We used to be regulars and go in once a week, decided to have it delivered last time. Both pizzas were cold, driver forgot the wings, came back 15 minutes later with wings, that ended up being a mushroom Swiss burger, 10 minutes later he brought wings. Called to complain was told they would comp our next order, called to give them another try, no one made any notes, asked to speak with manager, he said, sorry nothing I can do... Thus place has really gone down hill, and the customer service is non existent. And I can guarantee you at 3 of the employees remember my piss poor experience...avoid this place at all cost....avoids I said we were regulars at the Eagles nest almost every weekend, never more.....ronny should be ashamed for the terrible service they have now....... read more

Comparing this location to the original one, it's pretty below average. We came here because it was closer to us than the original broadway though we like the original location a lot. They offer varieties of things, but the pizza options are limited. We tried the broadway salad, chicken strips, and eddie's extra special pizza. The salad was very meh. The chicken strips were standard. The pizza was ok. If we ever crave broadway pizza again, we would drive just a little further away to the original one. read more

Ok. I love LOVE love Broadway. Have for years. This location is NOT affiliated with the others. It's the old independent version and seems to have the original sauce/crust. We are lacking good thin crust in Crystal and we were so excited, and it was pretty damn tasty BUT... CANNED MUSHROOMS??? REALLY?!? Why?!? It took a 5 star meal to a 3. Total bummer. The only place that still has Eddie Peck's recipe - don't let the other Broadways fool you - this is the original thin crust from the past and the only joint in town that still makes it that way. Fresh hand made ingredients. Nice and greasy with a crisp thin crust taste, explosion of flavor - it's basically the Angelina Jolie of pizzas. They've updated the menu and the new bone-in wings might be as good as the pizza. The Buffalo Sauce is liquid cocaine and you might find yourself there the next night re-upping your fix. The burgers are good. Fries are fries and blah, blah, blah. You're here for the pizza. Broadway used to have the deadly lineup of hot waitresses back in the early to mid 00's. Fun, flirty and great service. Some suckers would break the bank and tip big just to get a phone number - sometimes it worked huh Chad? Those days are long gone sadly - but that's just for us lonely piece of shit ballplayers that stare at nice ass in short shorts while we have pizza sauce all over our perverted face while trying to holler. I regularly visit the Broadway Pizza on West River Rd, had a coupon for the one in Robbinsdale, and they are not all made the same! I was very disappointed! The sauce was sort of ok, the mushrooms were to big, the onions were almost minced, and the hamburger was like the small round balls that you would get on a cheap pizza from a cheap chain that did not look or taste like beef! If you're looking for pizza that tastes like it was from a recipe you'd find in the 90's you've found it. This place is super casual and throwback (wood paneling, friendly long time wait staff). I mean, this place still has meat raffles! I have no complaints about this place, it is what it is, it's Minnesota-cana. I'm only sad about one thing, they changed their wings supplier and/or recipe, they used to be crispy breaded and deep fried! Now they're broiled??? I called Broadway Pizza, I have lived in the area about a year. Eaten in the restaurant 2 times and was not excited to return because the service was slow, seemed under staffed. February 10, 2018 I ordered delivery. I ordered a 14" Classic Pizza and Tots with Cajun rub and Cheese and Bacon. A gal named Kallie took my order. When I first called I was put on hold. During the order Kallie put me on hold. I asked her to repeat the order and she said "sausage 14" and tots with cheese" I said No, (reading from the menu on the website) I would like a Classic 14" it has the sausage, pepperoni, onion, green pepper, not a sausage pizza. My order arrived. I paid $27.36 + $5.00 tip. I was excited to dig into the toys with cheese and bacon. I opened the box and there were dried out tatter tots. I called the store and got a guy named Peter. I explained my ticket only had the 14" Classic on the receipt but I had paid the $27 and some change. I explained I have dry tatter tots. They do have the Cajun rub but no cheese and bacon. There is not even a sauce to dip the dry tatters into. He explained that even though it does not seem fair I had 2 options. Pay for a new order of tatter tots with the Cajun, cheese and bacon and pay for a Re delivery. I live 2 blocks away. Or I could drive to the store at 10 pm and pay for a whole new order of tots. He then put Kallie on the phone. I repeated myself and I explained there was not even a receipt for the tots yet I had paid for them. She said they were rung up on separate receipts. She had no explanation why one order was rung on 2 receipts. She was rude, repeatedly put me on hold and stated I never said anything about cheese and they don't put Cajun on the tots if there is cheese and bacon which was in direct opposition to what Peter said. The solution. I needed to get a whole new order I could not even drive down and get cheese sauce for these dried out tots I would need to order a complete new order. If I wasn't ordering food she had to go. There was no responsibility on her part. Peter was very apologetic. Kallie could not even give a reasonable reason why there was no receipt with my complete order. Makes me wonder if the tots were rung into the till at all. So my option eat these dried out tots with no dipping sauce or the cheese that I ordered. OR drive to the store and pay for and order a whole new order of tots still leaving $9 + to throw in the garbage. I will never order from this poorly run pizza store again. Sarpino's in New Hope has great food! Great delivery people! And when once they made a mistake they offered a resolution that did not include me drive to the store and paying for new food when the food I ordered was incorrect. Dried out and Kallie was very rude with no resolution what so ever. If I had ordered on a credit card I would have called the credit card company and let them know the food is dried out and awful and the merchant had ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER CURTSEY aka Kallie what so ever. Don't waste your time on this place. Call Sarpino's in Crystal. I Always patronize local small businesses. This is one that I can find absolutely I reason to give a second chance again. Peter is a decent man who sounded very sorry that this happened. He also stated when this happens the customer has to pay for the food again and drive in to pick it up or pay for delivery and pay for the full price of the food when an error is made on the merchants side. I still have to wonder why there is no ticket for the tots??? Did the tots get rung up at all? Or was the pizza rung up and the money collected but not run through the cash register? I will be asking the owner this when I am able to get of him/her. Very disappointed. Will not even let another person pay for me to eat in this place... AWFUL! Kallie AWFUL! Good pizza .... A bit greasy, but cheap beer specials on Sunday afternoons. Always can catch a game on one of the several screens.

Stopped by to try the buffet. Food taste like it has been sitting out for hours. Need more variety also. Pizza was ok. Skimpy on the toppings. Probably not going back for buffet ever. Pizza is GREAT! I order carry out for my mom quite a bit. The customer service is HORRIBLE. How about saying," thank you" or even "goodbye" before you hang up the phone on me?! I told him what I wanted, he told me how long it would take, I say "ok" and he just hangs up! Really?! Crappy customer service and phone skills! Nothing worse than bad customer service. They get one star for delivery but I changed my star rating ,five for food quality, however PICK UP your delivery ,don't have them deliver, 1 1/2 later after telling me it would be a hour they literally told me the delivery hasn't even left yet but would be the next to go out when the driver got back. This is way to long to wait for food I could have picked it up ,after all this time waiting I lost interest and was pissed I wasted my time I used my CC and put a 10 tip on there .hopefully it wont take as long for them to give me my money back as it does for their delivery.Great food but they need to get it together for delivery , hire more drivers etc or just don't deliver!! I typically go here for the lunch buffet with my son. It's cheap and nearby and easy to do on a day where we may be short on groceries.

This place is definitely a greasy-spoon of pizza. The pizza is fantastic with a pitcher of cheap beer and a group of friends. They have the traditional favorites of a pizzeria. I love Broadway Pizza and I hate to give a location 3-Stars, but the Robbinsdale location is a cut short of quality of the North Minneapolis and Plymouth stores. Parking isn't bad at all as its in a mini-mall complex and there's quite a bit of spaces. The outside isn't quite as welcoming as the other stores and is located on a corner block without much decor to welcome guests. Inside is fairly nice, if not slightly cramped. The Robbinsdale store has quite a different atmosphere than the other locations I've been to. The restaurant has a slight drab/casual feel to it and a lot less of the "bar" feel of the other stores. Perhaps a bit like comparing a Dennys to a TGI Friday's. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the menu is reduced with less options. I may be thinking this because the menus are smaller, laminated ones versus the standard, large fold-out menus at the other stores. I would have to compare both menus side by side. The service is actually quite good at the Robbinsdale store. Both times I have been there I have sat in a booth near the bar and been served by the same bartender. He has been pleasant on both occasions, attentive to customer needs and is quick with a refill. Pizza both times was cooked quickly, to order and hot and fresh. I will give them a knock because the only hot sauce they had was Tabasco... they definitely could stand to get some Cholula, Sriracha, etc. Overall, still great Broadway Pizza, good service and easy to find. A bit lacking on the atmosphere and some of the other amenities and niceties of the other Metro Broadways. read more
