When I arrived, there was nobody at the maitre'd stand so I just got in line like the other two parties ahead of me. I quickly figured things out and made my order of the fried Fish and Shrimp platter with cajun fries. I just came from the gym so I was pretty hungry. The food came out piping hot and it was simply delicious. The food was fried/cooked perfectly with no excess oil. Portion wise, I feel that I got good value for my money. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but I guess I'll have to visit again!

With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

There was no hint of garlic or parmesan flavor. Our server tried to rectify the situation by adding cheddar cheese to it. Fortunately, the Beignets were as good as we expected. Huey's is the only place outside of New Orleans where we have found authentic New Orleans beignets. Our server Jenelle was very friendly. At some point, something frazzled her because she seemed flustered and rattled by the time we were ready to leave. We had asked her for silverware for our beignets. It took her so long that my partner got up to get some from another table themselves because we were tired of waiting. When I asked for the check, she gave me the wrong check. She went in the back to fix it and had my debit card. She came back without the card to ask me for my zip code to finish the transaction. We asked her to bring the POS terminal to our table so that we could finish the payment.

Anna was absolutely amazing! She checked on us regularly without ever being overbearing, and the service was incredibly fast from start to finish. What a great addition to River Street. Broken Keel is unlike any of the other establishments around it. Their menu sets them apart from the traditional Savannah fare on River Street. My family and I decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. I had the Surf and Turf Burger and my wife had the Chicken Quinoa Salad. Zee was our server, and I cannot say enough about her service, knowledge and enthusiasm to be working there. Jerome (Manager) made sure that we were satisfied. First time eating here and it was amazing!! I had the firecracker shrimp tacos and my husband had the surf and turf burger! They were both cooked to perfection. He ordered the Savannah bananas beers and I had a dirty martini that was soooo good! (It's hard to find places with good dirty martinis) Last, BUT NOT LEAST, our server ANNA she was wonderful. She stayed during the freak snow storm and made our dining experience excellent for every meal even though she was exhausted. The caramel corn & pretzel cheesecake was unique & so tasty with the sweet & salty combo. Chocolate lava cake was delicious also. Loved it here.

We had the crab cake as well as the clam and muscle fettuccine pasta.. Both are very good! There is an upstairs balcony overlooking the river. We sat downstairs inside the air-conditioning by the bar. We were taken care of by XXXX, a fellow veteran and a gentleman. Very nice chatting with you and you made our experience very nice!

We ordered a half dozen of house oysters plus mookimoto oysters, clam chowder, fried pickles and crap dip. The small mookimoto oysters were good and the clam chowder was pretty good. The fried pickles were super salty and the crab dip was really cheese dip....not much crab. It looked like nachos. This was not what we expected and was not great. Overall we were disappointed with the restaurant.

Friendly and inviting with great food…read more Despite traveling wi the 10 in our families, the smaller indoor area was still able to accommodate our seating needs with big booths and small tables near by. Outdoor area was big and ample but a little too cold for some of our family members. The food was delicious. There wasn't one plate that hit our table that disappointed. Few appetizers were ordered, Tuna bites and Blue Crab dip with pita, to share. With our big orders of the Oyster Po Boy sandwich and the Crab-cake sandwich accompanied by fries. We have a few days left and the family are considering this location as a return but definitely on my must and recommended list in this area.
