We came just before it closed and we felt bad but literally last night of our trip I wanted to go here so badly. The staff were super chill about it though and friendly. They still let us sample flavors, and take photos in the mirror. They didnt rush us at all which was super dope. The flavors were sooo yummy and we like how it tells you the amount of calories in all of the flavors so we can be mindful of that. My favorite flavors were vegan vanilla matcha and european tart. For toppings, they had pretty typical standard toppings but one that stood out was they had biscoff. Biscoff is literally my biggest weakness and I dont know any other froyo places that offer it as a topping so yk we HADDD to get it. Inside the place was really bright, spacious and cutesy. Very picturesque. We enjoyed it a lot and next time we're in SD we will be here!!

We got this low calorie soft serve late at night, and it's basically froyo, and it was really yummy. Got the tart vanilla flavor, which tastes like Greek yogurt, and I loaded it with chocolate chips and Oreos and strawberries and it was so yummy. It was about $9 for a solid amount. It's self-service, so not much to comment about there. Ambiance is ok - there's nothing really inside (seating was outside) and it was definitely a suss area so we ate pretty quick and dipped.

My husband had been wanting to try Brites because of the lower-calorie soft serve options, so we stopped by on a Sunday right when they opened. Walking in, I was immediately reminded of a froyo shop because of the layout and self-serve setup, and honestly, I kind of loved that! We planned to share one cup, but my husband got a little carried away and filled it so high with soft serve that there was barely any room left for toppings. No complaints from me, though! It meant we got to really enjoy the ice cream itself. We tried a few flavors that I remember as a hazelnut chocolate, a cinnamon swirl, and what I think was a vegan vanilla (don't quote me on the exact names). Every flavor we got was delicious, and the texture was spot on: smooth, creamy, and satisfying and I didn't feel heavy afterwards. I added just a tiny spoonful of sesame seeds on top, which ended up being a surprisingly good pairing. The employee working that morning was friendly and welcoming, and my husband and I had a great time sharing our giant cup of soft serve on our little mini-date. Between the great flavors, fun self-serve experience, and lighter options, I can absolutely see why this place has a following. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in PB. Five stars from us!

Such a clutch dessert spot if you're looking for low calorie! ;) The flavors are suuuuper tasty, but the texture of the soft serve is something to get used to. I appreciate the variety in toppings and flavors. I want to come back ASAP!

PB's newest obsession just dropped! Teamed up with my 'frozen treat' friend Daniel (Of Scoop San Diego fame) to dive into Brites Soft Serve - the ultimate self-serve paradise! We were lucky to met the 2 owners (brothers) who have poured their passion and creativity into making this place happen. You can swirl (Self-Serve like FROYO) unlimited from ~10 premium flavors like Matcha Queen, Caffè Cold Brew, Italian Chocolate, Hazelnut, Peanut Butter & more (all made with REAL ingredients) in a nice large bright spot !! Pile on as much as you want, load up with endless fresh toppings (I got the cacao fix while Daniel scooped some fresh fruits & popping boba ha ha ), and pay by weight for that perfect bowl (No added processed sugar & low calories too) ! They take pride in using real California milk, zero seed oils or dyes. Sweet treats done RIGHT! Who's coming with? I visited Brites on a Sunday evening. I heard about this spot opening not too long ago, so I was excited to try it for myself. I thought that they had a great selection of flavors & toppings, making my decision of which to include in my cup very difficult. I ended up getting a little dollop of their vegan vanilla matcha, hazelnut de chocolato, strawnana, & cinnamon & bees, then loaded up on the toppings & sauces. Would love to visit again to try their other flavors!

Brites Soft Serve is a frozen yogurt shop that has opened in the Pacific Beach Marketplace which is along the main beachfront drag. The business shares the underground parking structure anchored by Ralphs. That amenity was a bonus because free parking in this area was scarce. The suite used to house a boba tea shop with some inside seating. All of that has been removed, and countertop ledges were installed next to the windows if you wanted to consume your dessert on site. A few outside tables were available in front of the business. The premise of the products here was low-calorie using premium ingredients. There were five machines that each dispensed two flavors. Sample cups were available at the service counter. I tried a few flavors before deciding on a mix of Cinnamon & Bees and Strawberry Banana. I skipped the toppings bar because the price was a hefty $0.90 per ounce. The frozen treat tasted less sweet than elsewhere, but that reflected the low-calorie makeup. While the fro-yo was good, I couldn't help but notice the price was at least 20% higher than another business in the neighborhood. The other place was further away from the beach, and it didn't serve low calorie products. I am unsure if that justified the cost difference, especially when the toppings were similar, but were still charged at the same rate of $0.90 per ounce. I gave my visit to Brites Soft Serve a rating between three and four stars.

Not a lot of flavor options, but it's self serve and it was a good vibe. No line on a Thursday night

So excited to finally try this place! Pacific Beach needed a frozen yogurt shop, and love that they have low-calorie and vegan options here - something for everyone. They have some tables outside to sit at. The people working there were all super friendly and helpful, also loved the giant sample cups ;-) I ended up getting the Matcha, which I thought was really delicious! I'll definitely be back again.

I love froyo and soft serve but yogurtland doesn't really satisfy that craving for me. There was no way you could tell that this froyo was low calorie. The texture is silky and soft with an amazing variety of flavors. European tart is usually my favorite but is not widely available so I appreciated that. I parked at the Ralph's parking lot below which had plenty of space. There's also limited seating inside and some tables outside to enjoy your treat.

    Two thumbs up for BRITES!

We tried Brites for the first time tonight, it was really good! Loved the flavors, especially the cinnamon & bees and the fresh toppings. Maybe just need lids on the toppings. Glad we tried something new!

Low-calorie soft serve ice cream that doesn't compromise on taste. I was pleasantly blown away when I came to try this place. As far as my favorite flavors, go, the peanut butter and cold brew were absolutely fantastic! They sweeten their ice cream with monk fruit to cut calories and I honestly could not tell the difference. I thought it was good if not better than Menchie's or Yogurtland or any of the other yogurt shops I've ever been to. Come here and give this a try, you won't regret it!

We used to come visit here when we come to San Diego. On this summer day - the restaurant doesn't bave any AC on so it made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy our desert when it is a bit cooler to sit outside. The other thing that got to me was that the men's restroom was out of service so they did not announce it or anything but the women's bathroom was to be used by both genders but it was crowded so a bit uncomfortable. Service wise we got our deserts and the deserts are still very delicious. We were a larger party and they were able to accommodate and get all of our orders correctly. Noise level was normal and gave us time to sit down and relax our feet. Over all - food was good but things were a bit worn down from a building perspective

The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. It was a warm day but we got there at 5:15pm and the sun was starting to go behind the downtown buildings. Negative: service. It seems if you are a regular, like the two tables near us, they chat it up and talk about how things are. If you aren't a regular, they just quickly come by and say "anything else?" the two times they came by. Im a huge water drinker so the carafe they brought only refilled our cups once. Never got another one until we were done and they came by asking about dessert. They weren't busy by any stretch on a Tuesday evening but apparently the frequent customers either tip really well or they prefer familiar faces. I assume the latter. So, I mean the food itself was great but service was not good. I mean we went when it was slow too and the host was talking it up with a frequent customer also asking about the changes recently to parking in their area nearby.... So we decided on Nonna's for their variety of pastas and pizza. The evening was packed with people up and down the streets. We thought most italian places would provide some sort of complimentary bread, but this place did not. We ended up ordering the Carbonara, Fusilli Alla Vodka, Pappardelle, and Salsiccia pizza. Each were fantastic, but the family really enjoyed the Fusilli and the Pappardelle the most! The short rib meat was extremely tender and flavorful.
