. Both were outstanding--perfectly prepared, flavorful, and honestly over-the-top good. My only disappointment was discovering that the Shrimp Scampi has been removed from the menu. It was always one of my favorite dishes, and I certainly hope they consider bringing it back! We completely understood that we were early and would have been more than happy to wait for a seat to open up. Instead, the receptionist seemed visibly annoyed that we had arrived when we did and spoke to us rather dismissively, suggesting that we go to a bar down the street instead. We ultimately took that suggestion and went elsewhere. We ended up having such a pleasant experience at another restaurant that we decided to stay there for dinner and did not return for our reservation. We weren't expecting to be seated early or accommodated immediately, just a welcoming interaction while we waited.
