Plenty of parking nearby and additional parking in the garage. Staff suggested their matcha. My sister and I opted for their double matcha. The matcha had great balance of sweetness and tea, very comparable to other matcha spots such as Urban Matcha. It might be a bit sweet to people visiting from overseas, so definitely put that into consideration when ordering their matcha. Great matcha that is somewhat affordable. Loved that they open so early in the morning when you need a early morning dose of caffeine. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it definitely did not disappoint. Place is hard to find. The map puts it in the middle of the plaza but its off to the side near neko sushi on ground level near the street. The place is simple and clean. Very cute. It was good, but not anything super amazing. It felt like a pretty standard matcha iced latte situation. The foam was fine, but nothing special -- it honestly tasted like a pre-batched foam with a store-bought vanilla syrup vibe rather than something freshly made. The matcha itself was decent, but they do add a lot of ice, and it's on the pricier side. With a few other matcha spots around, this one didn't really stand out to me. I tried a matcha/chai-style drink that wasn't really my favorite, but it was interesting. The only downside was that we didn't get a notification when our order was ready, so by the time we picked it up my hot drink was almost cold even when it was very short time waiting and the iced drinks had so much ice they were gone in a few sips. Parking is limited in front but there's additional space in the parking garage. Inside is bright, inviting, and has limited seating in the back. The place connects directly to Curry Ya. You can dine next door and then come here for dessert and drinks. Menu offers a nice selection of drink special, classic coffee, broken signature, iced and hot latte signature, as well as house made cookies and pastries. Strawberry Cheese Danish ($5.50) is delightful and yummy! Josh is so nice to warm up the pastry, thank you! I wanted hot matcha and Alden kindly recommended Koei Matcha Latte (10 ounce, $6.50), which has high quality ceremonial premium matcha and milk, I opted for oat milk (+$1). The other milk alternative is almond and soy milk. Koei matcha latte is comforting and absolutely delicious! Be sure to add their signature broken cream (+$1), the matcha quality is superb and wonderful! Also this pair so nicely with strawberry cheese danish. Service from Alden and Josh is very kind, welcoming, efficient, super helpful, and friendly! I'm so happy they have a new location in Chinatown, it's in a convenient area, the atmosphere is relaxing, has good vibes, and their music playlist is pretty awesome! Finally had the chance to come try Broken Coffee for the first time. Conveniently, I happen to be very near this location. I was excited to try their coffee. I ended up getting a London Fog Latte. Aesthetically this place hits the spot. And generally speaking normally that means flavor wise it isn't there... but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the strawberry matcha latte from a recommendation a friend and I was glad I did. The mild sweetness of the strawberry complemented the matcha to enhance the flavor without overpowering which happens at a lot of places. It wasn't too sweet which also a lot of places do to cover the initial bitterness of the matcha. My friends got the latte and we were told they roast their beans prior to grinding which gives a new flavor profile and when I had a taste I had to agree.
