This was such a lovely café experience. I really enjoyed being able to show up, find a quirky place with cool architecture, including a spiral staircase. It's been forever since I've seen carpeted stairs. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the breakfast and pastry options, and to find a black sesame latte that was very heavy on the sesame was so enjoyable. I personally enjoyed getting a birds iview of a café by sitting upstairs and there's plenty of seating with good Wi-Fi, and access to electrical outlets. I think this is a nice place to study. I would say that the breakfast bowl was maybe a three out of five, and the gluten-free options are a little bit limited, but I really did enjoy that gluten-free sesame bun. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place especially if you do not have any dietary restrictions.

Bricks and Scones is just wonderful for breakfast or lunch. They don't only have scones, but they do have a great selection of them. They are all made fresh and are never stale. They are some of the best. I love the thickness of them. Add a little butter or not, and you will be in scone heaven. They also have a super menu. We love their breakfast burrito and their eggs benedict. Their avocado toast is perfect and you will love their bagel sandwiches. They are made on great bagels. They also have wonderful sandwiches. We love their turkey sandwiches and their turkey mozzarella pesto sandwich is packed with flavor. They also have good salads, like their mango curry chicken salad and their regular house salad. It is all super fresh and crispy. Their prices are a tad high, but worth it for the best ingredients. They have great coffee and any of their sweet items are really good. The place is very comfortable and cute. It is within walking distance to a few nice places and it is just a nice place to walk. The service is very nice. It can get crowded and I don't think they take reservations, but the wait is worth it. The service is fast and very friendly. You can sit inside or our or get it to go. I bet they also deliver, but I have never done that.

I come here often when I'm in the area and every time is a nice experience. It's a cozy little coffee shop with the old school coffee house vibes with unique decor, an inviting space to read or do work. There's no rush to leave because there's lots of space including a decent size patio, a large inside area with room on the second level. The service is good and the food is delicious. Nothing special or spectacular about the food but the coffee is on point.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the breakfast burrito. It was mediocre at best, and charging extra for salsa felt like nickel-and-diming for something that should come with it. The coffee was the best part of the experience, so if you stop by, I'd recommend sticking to that

I'm part of the minority who loves scones lol so I was excited to try a cafe that specializes in it. I mean it's in the name so it has to be good! Lol. Sadly, the scones were very dry & bland. Pistachio Scone - Just a plain scone with pistachio chunks in it. I was hoping it the scone itself would also be pistachio flavored. Matcha White Chocolate Scone - The matcha flavor was nice, not too overwhelming or bitter. Again, scone was dry. Tiramisu Cream Latte - This was decent. Generous size. Not enough tiramisu flavor.

Walked in menu is above you . Lots of cool items . Pastry case looks lovely ! Lemon muffin or scone looked delicious! Lots of options to choose from fairly priced ! Breakfast sandwich Los looked good comes with side salad ! I went with avocado toast ten bucks easy basic creamy avocado with tomato and finished with basil leaf that adds to the yum for sure . Tasty !!

This place is absolutely fantastic and I don't know why I've never been here before especially because it is right next to my dogs' vet. The place itself is pretty cute and has a serene outdoor area where we sat. We brought our laptops to get some work done and I noticed they had extension cords even outside scattered throughout in case we needed to charge our electronics. I ordered an iced earl grey tea latte and my friend ordered a matcha latte to drink. My friend's matcha latte was fantastic but my earl grey latte (and the reason why I had to knock down a star because it is a coffee shop after all) was that it was absolutely horrible. They didn't steep the tea enough and I barely tasted the tea because it tasted like water with a splash of milk. The redeeming factor was the food. I ordered a breakfast burrito (less of a burrito and more of a healthier wrap) was absolutely fantastic. I chose turkey for the protein and asked them to add avocado and omit the beans. It came with a salad with a delicious ginger-y dressing and the salsa it came with was refreshing and clean. I would for sure come back here again. The one thing that was an absolute turn-off but in no way is the establishment's fault was that there was an older guy that took up a table of 4 by himself on his phone with his volume on max for at least half an hour and watching videos which was extremely disrespectful for everyone else and annoying/distracting. There was also another guy on the opposite side right next to us that was sitting with two other people and they were being obnoxiously loud and having a conversation as if they were the only ones there. I wish people would learn to be more respectful of their space and other people. What a shame.

I don't know where my original pictures went so I will repost and add my latest one of the crossaint panini sandwich which was ever better than the other one I had last time. I did want to add if you want quiet it's a much better to go sit inside than outside. Some people can get kind of loud sometimes and last time there was a guy on his phone by himself just watching loud reels on his phone Service was still good and I would still come back bc it's a cute spot and most days the customers are a little more mindful.

This place is so cute when you go inside! It's a bit hard to find from the outside but if you find their little courtyard you're in the right spot. I got a large and I mean LARGE latte. Big enough to require both hands to drink. Coffee was strong and the dairy ratio was perfect. I also got two scones to try: I got the cheddar and green onion (if I remember correctly) for a savory option and the matcha white chocolate for sweet. I LOVED the cheddar one! It was perfectly soft and moist, not at all dry like some scones could be. Not too salty like other cheese scones. The Matcha one I could do without. It was drier and didn't really have much of a distinct flavor in my opinion. Lots of seating with plenty of outlets for people to work. Fast wifi! People seem to be doing much of this so the space is fairly quiet. The upstairs does feel like it could use a bit of renovating but you could argue that it adds to the charm of the place. Metered parking nearby or free neighborhood parking if you just walk about a block behind the establishment.

Very cute spot! The drinks were tasty and the service was friendly and prompt. The ambiance was EXTREMELY strong; seems like a perfect place to come to meet someone or just for sitting solo. Definitely would return.

Great spot for getting some studying and needed work done. I had to pay for metered parking at the street though because the small 'lot' in the back is really enough for a couple of cars max because the other spots are reserved for tenants. There's a good amount of chatter going on inside but it's not entirely loud. The lighting is dim and comfortable, and isn't too bright. There's beautiful outdoor seating in the front and back of this cafe. The smoothie I got was pretty delicious and the large size was also reasonable for the price. The pastries in the display case look absolutely delicious and I enjoyed a few bites of their blueberry muffin. The lady that took our order didn't really chat with us much and just took our orders, but I appreciate her for making note of my girlfriend's nut allergens. The drinks can be substituted with oat milk or almond milk. My girlfriend found her large caramel latte to be very smooth, milky, and super big! The coffee was pretty subtle and sweet to her. Outlets for personal devices located in the wall, with very comfortable and padded seats. Good for group hangouts too because there are large wooden bench-style tables. Bathrooms are small but not in bad condition. Noticed someone bring their pet dog inside too!!! PS: Their free wifi and pass is printed out on the receipt when you order!!! I had a strong connection throughout my stay here

If a cafe can be a happy place, this is my happy place. From the coffee, to the food, to the varied seating options, everything about Bricks & Scones is wonderful. I only recently discovered it but have come numerous times over the last few months as I was finishing a big project. I've sat here for hours at a time: getting more coffee, moving inside or outside, and enjoying the space while working. There's a unique vibe - it's both communal and independent at the same time. If you want to chat with people around you, that feels like an option. If you want to keep to yourself, you can do that too. Each time I'm there, I've encountered the same shared calm energy that you don't always get at a cafe in a big city.

This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. There were endless selection of salt bread and different flavoured buns which all looked delicious. As we were browsing and deciding, the lady at the counter was kind enough to offer us a sample of the butter rice cake. The butter tteok tasted pretty good on the spot so we bought a pack of 5 back home along with a hot and spicy salt bread and corn soboro. The butter rice cakes were already cold and hard when we got home, the inside was dense and chewy in a bad way. I didn't want them to go to waste so I tried reheating them in the over for a few minutes. It was warm but the texture never recovered, everything just got more dense and hard. The hot and spicy salt bread looked like a winner, but when we bit into it, the bread was just crunchy and overly buttery without a lot of flavour. The inside did not have the soft pillowy texture you'd expect from salt bread. The filling was a budget hot dog and some corn mixed with mayo. We cut the bread in half and my boyfriend said his piece had way too much mayo and mine barely had any. I grabbed the corn soboro thinking it would be delicious since it was corn season but was the most disappointed by it. I reheated the bread again to get the cookie top to crisp up. The soboro top didn't have a lot of crunch or flavour, it was just a layer of sweetness with no texture. The corn cream filling was not good, the corn was dehydrated and had no flavour at all. It honestly tasted a bit like canned corn that's over baked, I ended up scooping it out because the bread was better without it. Maybe it's better to go earlier when the baked goods are fresh and eat it there instead of taking it home.
