His number one priority is to ensure the best level of care for you and your teeth's/gum's health, and it absolutely shows within his level of work. He breaks down and makes understanding complex dental procedures easy, which is a sign of a master-craft professional who has done this for many years of his life. Dental work can also sometimes be a frightening experience with how sensitive teeth/gums can be, but with the level of skill of Dr. Kunwar, I've never had any issues, even with a procedure as serious as a dental implant. He makes it his utmost priority to minimize sensitivity to make it as pain-free as possible. Whenever something may cause unavoidable discomfort, he goes out of his way to provide ample warning, and talks you through what to expect way ahead of time. It's a night and day difference between Dr. Kunwar and other dental offices I had gone to before. If you need to see a dentist, Dr. Kunwar should be the first and only place, absolutely highly recommended. I started with Smile Care this pass year. Smile Care's office is clean, up to date with their equipment, and their care team is Excellent with their communications with me regarding my oral health. Dr. Hedvat is nice, and a straight shooter. I am not sure he knows he has a sense of humor, but he makes me laugh. Dolores, the hygienist - well, she is amazing. I let her know that I am very sensitive to the epi when I am there for the deep cleaning, and she conquers it, and allows me to be epi free with minimal discomfort. She's gentle, kind, and funny. Overall, I enjoy the professionalism of Smile Care. I can have Dr. Hedvat do my annual care, and within that, he has a care team prepared for all your oral care needs.

The hygienist took 30 minutes and did not do a deep cleaning. She used a water tool and scraped for less than 15 minutes. I addressed this with the hygienist and she said I wasn't scheduled for a deep cleaning today and also that my teeth were "fine" so this was the end of my session. Previously at my initial cleaning, the hygienist said preferred to use the water tool over hand scraping as it hurt her hand. Today I felt a bit of callousness from the hygienist and figured she didn't like to scrape, hence she never asked me how I was doing during the cleaning or checked on my comfort level. Now I see she was annoyed that she had to scrape my teeth when she thought I did not have an appointment. I made this appointment at my last cleaning and was told that Wednesdays are best if I wanted to be treated by the hygienist. I cleared my work schedule for an hour and a half today so I could get a true cleaning at 9am. The office staff (lady) was kind, very apologetic and wanted to correct this, but there was nothing to resolve. If there was an error with this appointment, then I should have been told this when I checked in and should have been told that I was not going to receive a deep cleaning. The staff also did not make me pay the co-pay as it was not a deep cleaning. The staff overall are kind and warm, but I won't be going back to this office.

Glad I was sitting down because $46,000 would have floored me. This spoke volumes to me. I honestly didn't feel comfortable from the receptionist whispering, to the DDS coming in the room gocking at me, to the person selling me the minerals.
