Long Beach has quite a few pizza spots. Is Broadway Pizza hands down the best pizza ever? Not necessarily, but they are consistent in what they deliver and my loved ones an I enjoy it. We've dined in only twice over the years and mostly do delivery. When dining in, the place is clean, service is good, and we've never had any complaints about service or our order. Mostly recently we ordered the carnivore for take out and it was great and reasonable priced. We'll continue to order from here for sure. read more

I just want to say that the service here was AMAZING. Shoutout to Tia, she really took care of the entire floor. My partner and I were just there for drinks and catching a glimpse of the (soccer) game and she was so accommodating. We were there when an event was happening just a block down and a few event workers came in and asked if they could rest for a bit and Tia did not hesitate, she was like "absolutely" and got them all iced water (that is infused with cucumber, mint, & lemon) and offered them a seat. I was there this weekend with some friends. I have to say the place has a good vibe. Good decoration they playing great music. The pizza was delicious. Good portions. Good prices. The waitress says were amazing. My only downside is that they wouldn't split a bill 3 ways and they automatically added at 18% tip of people of five or more. They were only accept one card for payment no matter how big the group is. read more

Just moved out of LB, but this was a favorite date spot when we lived there. Being a pseudo New Yorker (25+ years in Western CT), I consider myself a pretty accurate judge of quality New York pizza, and Broadway Pizza knows what they're doing. The food was good and the ambience was really nice. We were a big group taking a break in between bars having a good time. But we were annoyed to be asked to lower our voices when we were the only people there. Felt like we were being scolded by our parents. Just a kill to our vibe for the night. read more

During my last night stay in Long Beach I wanted to find a pizza place. Problem is a lot of places in the downtown area sold an entire pie which wasn't what I was looking for at the time. I stumbled across Broadway Pizza and Grill. Noticed they had a personal sized pie which was perfect. The only issue is the personal size only allows you to get up to 3 toppings so I was not able to try one of their signature pizzas. On top of the pizza order I added the Thai chili wings. That had to be my favorite item and for some reason can't believe why I never thought about adding that sauce on my wings at home. On a Saturday evening around 8pm, the place wasn't crowded at all. I was served promptly. Grabbed a couple of drinks after putting in my order. I did notice someone ordering after I have ordered and they received their food before I got mine. It made me worry that I didn't put in the order for pizza since the wings came out. The place is very nicely decorated and suites my style very well. Avoid at all costs. We walked in, there were a few people at the bar and dining room. We weren't sure whether to seat ourselves or what to do. Finally the "employee" came out and told us to seat ourselves, so we did. She brought the menus over and dropped them on the table without saying a word. Then she never came back, we waited 10 minutes and she wasn't even busy. Just chatting it up with some guy at the bar. Unfortunately I can't rate their food because I'll never have a chance to try it. We walked out after finally losing our patience, on the way out I sarcastically told the employee "great service, keep it up!" And she smiled and said "thanks, make sure you leave a review!". They need to replace this frigid woman asap before they lose all their customers. It was as if she didn't want us there. I'm a local here and wanted to try a place I've never been to. I was here on 3/7/26 and I ordered to go but once I got to the restaurant I decided to eat there. My father died in January and I thought it would be good for me to finally just get out and eat my pizza outside not in my living room. The young gentleman that received me was pissed off that I decided to eat there instead. Let's not even talk about the young African American girl that was there that night. She is always so sweet and so cool I look forward to seeing her but on this night, I asked if she can throw away the box and she flat out said no and made an ugly face. I was shocked. Love this spot. . The garlic cheese knots are to die for. So freaking tasty! I wish the portion was a bit bigger but truly one of the best appetizers. I absolutely love their rocket wings too. Spicy but not spicy ! The pizza is good. I wouldn't say amazing but it's better than most pizza in LBC. Staff is always kind and helpful. They be place is always very clean Parking isn't usually too bad just depends on what time you go. I've had it delivered multiple times and it travels well. I can't believe what a great little gem this place is! Amazing apps, pizza (especially the margarita), and pasta! We were nearby and figured we'd get dinner without moving our car. This place seemed like it had decent pizza so we gave it a shot, when we walked in we were greeted with joy and told it was open seating. They had several TVs throughout the restaurant which had the big NBA games playing (I loved that, didn't know they had TVs beforehand and the games on). Our waitress was super friendly and gave us the best recommendations (see the picture of the Garlic Cheese Rolls), we also had the Pizza (the Margarita was our favorite), the lasagna was so good too, which were all her recommendations! Classic take on American-Italian food from old school elevated Pizza and Pasta...to tasty salads, smash burgers and the popular wings that rank in top tier for this city. Also might I add, they have a FULL BAR/BEERS ON TAP...and the staff is always hustling to make your visit pleasant. As most know the restaurant business is the probably the toughest biz to own and operate. This place has been in downtown LB supporting, serving and surviving since 2006. This timeline speaks for itself and matches the everlasting taste of Broadway. As a LB native of 50 years, my recommendation is to not hesitate and just experience for yourself. To start with, we were told that this is the best pizza in Long Beach. As far as I can tell, they are; the pizza (their Broadway Deluxe) was exceptional - tasty crust, crisp but not burnt; fresh ingredients that were cooked correctly (very difficult!); with just enough cheese and a tasty sauce that had a bite but wasn't too spicy. Our server was friendly and helpful, willing to stop and chat but quite efficient (so no one was missed), and discussed the different choices making it easy for us to choose the pizza we did. The overall feel is semi-modern, with several tables and more booths in a very clean restaurant, with TVs playing news and sports but without loud volume to disturb us. (The other patrons were loud, though...) Next time I go, I have to try the wings, which appear to be famous and good. We were there at a great time, mid-afternoon (just after 2 on a Thursday), which means that, even though they were restricted to one cook and one server, service was excellent. I would not be sure that the service or the food would be as good during a rush period, even though they double the servers and the cooks at those times. read more

My food was to go and cold when I got it. Pasta was not prepared properly toppings were sparring and ovo was overdone by a quarter of a cup in the bottom of the container. The garlic cheese bread was the same sparring slice and overly buttery. A big disappointment and not worth the money, the inattentive service not worth mentioning, just rude. read more

Broadway pizza has been a staple for us for a while but they keep messing up our pizza. We religiously order the B-Dub and loved the roasted garlic that they still list as an ingredient on their menu but they never put it on. We keep thinking it's a flub, and at times we've ordered and called in to ask them to put it on because they won't let you do special orders on the delivery app. What gives Broadway? I don't care if you charge me more just give me all the ingredients I want ony pizza. read more

Stopped in here for a take out dinner while I was at a conference. I ordered a sausage, chicken, and mushroom stromboli and an order of the garlic cheese rolls to go and it was ready in about 10 minutes, so I appreciated the quick turnaround. As for the taste, I have one thing to say... cheese!!! Both the stromboli and the garlic cheese rolls had a ton of mozzarella cheese! The cheese was oozing out of both and kind of overpowered the other flavors. I definitely would have preferred less cheese on both of these so I could have a little more of the chewy bread texture instead of gobs of mozzarella and also so I could have tasted the other flavors better. When I had the leftovers (I had to eat them cold since the hotel didn't have a microwave) it was like eating a mozzarella stick. If cheese is your thing, you'll love these, but they were so-so for me. At least the portions were generous! read more

We walked in and it was pretty dead were the only ones there there was a lady that came over and she gave us some lemon water. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink that was kind of the only option which I was kind of strange I've never been in establishments. I didn't ask what we wanted to drink, but whatever we got a medium size pizza to split between the four of us a pizza itself was really good really enjoyed it. It was a little bit on the expensive side $27 for a medium pepperoni. But we did enjoy it. The ambience and the place was pretty nice and was enjoyable the pizza I will give a for service at one in the ambience a three so I'm a go over all three for this place read more

They have a gluten free pizza, it's a personal size pizza for one or two people to share. Love ordering that from here. The regular pizzas are also very good. My favorite is their chicken salad! The vinaigrette they make is so good! read more

My personalizations are also done - I always ask for extra crispy wings with no jalapeños. This company is very generous with their topping, other places tend to put very little. While the drinks are your standard overpriced cocktail, the bartender was generous with the alcohol and so I'm not even mad.
