One star is too generous. Broadstone Arden is the perfect example of corporate greed and complete disregard for loyal residents. When my lease renewal came up, they increased my rent. After I submitted my 60-day notice, I noticed they listed my exact unit for $2455--significantly less than what I was paying. Naturally, I went to the leasing office and resident services to ask why I wasn't being offered that rate. Their response? "We can't lower rents for existing residents." Let that sink in. They'd rather pay to turn over the unit, repaint, clean, lose out on weeks of vacancy--and offer someone else a better deal--than simply keep a reliable resident at the new market rate. Makes absolutely no financial sense unless you factor in one thing: greed. But it gets worse. After I confronted them and asked them to honor the advertised price, instead of doing the right thing, they increased the rent on that unit from $2455 to $2655--a blatant, spiteful move. If a new tenant had already put down a deposit at the $2455 rate, they would be legally required to honor it. But as a current resident in good standing? They chose to hike the price just to avoid honoring it for me. Broadstone Arden's practices are predatory, dishonest, and completely dismissive of their existing community. If you're thinking about moving in, just know: they will not value you. Loyalty is punished. Transparency is nonexistent. You're better off renting from literally anyone else. read more

5 stars to Jeremy from maintenance for being super kind and helping me fix my smoke detector in a quick and professional manner. He also helped with my doorbell chime even though that wasn't what my original request was for. 4 stars for the rest of the experience of living here. I actually really enjoy living here, it's got good amenities and is in a great location. But it feels like there are a ton of hoops to jump through to live here as well. You need to download like 6 apps to do all the different things - for visitor parking permits, for picking up packages, for letting people into the building via call box, for paying rent, for submitting maintenance requests, for setting the unit entry code. - the cafe is really solid, and great for a quick meal if you don't feel like driving anywhere. - the gym is decent, it's a little small but at least has some variety of equipment. A lot of the equipment needs an upgrade though. - there's also a convenience store on the first floor that comes in handy if you need something quick. - the courtyard is a nice place to relax. - parking spots are a little tight for bigger cars. - the smoke detectors and the occupancy sensors for automatic lights in the restrooms are WAY too sensitive. - close to the freeway and close to Tustin Legacy as well as other marketplaces so it's a very convenient location. - lots of food trucks. - it would be nice if we could get access to the other buildings' amenities (there's 3 buildings on the property but you only have access the the one you live in). I would probably switch around the different gyms if I could. - not a lot of in-unit storage space, so you have to pay extra if you want to rent a storage room too. Overall I am satisfied with living here and I hope I can renew my lease for at least another term or two. read more

I rarely ever write reviews lately, but this is an exception. Had a whole day lined up of apartment hunting and visiting Broadstone Arden was the very last property to be visited... For one reason or another, and not being impressed with the properties prior to Broadstone Arden, we decided to move it up on the list. Glad we did. Walked into the Leasing Office and Toi greeted us and showed us a few units,(even when we didn't have an appointment). During our tour, Toi made us feel welcomed, she genuinely answered all our questions with no upselling, etc. Needless to say, we placed a deposit that very day and five days later, we had the key to the apartment. (Mind you this was over a holiday weekend too!) Love the efficiency! It's been about a month since we moved in and so far the (model) unit is great! The property is well maintained and is close to pretty much everywhere we need to be, which makes it convenient. Thank you to Toi for making this process simple and worry free. read more

Hear me out. This apartment complex is so beautiful, has all the amenities up-to-date, and is constantly fixing a lot of items around the property. . Also keep in mind a lot of stuff here breaks due to transients and tenants. It takes time to order parts and fix things correctly. I have lived at other "high end" apartment complexes and they suck! . You really have it all here: Coffee shop, a Boba shop, multiple gyms, med spa, and multiple high-end amenities that I have never seen. read more

Wanted to update my review to give credit to Alex at Resident Services. In his first week, he helped me search through all the Parcel Pending lockers to find my missing package. Despite not being familiar with the system, he quickly learned to help me find my package. And just today, because the management office gave everyone a two day notice of the parking garage pressure washing right before our trip, Alex figured out very quickly if we needed to move our car (thankfully we didn't). Alex always tries his hardest to give us the best solution, in a timely manner. Resident Services needs more people like Alex. Thank you Alex! read more

This is to confirm the SHADY business practices here. No advance notice, nothing. Just a surprise charge of $65+ on our utility charge for the previous month. The email announcement attached is proof to address the recent concerns raised about the "porter fee" on our accounts. They also mentioned that we're the only building out of the 3 apartments that are being charged this fee (for now), but will eventually be rolled out to the other 2 apartments within the community. This is saying that all the residents in the brand NEW apartment will need to also pay a porter fee towards 1. maintenance services, 2. common area upkeep, and 3. community events+amenities. Let that sink in for a bit... so what exactly is our rent increases going towards then? We've also been putting up with the inconsistent trash fee that ranges anywhere between $60 to $80 per month, on top of the mandatory $25 valet trash fee, which we rarely use anyways. Should've taken the hint when the utility service clearly says "CONservice". Back to Irvine Company it is then. read more

Well I made it to a year and thought it would be necessary to update my review. Why can't you leave a 1/2 star review on Yelp because this is what Broadstone Arden deserves and I'll tell you why.. 1. Flight path- you will never get use to this. I haven't after being here for over 365 days.. just be prepared to pause your Netflix or turn up the volume when a jumbo jet flies overhead! 2. Trash fees has increased. When I asked about this, leasing told me it's because the occupancy has gone up. Well that's not my fault but seriously... wtf 3. Garage- my blood pressure still rises when I make a turn while navigating in and out of the garage because the no one here gives a F about how they are speeding. 4. Do you love having a doormat outside your unit? If so, don't live here because you can't have one! WTF In general.. just don't live here...no one has respect here.. the hallway smells of nasty trash, you got your neighbors music so loud that you feel like you're in a dance club.. save your money.. head over to Main Street village or metropolis!! read more

This property is amazing!! I made an appointment online 2 months ago to view some apartments at the Park & Paseo Communities. I toured with Parisa and Andrea who showed me EVERYTHING the beautiful apartment units have to offer as well as the community amenities. I'm very picky on my unit as I'm a single woman looking for a safe and new place to live. When moving day came, the actual unit I originally picked just wasn't fitting me... (I know, I know...). I spoke with Toi the community manager and she went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was happy. I looked at a few other units ready for same day move in and found the most stunning penthouse apartment!! The new paperwork and lease was done in an hour and I owe it all to Toi!
