Went in last week to have Helen redo nails that she half did. I had to wait at least 30 minutes which was not a problem . While waiting I was listening to the conversation she was having with one of the other workers there so I decided to put on GOOGLE TRANSLATE and found out that she was talking about that I don't want to pay anymore and that I'm poor not true !! I'm a caregiver for my 99 year old mother who has Dementia and Alzheimer and has been hospitalized every week for 2 months. No Prices -So I'm assuming they just go by shape,color and treatment services. Nail Tech- As I was sitting there I realized that the Tech did not use sanitized and clean Pedicure Set. I said the stowed looks dirty -she said no new! She had a Blue Tow with cut up to Nails and used tools inside this - uhmm ABSOLUTELY not!! UNACCEPTABLE They said Sorry but no Sorry is not excusable. Vivian always does my pedicures and she is gentle, thorough, and pays attention to detail. Extremely happy with my nails and how durable they are! Helen was attentive when I showed her inspiration photos and took the time to ensure I was satisfied with the end design. When I say they are STURDY I mean it, I grabbed my car door handle and accidentally had bad hand placement. The pain made me lose 75% of my soul and I expected to also see 75% of my new nails gone. But alas! They survived somehow and no chipping. I inspected my nails left and right more than the cops do with POC victims and they still looked spectacular. I've been to this nail salon only once before and decided to stop there because I was in the area and needed to get my nails done. The service was rushed and my big toe was in pain immediately after the service but I just consider the fact that they might have cut too deep or something of the sort.. Two days later my toe is still swollen with pus and I've now found out that it's in fact infected! I get my hands and feet done regularly and have never experienced anything like this. The gel on my nails are lifting and this service all took place two days ago. I can't wear close toed shoes because of the pain from my toe. I would not recommend any place that tries to rush and get people in and out without actually properly taken care of their customers and properly decontaminating their tools. I won't complain about the business in total because I was referred here by a friend who's nails always look really good but I would advise that if you go not to allow Vickie to do your nails. I literally want to cry from frustration at how terrible my experience with her was on top of the fact that it took 3 HOURS for her to do my hands and nails. She rushed the whole time (which is ironic because it still took her forever. Probably because she kept messing up from rushing ) I asked for square toes and they were all uneven and not square I asked for oval nails she did some round, some oval, some square round and when I tried to explain to her that they were not even she still could not see the problem to the point where I just asked her to make them square again because again it's been 3 hours already and people that were here after me are long gone. She also plucked too much cuticle on a nail and I didn't realize how bad it was until it burned from the alcohol. Theres polish in the crevices of my nails and overall just look like something I could've done at home had they not been gel nail. I'm honestly just sad I wasted so much time and money. Mike was great. I'll definitely be coming back to him. I did a walk-in, came in for a full set and was honestly dreading being in the chair forever but he was pretty quick. He was very focused on his work and only really stopped to make sure I was happy with how things were turning out. He didn't have to do a ton of evening out the acrylic with the drill either which was great because I freakin' hate that thing. I've always been cut by techs in the past because they weren't watching out for that stuff, but Mike barely had to use that thing once the acrylic was on. I asked for a full set & she kept telling yes yes I'll do that but prepped my nails and started to add the dip powder on my nails without adding nail tips to extend my nails. I love coming to see HELEN to do my full set and she never desapoints. i am the most picky person in the world and trust me she gets me and never rushes me. they are usually very bsy during the evening time but even when they are that busy they do not rush you out the door :) the quality of their work is amazing. She was nice asked if it hurt me when removing my old set. There was a few workers and more people than workers so they had to multitask, the other lady came up to me and her vibes were not it. My nails don't look even and I wanted pink French tops at first but they were just not coming out to how I wanted so I changed my mind and ended up with white. I was there for almost 2 hours, i do not have the time to go and fix them so I will not be going here for a while. More so not to that nail tech. read more
