Went to grab some breakfast with a neighbor. And was greeted by Grams. She was so pleasant and a ton of fun. Our waitress was Kiya. She was awesome. Great service and the food was a 10. We also got some of the churro bites covered in sugar with a dipping sauce. Man that was good. All in all another great experience at broken yoke.

I've been to broken yoke on cip when I lived back in Southern California, and was pleased to see one down the street from my apartment in Las Vegas so I decided to go check them out. I really like the open airy environment inside the restaurant. Plenty of seating options, plus they have a patio out back with Mr. Fans so in case it gets hot it can cool it down a little bit. I got seated right away, got a cup of coffee to check out the menu. Place was pretty full, which means that there are a lot of people that like it. The hostess that sat me said that this place has a lot of regular customers, so that is a good sign because people return to this place again and again which I was glad to hear. My server came up and introduced herself, and she was wonderful. Kaya is really on her game. Just chatty enough and friendly and has a great sense of humor which made my breakfast experience more enjoyable. I ordered pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon, and a milk with breakfast. The food did not take long to get out to me and was perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy. The pancakes were very fluffy but man are they huge! I could only eat about 3/4 of them before I was tapping out. Bottom line? I will definitely be going back to this broken yolk again as is so close to my house and the food is top-notch. You should definitely go check it out..

Date of visit: June 13, 2026 A friend gave me a gift card for Broken Yolk for my birthday in advance of my move to Las Vegas and I was excited to try this place out with my mom and we had a great meal. Host staff were fun and friendly and got us to a table right away--the parking lot was so full I thought for sure we were going to have a wait but that thankfully was not the case. Kelly was our server and she was also very friendly but she was missing for a bit when we were ready to get things wrapped up and get on the road to the Hoover Dam. But the food was very good: I went with the Strawberry Banana Smoothie and Blueberry Short Stack of pancakes. Both were excellent, with the pancakes massive (how is this a short stack?!) and ended up being a couple meals for me. Say what you want about large portions, but pancakes actually heat up fairly well and I enjoy making a meal stretch out a bit. The smoothie had just the right amount of sweetness to it, which I find rare and call a win! It seemed like a lot of the servers were on a first name basis with the customers, and I aspire to have that kind of rapport with the staff some day!

After an early morning stop we came here for the first time and loved it. I started off requesting a spizzzy Bloody Mary and it was perfect and even came with a slice of bacon like they do in all of San Luis Obispo that I haven't seen in years. Our waitress Kelly was completely on point and gave the kind of customer service you hope to get at a well run breakfast house, super friendly and on time with refills. I went with the chicken fried steak and eggs that were massive and really good. We also ordered a more traditional breakfast plate that was cooked to order. About 3/4 of the way through our meal it had dawned on my fiancé that our waitress had gone to school with her son in ...wait for it...elementary school some roughly 15 years earlier. Next time she came around we asked and lo and behold it was....small world theory in effect. So let's review... great reviews on Yelp already, clean restaurant, well-made drinks, great food, incredibly great customer service and friendly faces from the past. You can't go wrong coming here. We will definitely be back sooner than later.

This place is a always a solid yes on service and quality! My hubby had the gluten free cinnamon pancakes. Kelly was our server this time and she was right there with refills and checking in on us...you know the just right balance. We thought it would be quiet on a Monday but it was just as hopping as a weekend. Patio weather will be here soon...ok maybe not that soon...but their breezy enclosed patio will be great for those cool morning brunches. Highly recommend if in the Henderson area.

came in with a reservation and thank god i did because it was absolutely packed! at first they were going to seat us outside, but with the vegas heat we were accommodated to an indoor table after waiting an additional 15 minutes. the food was okay, i mean it was super busy, so i can't really complain. nothing was outstanding, and there was a bit of a communication issue with the kitchen and server as we ordered 2 items with steaks and they told us they only had 1 left, then said they had enough, and after our food came out realized they actually didn't have enough and we had to order a different dish. other than that, everything was fine. there was plenty of seating, but wow it was still packed. casual place though

After my son's 8th grade promotion, he chose BYC for brunch. Our current favorite brunch place. Always great service and atmosphere. I tried the no name omelette, extra crispy hashbrowns and sourdough toast. It was ok, next time I'm sticking with meat lovers omelette. The no name had a lot of bacon and it was kinda soggy. I still enjoyed it until the end. My wife always the avocado toast. It's her favorite dish here. My son got a chicken wrap with fries and I didn't get a pic. But he inhaled it. We shared the lemon ricotta pancakes and took the rest home. We were stuffed. Thank you BYC. I forgot our servers name but she was friendly and kind.

****Shhhhh local hack..... look at the bar area - open seating and you get time with the amazing Brie!!! Lovely greetings always and with over 10 yrs of experience she makes bartending actually look easy. I know it is not but she is very efficient and makes killer drinks! We had a mimosa and a flight Bloody Mary's! The food, as always, was amazing! Normally, I need to travel across Henderson to get great Machaca. But to be honest, this machaca is heaven! Not too spicy but fresh and the perfect ratio of meat to eggs and veggies! My gf had a o toast with smoked salmon and there was nothing left! Wait till you see the pics! I had to add one of the plate I demolished! Thanks again for your amazing service Brie!!!!!

So my body was craving a specific thing today...cholesterol. Broken Yolk caters to that need in a variety of ways with a massive menu hitting all cuisines. On deck was a Chicken Fried Steak, 4 over easy eggs, and butter soaked sourdough toast, all the things a body needs. Couple that with a brunch-time vodka OJ and I'm set! My sidekick went with a healthier option of tomato soup, fruits/greens salad, and turkey BLT sandwich. All was great with food, no issues as it came out fast and hot. The restaurant, like with many of the other Broken Yolk locations around town was packed. This was at 1pm so I can't imagine the wait at say 9am or 10am. We found open seats at the bar so we were pleased and the service was warm and super fast. No complaints with the ambiance here as it has clean restrooms, a clean inside, and sports on at the bar. The parking here is another issue as it's tight since it shares the lot with several restaurants including fast food joints. All in all a winner at pretty cheap prices for the portions you receive.

We took our 21+ son here because they were offering a Star Wars mimosa float for SW Day weekend (Friday through Monday) and he's a crazy big fan. He's a spectrum kid and SW is one of his Big 3. They had the movies playing on their TV's and the staff were probably 50% in SW tees or other things. He ordered Tiki Toast, I got Ranchero Skillet, and wife got classic Avo Toast. Floats came first, we downed the blueberry and half the green apple before the food came. My meal was great. I enjoyed their sauce, the chorizo was good not super greasy like some tend to be. Eggs cooked just right (over medium, no runny whites, still runny yolk). Small portion compared to a lot of breakfast places, but the flavor was good. He loved his Tiki Toast. Sweet for sure, but that's completely expected. I enjoyed the small bite I had, but def a dessert for me, not breakfast. Wife said her toast was kind of bland and small. She ended up getting an avo toast next door at Better Buzz in addition and liked it more. I didn't try hers. The flight: The Blueberry was his favorite--I got more of a blue raspberry vibe. Flavor was good. Sweet, but not overpowering, though the syrup used did have a bitter end that enhanced the champaign's bitter end so it was extra bitter to me on the finish. Green Apple--I think it was green apple, it had a lime slice as a garnish. Tasted like green apple. It was a good flavor, not too sweet, not bitter, just right in the middle. It was my favorite. Strawberry--I think was both of our least favorite (well, tied with Raspberry). It just barely had much flavor, it was like a sweet champaign with a fruity smell. If I was blindfolded and given this drink, I wouldn't have been able to identify strawberry. Raspberry--Wow. Like, wow, this was sweet af. I can add a single pump of raspberry syrup to my 40oz water to add a sweetness to it. I think this had 2 pumps in just a few ounces. I had to add water to make it drinkable and even then it was very, very sweet. I'm assuming this was to get the purple color. It was pucker face/shudder sweet. Was it fun? Heck yeah. Lori, I believe was our waitress. She was great. Super fun, showed us pictures of her in her rebel pilot helmet, complimented our SW swag and just gave the impression of happy to be there. Gave great suggestions as well. Overall, I was pleased. It was a fun experience, good food for me and the boy, and a fun themed flight. The price almost dropped another star, but the fun made up for it. The floats were 17 bucks, by the way. Not crazy, but on the higher end. Same with the food--smaller portions for same or slightly higher pricing.

We came to this location with a party of 7 after the one at Town Square wasn't at all accommodating for a large party. I spoke with Marie, who was very sweet and helpful in putting our large party on the waitlist. Our server was friendly and quick and everyone enjoyed their food. They even brought me out a happy birthday muffin - which I would never have expected at a breakfast place. We will definitely be back!

A good time was had. Audrie was kind and very hospitable, the Californian omelet was top tier, only thing I come back for. We came right before the breakfast rush-hour so this is one of those early bird gets the worm type of situations. Ambiance was great. 10/10

Excellent service with such a friendly attitude and food wqs delicious and fresh. Great options to choose from. But I wish they also have some plump chicken wings. Overall, Broken Yolk is great to have near me. It's right off the main St Rose Prkwy. East acces to the freeway. Bar service is great! Wide open spaces and seating. Great lighting . Specially drinks were tasty
