This was my second time coming to this comedy club, and it wasn't until I checked in on Yelp that I felt compelled to leave a review. Both times, the staff has been attentive, friendly, prompt, and we have had two great experiences. I only review now because I was shocked at how many negative reviews have come out. I think this is an absolute standout location for Oklahoma City to have relevant comedians in an intimate and central location. I'm happy to support this business. There were a lot of oddball reviews I read, to each their own. This comedy club has been a wonderful "date night" with my wife both times, and I recommend it. If you're looking for a dinner experience with bottle service, it's a comedy club. They do have some tasty snacks and serve fantastic whiskey mules. Check them out. read more

Firstly, there are a few rules you should know before having date night here such as no talking or phone use during performances, there is a two item minimum for every patron, a 18% gratuity will be added to your check, and if you leave you cannot come back. These rules are communicated on the walls, in your confirmation email, and before the show. The club has a strong piss/beer smell in the entry way that was off putting but it wasn't as strong in the seating area. The seats are close together, which creates an intimate yet focused show. The food is pricey but it was pretty good. The waitstaff were efficient and nice. The comics were funny and had a range of comedy styles. I had never been to the club before and not in this location--I think it used to be along the canal? At any rate, the venue is large but cozy with ample parking and easy highway access. Service was slow but you could go to the bar and get your own, so there's that. This was our first visit to Bricktown Comedy Cub, but it will not be our last. First off, it was very easy to buy tickets off their website. I was a little irritated by the convenience fee that they add at checkout to every single ticket. I think it would be much more transparent to include that in the cost of their tickets, rather than adding it on at the end. We also purchased their Emerald package, which gave each of us an appetizer and two drinks and fulfills the two-item minimum per person PLUS gratuity is included. All three performers were top-notch. Service was a little slow and I honestly didn't think I was going to get my second Guinness before the show was over, but it all worked out. This is a classy establishment. It is smoke-free. We were in OKC over Easter weekend, and saw that Shawn Wayans was at the comedy club, so we checked it out. Security was carding everyone and stamping hands. They were all courteous and respectful, and kept things moving. I appreciated that. The staff inside did a good job keeping up, as it was a sellout crowd. They have a two menu item minimum that you have to purchase. They have a food and drink menu to choose your items from, which is limited in my opinion. They also add on an 18% gratuity to your bill. We didn't eat anything, but opted for beers instead. I thought the prices for everything were fair. My only complaint was that it was a bit cramped. The staff are friendly, practical and are strategically systematic with orders. Clean environment, even the bathrooms. Decent drink menu! I had a small popcorn, so I can't really speak to food quality, however, a small popcorn, one alcoholic drink, and one water cost $35-40. Waited 45 minutes to get served went to ask for a server and was kicked out. The door staff came and told us we had to leave because we were being rude to their staff. As an owner of two hospitality businesses I would never mistreat someone that is wait staff. The door person then turned around and told me they're short staffed. So their lack of planning and management became my issue and I was removed for asking for a server. Our entire area had never even been served 45 minutes into the show. They herd you in there turn off the lights and you don't get service. Paid extra for the emerald package and all. Was charged $131 just to be kicked out for ZERO reason. After reading their policy. First, they have a rule that you have to buy 2 items of food or drink, and say that is how they keep the staff and keep the lights on. I think I'd rather just pay a bit more for the ticket. The menu is limited; I had the cheeseburger quesadilla, which was just okay. The two warmup acts...they should learn to read the room! It was a Sunday afternoon crowd of many seniors there to see a senior comedienne. Their jokes were so crude, immature, and sexual...the crowd was mostly silent with just a few awkward laughs. It was terrible, and I'm no prude! If I hadn't wanted to see the headliner so much, I think I would've left. They were also somewhat hard to understand; I don't know if it was me, or the sound? The front desk staff were very nice and friendly, as was our waitress. One thing though, the tables are small and we were a larger party of 7. We pushed our two little tables together when we arrived so we could talk and eat our food before the show (we had an hour). Once the show started, a bouncer type guy stood over us and INSISTED we must pull our tables apart so we couldn't face each other to talk. We weren't planning to have conversation at that point any just wanted to face our table as our meals had come; the couple of us on the stage side had turned our chairs to face the stage, but NOOOOO.., that man stood over us and insisted we stand up and pull our tables apart. So my wife, myself and several friends went to the showcase on the 31st of August, the comedians were great...however, the service was trash! The wait staff became belligerent with a friend of mine (who was one of the featured comedians btw) because she cussed while speaking to her own mother. Ultimately pushing such an issue that it resulted in my friend nearly missing her set and then being asked to leave. First off, if staff are easily offended by profanity, maybe don't work in a COMEDY CLUB! In addition to this, the food was gross and way over priced! If you're going to mandate a 2 item minimum maybe focus on having a menu that actually tastes decent! Wish I would have ordered popcorn because that is hard to mess up. As it was ordered the nachos and a quesadilla, disgusting choices that were filled with grease and feelings of regret. Finally, the poor girl at the bar was completely out of her depth. She literally had to look up the recipe for simple drinks like Old Fashioned and Long Island Ice Tea! For a venue that had at least 150 people in it, one untrained bartender was a bad choice! Maybe the manager should have jumped in and helped instead of being an antagonistic a-hole toward one of the comedians there to entertain her patrons! Purchased VIP seating to see Bill Bellamy on a late Saturday evening, seated promptly and properly in first 2 rows as advertised. Food is basic bar food, nothing too special. Service and professionalism from staff and servers were good. Chairs could be a bit more comfortable, but overall the venue was very nice, safe and accommodating for a large group while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere. I went to this establishment last night for the first time and I will not be back. I can say that the service was fast and friendly BUT that is where any good review ends. The room was packed full of people and there was no air conditioning. We were not told that the air was out and only jokes were made about how hot it was. I became so hot that I felt myself about to pass out and my friends had to quickly ask for ice and began to put it all over me. Having no AC is a true health hazard. The comedy act was good but that's the ONLY THING that was. It was EXTREMELY HOT in there, the seats were very uncomfortable, the back of them have a curve to them and it gouges you right in your back on both sides. I'm not a big person, pretty average and the seats seem to extremely small. Also, our waitress took it upon herself to add things to our bill. For example, a drink is $5. However, although I only got one drink and no refills, she charged us $7 which is unlimited refills. She also asked me if I want a cheese on my nachos which I said yes then that was another up charge $4. I'm assuming she did this to make our bill bigger so her 18% tip would be bigger. I've been here several times - the talent is great and the servers are nice. However, idk if the a/c was out last night or they just didn't want to turn it on but we walked into a furnace. If the show was pumped into the bathroom - I would have stayed there. It's really hard to force down required drinks and food when you're sweating to death. Imagine wishing you could stay in a public toilet vs being in the main room. SMH I will call next time and verify the air is on before I buy tickets, which is something that should not have to be done. I came to see DL Hughley and purchased "Premium" seating and it was a joke! The tables were so close together, if I moved, I was in my neighbor's lap. We were placed at a table sized for elementary children! The food was horrific. We came to the last show of the evening and they were sold out of 75% of their menu, but still required us to purchase 2 items. I don't eat beef or pork so I could eat nothing they had available. I decided on a cinnamon and sugar pretzel which was hard and the cinnamon and sugar was just poured in the bottom of the basket. My friends I was with, said their food was pretty inedible as well, but we couldn't complain about it because the server disappeared after bringing the items until the end of the show to bring the check. I doubt I will ever return here. My overall experience was awful and the only caveat was the comedians were hilarious. read more

I was hesitant to purchase tickets online as I am sales tax exempt but I was reassured over the phone that the sales tax would be credited once I got to the venue. It was not credited at the venue as the gentleman handling tickets said it would not be possible to credit the charge due to it being an online purchase. read more

We were a meetup group that wanted to see an older woman comedian. Since there were 8 of us, we moved 2 tables together. After we received our food, before the entertainment began, a worker came and made us separate the tables. Then made me and another woman turn our chairs around because "we are not allowed to face each other". How are we to eat with our backs to the table? He said we couldn't move to a 3rd table because we are assigned to the 2 tables. Then told me if I didn't turn to face the stage, I would have to leave. This all happened before the entertainment began. On top of that the first two young men's whole talk was inappropriate for a group of 50+ people. They targeted teenage boys sense of humor. They talked about cum in hair, living with parents, not having condoms to a group of seniors. The headliner was wonderful, funny and knew her audience. And I was charged for a meal that I sent back because the chicken tasted bad like close to being spoiled or not cooked correctly. Very disappointing. We as a group won't be back. read more

I asked them if I could use it for a special event (i.e. Bob Saget, Rob Schneider) and they said yes. I call a few weeks later to book 5 tickets to the Bob Saget show (Feb. 5th) and the person on the phone said I can use my 4 free tickets as long as the tickets doesn't say "Excludes special events", which it does not. I asked him if I should purchase the 5th ticket online or over the phone, he said the easiest way is to just buy the extra ticket at the door or reserve with credit card info over the phone now. Seeing that I didn't want to miss out, I gave him my credit card info over the phone to reserve that 5th seat. I gave him my CC info over the phone including my zip code and 3 digit CID. That is something I don't recommend but I wanted to make sure to reserve these seats and willing to risk it. Bob Saget unfortunately passed way on January 9th, 2022. I called about 1 week later to change my reservation to Rob Schneider (Feb 11th). When I called (it sounded like the same person) he said he doesn't have my reservation anywhere and that all Bob Saget's tickets received an email about their voucher to use at any other show. I never received an email. Oh well, I thought. I asked if I could just make a reservation to Schneider on Feb 11th. The same scenario happened: 4 free tickets, 1 reserved with credit card, he asked if it said "Excludes Special Event" and I said no. I asked do I need to purchase that 5th ticket to reserve my spot just incase? He said "it's better to buy that 5th ticket the same day or reserve your spot with your credit card info". I didn't hesitate to give him my CC info over the phone again. Ok so we're back to square one. 4 free tickets to Rob, 1 reserved with me trusting to give all my CC info over the phone to reserve that 5th seat. Okay so now it's about 2-3 weeks from the Rob Feb 11th show. Given the odd situation I call to confirm. This time a different person picks up. I ask to confirm my reservation for 5 people. They said the don't see it anywhere. I then told them my unique situation (4 free tickets, 1 to-be purchased ticket), and they put me on a long hold. After the hold they said they do see me reserving 5 seats (apparently they had to look at a side note). I ask "do I need to buy that 5th seat because I don't want to miss out?", apparently the computer only sees purchased seats as reserved, not over the phone conversations. This person said I could just buy that 5th seat at the door and they have my CC info if needed to charge. They said you already reserved 4 seats, adding that 1 extra seat would be easy because we just bring 1 extra chair to your table. Ok, good. Makes perfect sense! (you would think) 1 week before the show I call to see if they could add 1 more person to my reservation, I already had 5, so hopefully they could add one more. Here we go again... this was a different person and I had to go through the whole spiel again; that i didn't book it online yet; i had 4 free tickets and a to-be 1 purchased ticket. This person put me through a long hold. After returning this person states they see my side note of 4 free tickets and 1 reserved seat (5 total). They said it's a sold out show so you're only guaranteed the 5 seats. I said no problem as I knew it would be busy since it's Rob Schneider. I asked how many tables I would have and they said 1 table of 4 and they would add 1 seat. 5 seats as planned. I was happy (relieved TBH) it was still reserved. So it's show day. The 5 of us come ready for the show. The front desk person said they don't see my reservation. Wow. After a long wait to talk to the manager, they said they can only honor my 4 free tickets. That 5th person would have to wait to see if there is extra seats for walk-in. In other words, it's a sold out show and no one else was allowed in. I ask that manager why didn't they tell me to buy the ticket on the website or over the phone and they said I should've or the person over the phone should've told me to do so. I am now crying inside at this moment (heck, i'm crying right now writing this review). I was livid and EMBARRASSED. The worse part is being embarrassed for inviting someone and they couldn't come in. Bricktown Comedy Club, how would you feel if this happened to your friend or family member? I hope you feel special that out of 1,133 reviews & 10 consecutive years of Yelp Elite, Bricktown Comedy Club marks only the 29th establishment that I have given a 1 star to! Congrats! So was given free tickets through a vendor for a comedy show. We waited in line for approximately 30 minutes. To be carded, and then when we made it to the ticket counter were told that they were full and were given free passes. This is not a bad thing except that I am in town for the night. If someone was seated on the inside of a table, everyone had to get up so they could get out. I was having claustrophobia problems. The staff were very rude there, especially the guy assigning table numbers. The comedians were good but I couldn't see the stage at all because of how we were crammed in there. A Big group of us went to see It's Brunch bitch this last Sunday February 23rd 2025! Let's me start off by saying first the security people are VERY Rude. Like they have a chip on their shoulders . SECOND I have been to 4 different shows at this club. EVERYTIME the service is HORRIBLE. Food take about an hour and the Brunch was frozen bacon and cheese biscuit or French toast sticks . I was impressed by the level of talent that Bricktown comedy attracts. They have had some very well known comedians headline here. That being said, it is a shame that the venue itself is so lousy. We went to a show featuring Christopher Titus the other night when it was 1 degree outside. There is virtually no unpaid parking or handicapped parking for this venue. My husband has a metal leg and requires a cane to walk very far. He had to walk about 300 yards with his cane from the closest available parking. The tickets for the show say that the doors open at 9:30pm. We went to the front door at 9:40, we were told that we could check in for the show and then wait in the lobby (holds maybe 30 people) or wait in their bar area. There were so many people packed in the lobby that we had to go in the bar or back out into the cold. We went into the bar (which is dimly lit and smells like urine). We sat on a couch in the back of the bar and were soon harassed by one of the security guards who told us that we needed to order something or get out (they didn't have any servers, one of us would have to wait in line at the bar for a drink we don't want). Since the show didn't start till 10:15, we went ahead and ordered a couple of drinks. My husband ordered an old fashioned which was supposed to be their house specialty and they didn't even know how to make it. He got an old fashioned with salt in it. You would think that they would realize that it is bitterly cold outside, you don't have parking nearby, don't harass your customers. The older folks with the deep pockets like myself aren't going to take the bad treatment lightly. Overall, the show itself was great. I don't think that I would return because the venue sucked so bad. I tend not to ever return anywhere that I feel like I was treated poorly. read more
