    Cheeseburger - happy hour
    Miller G.

Love this brewery. Great local spot and one of the few places to get some quality drinks and food in Jefferson Park. I ordered off the happy hour menu - which I would recommend - I think they have a great happy hour. Got the chicken slider, burger, and a beer. The chicken slider was good - toppings were a nice touch and elevated it. Light breading, and juicy. The burger was great - nothing over the top - just a solid cheeseburger with a good sauce, and potato chips to go with it. I have had good experiences here, and love the rooftop too. Will definitely return and recommend if you're in the area looking for a drink or quick bite. Does get quite busy, especially when there are events at Mile High so be prepared - not many other spots in that area on that side of the stadium

This is my second visit to this place so I feel like I need to review it. Sat at the bar with a friend and we each decided on a beer to start. We ordered the Rosemary fries which were very crispy and fresh do they did not last long. The bartender was very nice and was very attentive. I decided on the wings and my friend ordered a spicy burger. I got a full order of wings and they come out with lots of celery carrot which I love. I always get dry rub and sauce on the side so I can control the mess and the sauce. My friend's burger looked fantastic and it came with homemade chips which, were some of the best I've ever had! Their beer list is many and what I had I enjoyed. They also have a list of cocktails and wine. There's outdoor seating at ground level and a roof that has tables and a bar. I will return to try some of the other things that caught my eye.

We came to Briar Common the day after moving to Denver, and it ended up being exactly the kind of spot we needed after a long weekend of hauling boxes and settling in. Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.

Date night with another couple and were excited to try Briar Common Brewery. First - super cool building. Love the vibes, the interior decor and second floor + outdoor patio options. We didn't take advantage of the patio vibes or rooftop deck with a fire pit, but this is still on our list! While waiting for a table, we cozied up to the bar and ordered drinks. One of the bartenders noticed I ordered the hibiscus margarita and asked me, offhandedly, if I was a fan of spice. Yes, please. With that, he cancelled my order and made me something "not on the menu" but what I called the "Patrick special." So good. Thanks, sir! We ordered burgers and shared their buffalo cauliflower starter. This, my friend, was absolutely amazing. Loved the buffalo spice paired with the bleu cheese. Easy way to enjoy some veggies. And along the same theme, I ordered the Buff and Bleu burger. This was so good, so flavorful and so messy. Don't judge me, but I resorted to using my fork, lol! It was so well balanced. Will have again. Parking here means street parking, but there were plenty of open spots on a Saturday night. The walk was nice. We can't wait to return, maybe on a game day, or maybe to enjoy Sunday brunch on the rooftop. Maybe a sunset for another date night. With this level of yumminess, the possibilities are endless.

Nice outdoor seating and tasty meal. Service was okay, nothing special. The food was great after stepping off a plane. Not a great view, but the food made up for it. Brussels sprouts were amazing.

Walked in solo on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar, asked for a to go order, placed the order, was given a tab. Slightly greeted, never asked if I wanted something to drink. I would have ordered an adult beverage. Get home with my turkey club with no tomato....sans bacon. A club sandwich that's supposed to have bacon....with no bacon? This was the saddest sandwich I've ever seen.

Great spot tucked right into the neighborhood. As much as Denver has grown this place looks and feels like what I knew from nearly 20+ years ago. The staff is down to earth and welcoming. Even though we came on a slower night it just felt good as the restaurant was slowly filling up. I ordered the Pub Nachos but silly me I forgot to add a protein. My bad but I would certainly return to do just that and spend some time hanging out a bit. The nachos were good as is and the homemade chips had the texture of plantains but not really. tough to describe but overall I would certainly order them again. Would recommend this place and would even try the other dishes too. We were in a bit of a crunch due to the Avs playing and getting to the Can but next time I'll have to spend a little more extra time to soak up the vibe!

Our group from different states enjoyed early tailgating at this establishment. We arrived before opening and the folks in line were very friendly. Once the doors opened we walked in and took the stairs for outdoor deck seating. Beautiful day and locally brewed beverages gave everyone a break before walking to the stadium. The kitchen menu had some great options but the delivery schedule to the tables did not allow us to try the buffalo cauliflower!!! Post game we returned here to sample more beverages while the traffic floweee out of the stadium. We then Uber'd back into town for our hotel Very friendly place !!

Server was great and gave us a good suggestion to share the steak sandwich and poke salad since we wanted to try both and were unsure of what to order. Poke salad was very fresh and tasted amazing. I always get nervous with poke salads after having some bad protein at different restaurants in the past, but this one was really good, fresh and delicious. Don't be afraid to try it!!! Drinks: The Freckled Rhu-Barbie is really good!!! One in a Melon is good, but I'd take the Freckled Rhu-Barbie instead. Mid day on a Tuesday afternoon - this place was mellow. There were people but it was a very chill atmosphere.

I hate to leave bad reviews but unfortunately this place just completely missed the mark for me. Prior to our reservation, I tried calling 10+ times through the day (during business hours) because we needed to update our reservation. However, no one answered the phone once. Other people in the reservation even tried calling in case it was my phone that was the issue but it was not. Once we arrived, staff were very kind and attentive to our table which was very appreciated. I have nothing but kind words to say about the staff. However, I ordered the Mac n cheese which came out practically like soup. The sauce was very liquidy so I felt like I was drinking my Mac. Unfortunately, I did not eat much because of this. The sweet potato fries were delicious especially with the cinnamon on them. My friends ordered burgers and enjoyed their meals. Overall, the restaurant had a cool vibe to it and the drinks were great. I just wish we were able to have our phone calls answered to update the reservations and I wish the Mac n cheese was less soupy!

    Lost Summer Days Sangria

Wanted a nice, relaxing meal when we arrived to Denver, and Briar Common checked all the boxes! We sat in their outdoor patio, which kept us shaded from the heat and had a nice breeze with a view of the park. Plus, they allow dogs on their patio. Always a bonus! So many delicious options. After looking it up, we knew we had to try their Buffalo Cauliflower. And oh my god - the reviews didn't lie but still somehow undersold this cauliflower. Perfectly crisp and smothered in a creamy buffalo sauce. We got it as an appetizer to share for the table, but it would've been just as good as a meal as well. Their Filet o Beer sandwich was also tasty, and I found myself really enjoying the fries, too. Not often do you enjoy both, but here that was the case. Great drink, options. Their Lost Summer Days Sangria was delicious. They also make a good espresso martini. Fan of Earl Grey? Then you'll love their Fade to Black - always a rarity to find Early Grey-flavored drinks, but they crafted this so well. Service was incredible. Wish I remembered her name, but our server was fantastic. I mis-ordered a drink, but didn't say anything because it was my fault. She heard me mention it, though, and offered to make a new one. So sweet! Parking wasn't too bad - we found street parking right across the street. I'd imagine it would be a bit harder to find parking when it's busy, though - we visited mid afternoon during the week. Overall, a great choice for lunch or a drink out with friends. Highly recommend!

My last bite before flying out and it was perfect - light yet filling and delicious ! Parking: There's street parking in the area. There were a lot of signs about times you could park there, which was confusing ... Seating/ space: There's space was cute and had a casual but nice vibe. There were regular tables, high tops, and bar seating . There was an upstairs as well but I don't think it was open. There seemed to be a patio also Service: The service was great. Everyone was nice and upbeat. The timing of when they came by was perfect too Food: The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! My friend had the burger which they loved. I had the poke bowl salad which was absolutely refreshing and delicious !

    Mark S.

Everything here was solid, but nothing was mind-blowing. The Buffalo Cauliflower was very good, and the blue cheese sauce was nice and creamy with just a hint of the blue cheese tang without it being overpowering. The Brussels sprouts were yummy, Briar Burger very good and the melty egg was a great touch. Only issues (and no deal-breakers, just minor complaints) were the Rosemary Fries needed *lots* more rosemary, and the service was... not slow, but, lackidaisical is probably the best word. Definitely would come back, though. Lots of stuff on the menu sounded really good and overall the food was quite good.

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

It was just blah for lack of a better word. You're probably better off ordering steak because they do a decent job with that. The service is great but for the price, this place is overrated.

An absolutely insane experience…read more The flavor, quality, story, hospitality and attention to detail. All of it was so fantastic. From start to finish, it was such a special night. I can't even put it into words. It was magical. Foods I never thought I'd enjoy nor have ever tried before were sending me into another world. The service and story is unmatched. What a dream of a night it was to experience The Wolf's Tailor.

We were so excited for this, but SHEEP was incredibly disappointing. The "main" portions were very small (2 small-ish prawns as a main) in a 4-course menu. None of the dishes were standout. I thought the tomato starter was interesting; my husband said the bread was the best course :/ . Dessert was really weird - beautiful, but it had such an off-putting taste. I only ate a few bites and the rest was trashed, untouched. (Same with most of the prawn dish.) One was the biggest issues was that service was lacking overall. No one checked for dietary restrictions or allergies at the start of the meal, which definitely should have been done. After the starters, service got very slow (without anyone coming to explain the delay) and silverware sat uncleared between the main and dessert course. It was difficult to hear the explanations of each course and the server, though friendly, quickly ran through a laundry list of ingredients and sometimes seemed to struggle to remember all of them. After the first course, I'd also asked for flowers to be left off future dishes (though beautiful, it was a dietary restriction that I needed followed), but the prawns came coated in blossoms, so we barely had any of that dish. No one explained until it was cleared that they were chive blossoms. I'll also note the flower garnish is present in every dish and prominent in many dishes, and not included on the menu. After all of this, a hefty bill arrived with a mandatory 22% tip and a service fee for dining on the rooftop, where the restaurant is located. Really disappointed. The experience has put this once-longtime fan off this restaurant group.

Outside, there appeared to be some construction going on where there'd be outdoor seating, but it was too hot anyway so we wandered on in. It wasn't busy when we arrived, 1 party visible (later I realized there was another section with customers.) Cute decor with plenty of seating. Our server immediately greeted us and seated us right away. The brunch menu wasn't too overwhelming and she went over the specials. Ultimately, we ordered the following: Artichoke tortelloni Eric's bao-nuts Gabe's chronic chicken salad sandwich Rioja Benedict Colorado lamb burger From beginning to end, all the dishes were exceptional! Everyone loved their meal! The artichoke tortelloni was enough as an appetizer for a party of 4. Apparently, we ordered a "desert" with the Eric's bao-nuts to start everything off. This in itself was so good, I'd go back just for this if I had the chance. I personally had the colorado lamb burger. I generally tend to eat light and don't finish my meals in one sitting. This definitely wasn't the case. The presentation for the burger caught my attention as well. We were so happy with our meals that we decided to get a "2nd desert", the flourless fudge torte. Man, I'm impressed. Chocolate was not too rich or sweet, loved the cherry compote. This is was a winner! Overall, it was a great lunch dining experience to start off my mother's birthday. The service, presentation and food were on point! I'll be back in the future to try out their dinner menu. Thanks Rioja!

Drew was a great server, very attentive and made great recommendations for a solo diner. I enjoyed a glass of Grenache rose and the half portion of Goat Cheese Gnudi. The Gnudi were the fluffiest pillows of yum and the lamb ragù made it the perfect amount of filling for a late evening meal.
