My hair stylist just moved in next door to this cozy coffee shop. She recommended I grab a cup while I was up there (I drive over an hour to see this stylist) so I did! And I was definitely not disappointed! This quaint little building was so welcoming. I received a "hello" from all 3 people working, smiles from them all, and recommendations from them as well. I ordered my stylist her usual (see the photo for the latte art!). I ordered their Cafe Meil and it was delicious. The honey flavor wasn't overpowering yet you could taste it. The cinnamon flavor warmed my throat but in a good way. The drink has an almost butterscotchy flavor like those little hard candies my Nana used to have. I will definitely be back for coffee from this little shop. And next time, I'll grab better photos! read more

Great location and decent amount of seating. Menu consists of the usuals you'd expect at a coffee shop. I came for the cinnamon roll. The frosting looked absolutely delicious. I was worried that they kept them cold as I was thinking this would cause them to be hard and dry. Unfortunately I was correct in my assumption because the roll was terrible. I loved the cream cheese frosting I'm sure that's homemade but the roll just ruined it. Also didn't have much cinnamon, I think they should serve them warm but that's just me. Old timers will might remember it as part of the Hallmark store way back in the day. * Hours are somewhat limited, as they are currently only opened from 7 am - 1 pm *They usually offer a gluten free baked good. It seems to vary on the day, the banana bread and muffin weren't actually that bad. They were flavorful, moist, and held their consistency, which can be a challenge with GF baked goods. * Nice large seating area with multiple tables. Post covid, I could see coming in an working remotely for an hour or two to just get out of the house * Wifi is available * Milk options are a bit unique, especially for non-dairy. Non-dairy options are Coconut and Oat Milk. *** Surprisingly the Oat milk is GF, which is both rare and great. * They have setup a loyalty program, purchase 10 drinks, get one free. Just enter your phone number at the cash register. * If you only drink Starbucks, you might find the coffee a bit bitter. While the cup sizes are smaller, I find I can make my drink last much longer due to the strength and heaviness than a cup of watered down mass produced crap. Brickhouse is a welcomed cozy spot in a sea of generic Starbucks. Don't get me wrong, you'll see me in the drive through of a Bux on the way to work, but its so nice to have a local coffee shop with a cozy seating area to nestle in and chat. Brickhouse is just that! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly. Be warned, their coffee is STRONG! They have the standard syrups - vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, but they also have seasonal specialty drinks. My husband and I visited this weekend to try the Spring drinks they just launched - orange blossom salted mocha latte, and honey rosewater latte. Both were excellent! I said let's give it a try!! I enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of super sweet so it was the perfect sweetness to me...just a hint. I would definitely order this again so I hope it's not a seasonal flavor. Super spacious coffee shop with a lot of seating. When I went, we were the only customer so we're able to take our time deciding what we wanted to drink. I went for their seasonal hazelnut and cinnamon latte and my husband ordered the triple b caramel latte. Both drinks were very good. The triple b caramel latte has bourbon barrel aged espresso shots, so it was definitely a nice twist to a latte. The parking lot was incredibly icy and slick. I thought it was worth noting that a young mom came in carrying her young child and must have ordered two coffees. But because it was so slick, the barista walked the coffee out to her car with her because she was holding her child and she wanted her to be safe. I thought that was a super nice gesture. read more

People of few words. They were super nice. The seating is nice. They have a surfboard (it's not a real surfboard, it's what I have always called long table bars on windows.), longer tables for groups, and comfy chairs along the edge. The place is pretty unassuming. You have Kroger down the way and a martial arts studio next door. True to their name, their building has a brick facade. They roast their own beans, and you can really fanboy over them if you want. A great local business to support. I ordered a Mocha Chip for $6, maybe 16 oz. It was solid. This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots that happens to be located in a strip mall adjacent to Kroger. Lucky for me, it's really close to home and convenient. I've been here twice so far and had excellent service both times. The food highlights for me are the banana bread and the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. The banana bread is moist and so perfectly flavored. You really can't go wrong with any of the coffe drinks. Huge bonus, they have a wide array of flavored syrups and seasonal flavors for your drinks which gives them the opportunity to create interesting items like the Old Fashioned inspired iced espresso I enjoyed on this visit. When we heard the Greenwood shop was closed, we were so disappointed. The news of them still roasting locally was one reprieve. I have a brother in Greenwood and this was our meeting spot. Now I find out they are just a few miles from my daughter's house (I go there way more often) and this brought about much excitement! This place is really big. I don't think I've ever been in a coffee shop this big before, and I've been to a lot. Tons of seating indoors, plus seating on the sidewalk outdoors. I have quickly become a regular at Brickhouse Coffee. From the moment you enter, there is a sense of calm and the wonderful scent of coffee. There are great seating options and plenty of electric outlets for working/meetings. It's not too noisy or overwhelming, even during busy hours, like some coffee spots can be. The baristas are friendly and care about their craft. I LOVE Rachel and Natalie. Rachel has made me lots of fun, delicious concoctions. They have dairy and gluten free chocolate chip banana bread that is so moist and perfect! I love the shaken espressos and lattes. It's cool to see the in shop roaster and the coffee has a distinct flavor that's unlike anything else. My #1 coffee spot forever! read more
