Celebrated a special event here. Nice setting, excellent service, but the food was somewhat unremarkable. Started with the chopped salad and steak tartare. Good but not great. Entrees were dry-aged NY Strip and lamb ragu pappardelle. Pasta was cut much wider than normal, almost like a sheet pasta, about 4 inches wide. Would have preferred a thinner cut. Lamb ragu was meh. The steak was very tough and had 20% fat. Usually fat is fine if it adds flavor, but this fat was inedible. Meat was hard to cut and harder to chew. Never had dry-aged beef with this kind of tough texture. Also, not seasoned well - asked sea salt and pepper. Could not finish the steak and didn't even want to take home. Best part of the entree was the asparagus - very fresh and flavorful. Gelato was your basic chocolate ice cream from the grocery store. But the cannolis were great. Horrible dining experience. Server was terrible and unbelievably condescending. He did his extended unnecessary speech of the menu and spoke to us like we were children. He double questioned my order of Macallan 18 scotch and reiterated the price as if I couldn't read the menu. He literally said "but its $58?!?" lol The dining experience alone completely overshadowed our ability to enjoy our food. We decided to dine @ Brezza a beautiful new restaurant @ The Resorts World complex where Crockford's was treating us like high roller VIP Guests as Hilton Diamonds.The Hotel itself exceeded our expectations and won us over. We arrived early to Brezza to a somewhat empty restaurant at dinner I could see we didn't get the warmest welcome from either the host stand or the sever who despite our lack of bonding remained professional though distant. I know that because we don't drink alcohol that can prejudice some servers against you especially when slow. (Opening Act) The bread in both of our opinions appeared visually burnt. It tasted like soot from a chimney. Don't mind some nice char on a good crust.Sad After inquiring we were advised they had run out of bread and were using something else temporarily and others like it that way. I've had had better bread on an airplane and in my freezer that's months old from premium bakeries.Great bread is a must for fine dining (Entrees/Mains) The chicken looked beautiful in the photos I asked if we could substitute the turnip puree for something else and was told that's the way it comes take it or leave it Ok back to the server we will try it your chefs way if management chefs insist. In full disclosure I dislike most brined chicken .A number of notable celebrity chefs have apologized for putting brined products on their menus in the past. Now over the past years it's the Sous Vide trend. Another one I wish would go away. Ok subjective I get it. Brining properly prepared can overcome bad execution by staying moist even if the line cooks of chef cooks overcook it. Brining has two major flaws first it makes everything over salty and second it changes the texture dramatically to something that no longer tastes like chicken.Thats if its made correctly This chicken suffered from far worse it was dry, tough salty ,chewy and old def not prepared to order that evening likely reheated and or overcooked It takes a lot to mess up brined chicken and neither of us enjoyed it. To their credit they were kind to take it back and no manager came by at any time during our dining experience for the record. The pastas were fine The Aglio and Bolognese I could see myself returning for them but unfortunately we didn't feel welcome and I would truly rather go to Carbone where I am excited to dine every time and they accommodate almost any request as their pleasure as a regular. We left and went to Brera Osteria @ The Venetian (also a first time visit) to finish dinner and we were wowed with exceptional wood oven baked pizza, pasta and grilled jumbo shrimps and welcoming kind gracious efficient service. I'm looking forward to returning there with my guests again next week and excited to try other dishes. I believe Brezza has great potential despite a disappointing limited evening there. The talent partially comes through even with the failures in places Unfortunately they have work to do and I cannot recommend the place at present until they work on what we perceive as some of the potential issues. Las Vegas is no place to enter without an oiled act with some of the most competitive restaurant options in the country for diners that keeps expanding.That said they may have some other stars on the menu perhaps we ordered wrong Love coming to this city for that reason. We were a party of four on a Saturday night. We were seated on time. Don't drink the water. It tasted horrible. We had to get bottled water which the waiter opened bottle after bottle when previous bottles weren't finished. Our group enjoyed the heirloom tomato salad and the charred octopus. Everyone liked the bucatini. Two in our group ordered the night's special, black truffles and linguini. Although all the pasta was well prepared, the black truffles had little or no taste and the serving was small compared to other restaurants. We also ordered the bone-in ribeye...we were told to order it medium if we wanted it medium rare. Does that make sense? Medium rare should be medium rare, right? The professional chef should be able to alter his cooking time to the thickness and cut of the steak. The bone-in was okay. Not great. Lots of grizzle and fat. Lastly, the dinner took forever. Our server did not do a great job at figuring our when to bring out food and balance out the courses. Although we all had two courses, he spaced it out over three times, meaning that for a majority of the meal, two people were watching two people eat. The time between our pasta and the steak was close to 40 minutes. Why, we have no idea. We just kept being told that it was coming soon. The whole meal took almost three hours. read more

The butter is kinda good.. we ordered everything at the same time the appetizer and 2 pastas at the same time at 6pm, then our calamari came at 6:25pm then the pastas came at 6:45 then we finish at 7pm ask for the check and he gave us the check at 7:20pm! The servers timing is so off that i notice the lady from the host stand wearing a red dress this evening took the order of the 2 getlmen behind us cause the server is so slow he only have 4 tables and it doesnt look that busy all this happened at 11/10/21. The food was exceptional. The calamari was yummy, not rubbery, and the mascarpone mashed potatoes with poached egg were to die for. My partner had the beef ravioli and he loved them. We also had the prosciutto which was delish, and we both fell in love with the little bread pillows that came with it. Our cocktails were mixed to perfection, not too weak but also not too strong. We knew of Chef Nicole from her time at Locale in Mountains Edge which we would eat at religiously. When we heard she was the new executive chef at Brezza, we immediately made reservations. Really disappointed in Brezza, but still giving three stars because I hope they are working out the "opening kinks". My husband and I are "foodies" and normally spend between $200-$400 on our date night dinners so our expectations are high but had high hopes for this restaurant. The good: The hostesses were extremely friendly and professional and their wine list for reds was fantastic, a bit lacking on whites for being an Italian restaurant but what was there was great options. But here's the issues: 1. At this price point, the waiter should be walking you through the menu and giving a few suggestions. I had to ask twice how the menu was meant to be read and how it was intended to be served. I also had to ask twice for the bottle list to order a bottle of wine. 2. When asking questions about a $100+ steak...have some information don't just say it's really good. 3. When our appetizer did finally come out, the food runner just dropped it off. No explanation of what was on the board or any guidance to how the chef intended it. 4. My husband ordered a high end whiskey double on the rocks. A bartender brought it out in two glasses...things happen I get it. But the bartender proceed to get frustrated and then explain that the ticket was done wrong...we were nice enough to say we'll take it when he finishes his first drink and he just sat it down and walked off. Now there's a $40 dollar cocktail with melting ice on the table...that we're charged for. After that it took another 20 mins to get the next course...which was okay but nothing impressive. After waiting another 20 and asking where the food was and being promised it was soon we ended up canceling and requesting our check. 5. What food we did have was unimpressive, Salumi board was basic and something I could pick up at any Italian grocery. The corn carbonara while good and had a good amount of crab was really under seasoned. We never made it to our steak and lobster but I sadly don't have much hope there either. I will give credit to the manager who graciously apologized and took care of the bill without us requesting to be comped. I don't think we'll return for sometime but hopefully they will get their staff trained properly. read more

Well deserved 5 star review for my dining experience. I came in for lunch. The decor in here was pretty nice. I definitely like how they have a tuscan atmosphere with their brick wall. The tables are marble which in my opinion go very well with the overall ambiance of the resort. My server MARTIN was EXCELLENT. He was very accommodating to my party and was extremely insightful when describing dishes. Very attentive and 10/10 service from him. My steak was cooked very well. I had it medium well and they executed it to perfection. Many places can't perform medium well with a delicious taste but Breda did. The tiramisu was super satisfying. Light espresso touch that just melts upon taste. The inner layer of the tiramisu has a heavier flavor which was awesome! The one thing that was not up to par was my appetizer, the arugula and corn. This will suit a personality who adores food and would like to have a gastronomic experience. First we chose our Italian wine. To be safe , we had a light Chardonnay . Next, make sure to ask the knowledgeable waitstaff what they have prepared for the day. The hand tossed pasta, the squid ? It'll take forever to be served until the final tomahawk steak comes to light but isn't that what fine dining is all about. The changing of the plates per course. The proper utensils served by the ever respectful waitstaff. The kitchen which is the center of the whole restaurant ... obviously each meal is made from scratch. There's lots of time to talk and share wine and laugh and celebrate. Then the final dessert . Tiramisu to a perfection. Shared of course as if there was space left . Our first meetup for the LVFoodNV Squad was at Brezza for Brunch! Our Squad had a great time! :) Leilani, the Director of Operations was very helpful in getting us in contact with her event manager when we first reached out to Brezza. Zoe, the event manager helped us out a lot leading up to our meetup. Even with the hiccups we had she still had a positive attitude in her email correspondence with me. Brendan, the operations manager greeted us at the door of the restaurant the day of. His staff was very accommodating as well when we asked to be sat in the patio (it was a very nice day) instead of inside the restaurant. Min, was our server (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He was top notch with service as well and even with our large group did not mind having separate checks (we made sure to let him know before hand that this was happening not at the end of our meal). The Squad enjoyed their delicious cocktails and the food. The staff let us know that the produce and meats are all hand selected by the chef herself. She makes sure that all the ingredients that go into each meal are fresh. Some of the favorites were the cod-potato cake and the milanesa sandwich! I loved Sprittza cocktail, it was very refreshing as well as dangerous because of how good it was! Definitely recommend it! I would definitely recommend coming here especially now that the weather isn't as hot since you can enjoy your food in there patio. Brezza was the standout meal of our last Vegas trip. The staff was very helpful and the food was very memorable. Standouts were the Caesar salad, butternut squash ravioli, and the bread. A fairly typical restaurant for Vegas emphasizing high cost, moderate to good quality food choices aimed at expense accounts and high rollers. My recent visit started with the basics of suggestions for salads and pasta options with the fast response that I should only consider grill choices - way to up sell at the same time as saying I won't want the pasta. Ignoring the upsell, I decided to only order the Caesar salad. The salad was good, but showed up in seconds after ordering - popular option ready made and waiting. It is a very busy salad, not bad but definitely prepared ahead, which was a negative for the price point. I wanted a little more and was recommended the fried artichoke - this was fantastic! Crunchy, fresh artichoke, a sauce buried underneath but very tasty. I'd recommend it for someone who wants calamari crunch but make it veggie. The aggressive upsell while torpedoing the pasta choices definitely was a negative. Good otherwise really just okay. Net 3 stars. There are better restaurants and better Italian choices in Vegas. read more

Brezza is AMAZING. I ate there last night, and we had a little bit of everything. The standouts for me were the grilled octopus -- which was so tender and perfectly cooked that it tasted and felt almost like pork belly -- and the beef cheek ravioli, which can best be described as "meat butter." The steak florentine was as amazing as expected, and the tiramisu dessert was a standout. Among the desserts, though, the citrus panna cotta might be my favorite. It was so light and refreshing and summery -- and it also had some unexpected twists and flavors like the basil gelee. Definitely recommend! read more
