We had such a great experience here! Nataly and Searrah were both exceptional--Nataly wasn't even our server, but when we mentioned we didn't enjoy our coffees, she took it upon herself to help us get fresh ones. They were absolutely delicious! Our actual server, Searrah was super quick and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Now for the food--the pumpkin pancakes are to die for! Just a heads-up, they're huge, so come hungry. The Impossible sausage was tasty with a little kick to it, so be prepared if you're sensitive to spice. And definitely try the hot coffees--they're a must! I left Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) satisfied. It's not perfect; however, this location offers a comfortable ambiance, large portions, and fresh options. I enjoyed most of the Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95). I arrived at Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) on Wednesday (7:00AM - opening time). I was the first customer; about 34 minutes later, groups of customers started to arrive. My server (receipt says Seny) is hardworking, informative, and welcoming. Seny explained the menu; Seny was professional and informative; and Seny gave good recommendations. Even when Seny wasn't at my table, Seny was working nonstop in the background. However, this location felt very short staffed. When more customers arrived, I noticed how much slower everything became. I ordered the Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95). For its two eggs, I selected scrambled. My selected sides were the hash browns and blueberry muffin. My order arrived within 15 minutes and 12 seconds. Good pace. I absolutely adored the fresh, crisp hash browns and blueberry muffin. The hash browns were a solid, fresh quality which are uncommon nowadays in other similar breakfast joints. The blueberry muffin was also spectacular as it arrived very hot and freshly baked; it's spongey, gently sweet, and moist. Concerning the Chicken-Fried Steak, it's cooked and presented well. I loved how this chicken-fried steak had a thin, crisp crust. I also enjoyed how it's well-seasoned. Unfortunately, its creamy gravy is an acquired taste. This gravy had an unusual faint perfume/floral aftertaste, and its seasoning was very light. The chicken-fried steak is still a solid option, and the large portion is satisfying. Ironically, the eggs were the worst part of this meal. The scrambled eggs were the coldest ingredients on the plate. These eggs arrived very lukewarm and wet. The eggs were the biggest afterthought of this dish. I also had a cup of water. Unfortunately, it had that strong off-putting, tap water taste. Regarding ambiance, Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) is very clean, charming, and spacious. It's well-ventilated and well-decorated. There's a tremendous amount of shiny tables and chairs. Also, this location includes four visible, muted flat screen televisions showing the ESPN+ and sport networks. Curiously, only one television had english captioning subtitles. The other three TVs just had muted talking with no subtitles, so they were the least functional and useful. Thankfully, this location had soothing, upbeat music. Overall, I had a good experience at the Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora). The Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95) is a decent option. I left with pleasant memories. 4.5 out of 5 read more

As you're pulling into Vegas, do yourself a favor and make this stop. It's such a cute little breakfast spot, and the fact that they're open early makes it even better when you're road-tripping in. We ordered the chicken and waffles, and I loved it. The chicken had that perfect crisp, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Cooked exactly how it should be. The waffles weren't overly sweet (which I really appreciate), so the balance between savory and sweet was just right. We also got a classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, and toast, and my husband was very happy with that choice. Simple, well done, and satisfying sometimes that's all you need. Now let's talk about the real star for me: the coffee. I ordered the Messy Caramel Latte (iced) and added an extra shot of espresso. Divine. It had this almost salty caramel vibe that I loved, rich and smooth without being overly sweet. The extra espresso gave it that perfect bold kick. Easily one of those coffees you think about long after you leave. Overall, such a solid stop if you're driving into Vegas. Don't think we will be returning. I come here because we are local and I usually enjoy the open eating area and the staff are so friendly. But the food keeps going down hill. The temperatures are never hot. I don't understand because they have food servers, who just pick up and bring the food from the warmers, but our food is always just like warm to cold. This day was no different. Husband ordered the Cali burrito with the rice and beans on the side. The burrito came out hot not with house potatoes but with hash browns in it. The rice was cold and the beans tasted burnt. The waitress brought out new rice but it was still cold. She apologized and offered another side, he went with fries. I ordered the American breakfast. Corned beef has, hash browns, eggs over easy and sourdough toast. The eggs were over easy but only one had runny yolk the other was solid, hash browns were warm, but the corned beef was super hot, I tried to flag someone down for, but no one was there. I ate my 1 good egg and the perfect corned beef hash. By the time the waitress came around it was too late to really say anything about the hashbrowns. I didn't want new ones, I wanted to eat my breakfast as a whole. I didn't let her know about it, and how I could not even have my toast, which I did specify "well toasted" came out cold and rubbery, I could not even dip it into both eggs, because the 1 egg was over cooked. I mean you name on the restaurant is "6 Yolk". You guys should be able to cook your eggs perfectly. She brought me new toast, so I just had it with jam. I used to love coming here with my friends, family, and little dates with my kids, but now, it's not worth it, half the time, they don't make the hot chocolate the same, it depends which waitress you have, and now with the food never being served hot. The three of us met up for breakfast on a recent Wednesday around 10 a.m. Initially, the patio wasn't open for seating, but once my friend mentioned we had a small dog with us, the host was kind enough to accommodate us outside. Any place that's pet-friendly instantly earns five stars from me, I truly appreciated their flexibility! And my pooch Thank YOU also! :) Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was cheerful, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. I ordered the salmon avocado toast, one friend got an omelette, and the other went with a classic breakfast combo with a side of a blueberry muffin. Everything came out quickly, and our drinks were refilled without us even needing to ask. The portions were generous, my salmon avocado toast came with scrambled eggs on the side, and I couldn't even finish it. Sadly, I accidentally left my to-go box on the table! Came here today for a late brunch and it was awesome. It started a little meh since we sat at the bar and none of the workers behind the bar greeted us. Not even a hello. But then along comes Janelle with her upbeat, friendly, cheerful, energetic self that completely made our dining experience amazing! Great food, great service. Janelle went above and beyond. I'm a business owner and I tell my employees ALWAYS turn on your game face and bring your best with every customer that walks into our doors because you never know who you're meeting. Janelle has a very upbeat and energetic personality. I overheard another server say to her (which should never be done on the floor btw) "you got sat more than me today". Well I can see why. NOBODY greeted me and my girlfriend when we sat at the bar for the first five minutes. At the very least someone should have said "someone will be right with you." If I was the owner of this restaurant I would have written up or terminated everyone that was behind that bar and didn't acknowledge the new guests that just sat at the bar. They were so zoned in on washing dishes and making drinks that they totally ignored us. If Janelle hadn't come by we probably would have left. Not to be a douche about it but I'm speaking as a business owner myself that my employees have to always bring their best optimal when they clock in. It's game time. The Corned Beef Hash and extra eggs I got with Hashbrowns and toast was on point as was my girlfriend's Turkey sandwich and fries. I live in monrovia and pass many breakfast restaurants to come here. (I like the mimosas a lot) The food is always good. I have never complained or sent food back for any reason. Today I ordered classic eggs benedict. ( I've probably had it 100 plus times in my almost 66 years of life). (Also had it here several times) Today's was bad I could not cut through the ham(Canadian bacon). I tried my fork. Then a butter knife and I sawed through it and finally cut it. Then I tasted it and of course it was tough as tough gets. It was obviously over cooked or just a bad piece. I asked "Shy" the waitress to please help me. She said no problem and took it to the kitchen and returned to say that "it's supposed to be like that" I know I'm old and the younger people have different ideas but bad food is bad food. If you younger people are willing to accept bad food so you don't have to complain I wish you good luck. No manager apologizes. I know I'm just another old guy complaining so it just doesn't matter. But I hope this restaurants clientele is youthful as old guys like me have different expectations. I also realize that "Shy" was just repeating what the cooks told her to say. I understand this is not fine dining and I did not get upset at all. However I do want whoever is in charge of this restaurant to have a clear understanding of why this business is losing customers and making less money. It's not "Shy" it's not the cooks. Our food came out before our drinks (which took a while to receive), two of the orders incorrect (ordered sweet potato fries and got regular friesl), the salad we ordered with chicken and without almonds came out with almonds and no chicken (we did inform them multiple times of the almond allergy). After they apologized, we had to ask 3 different servers again after waiting more than 30 minutes for the correction to the order. Then the manager came out and said they would remove the cost of the entire salad because the salad was severely delayed and erroneous. Unfortunately, they not only charged us for the salad but also charged us more than the menu cost for add-on the chicken. Its one thing to get orders incorrect, its another thing to have us seated outside in the heat and not get drinks until much later, then insist on removing errorneous orders only to overcharge it. it doesn't look bad but my food tasted like popcorn butter and the biscuit was not what i expected a biscuit to be.... it was like a mariott hotel ultra processed biscuit. it smelled like it came out of a bag and was disappointing for the price. We spent $50 there on two entrees and did not feel welcoming there. I've been coming here for years now. And I remember the first server I had the first time I came here, Janelle. I've had her several times throughout the years and she has always been my favorite. I just had her again today, and as always she is so nice, sweet, and knowledgeable of the menu.
