My family and I have been coming to this location for a few years. Food and service has always been good until today. Normally we would come in in the morning after dropping the kids off at school. Today the kids had a 1/2 day, so I decided to bring them in for lunch. The person at the front was awesome and gave the kids easter eggs with a toy in them to keep them busy. Once we were seated it took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged and be asked for our drink order. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as the kids were hungry. The food came out, but one of the orders was wrong (no big deal, we got it fixed). Kids drank their drinks, no refills were ever brought. After 30 minutes of not being checked on (empty glass at the end of the table) I flagged a server and asked for a water refill and the check. 5 minutes pass she says that her manager can ring us up in the front. By this time I'm really upset, my child is thirsty and I just want to leave. I walk to the front, they ask me my servers name to print out the check. I have no clue of his name (tall, white guy). I let them know that we've come in several times and the service was terrible today. Literally our server took our food and drink orders, asked how the food was, corrected the food mistake and then ghosted us. $51 for lunch (adult and two children) and my kids walked out thirsty. I got the Meat Lovers Omelette, a hearty breakfast dish packed with bacon, sausage, and ham folded into fluffy eggs. It's usually topped with melted cheese and served with hash browns or toast. It's filling, savory, and very protein-heavy. The chicken fried steak and eggs is a hearty breakfast with a crispy, breaded steak topped in warm, creamy gravy. It comes with eggs cooked your way, plus hash browns or toast on the side. It's rich, savory, and very filling. Service was great--friendly, quick, and attentive. We decided to try this breakfast spot based on Yelp reviews, and while the food and service were great, the check-in experience was frustrating. Since it was about a 25-minute drive from our hotel, I joined the waitlist on Yelp, which estimated a 20-30 minute wait. This seemed perfect, as we assumed our table would be ready upon arrival. However, when we got there, the app still showed us as 3rd in line. We waited in the car for 44 minutes, only to still see the same status. Finally, my husband decided to go inside to check, and surprisingly, they seated him right away. When I walked in, I noticed plenty of available tables. It was frustrating to waste time waiting in the car when the app could have been updated more accurately. Aside from that, everything else was great. Our waitress was attentive, took our order quickly, and the food arrived in no time. If it weren't for the check-in issue, this would be an easy 5-star experience. 4 stars overall. read more

First time I decided on take-out from this location (I have eaten here before), the place was very busy so I decided on take-out instead. I ordered a waffle and added on the eggs and bacon for a total of 18-19 dollars. I received the ba and walked to my car only to open my waffle and find it COLD. My eggs and bacon barely warm. I waited for a bit to even get the take-out and was extremely upset to have just spent 19 bucks on a cold waffle and barely warm eggs and bacon. How is the timing of the food variant in temperature? Where is the quality control to make sure the food ia right? Clearly the kitchen staff are overwhelmed but I'm truly disappointed and refused to go back in there to wait even longer for them to fix it. Broken yolk - you guys started out truly strong in the Henderson community but are quickly declining in quality and service. Hope you fix it, there are plenty of eateries that charge must less for breakfast. read more

Broken Yoke in Henderson, NV, is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was exceptional--easily some of the best breakfast dishes we've had in a long time. The Chilaquiles were incredible--the best I've ever had! Perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of spice. My daughter couldn't get enough of the Belgian waffles, and my wife raved about the corned beef hash. Sat at the bar and the bar tender Michael was the absolute sweetest! My mimosa was perfect and the food was delicious. The sweet customer sitting next to me mentioned it was my birthday and Michael brought me out the nicest happy birthday plate with a yummy blueberry muffin. For being alone on your birthday I felt special there. Kevin one of the waiters walked up to me and wished me happy birthday and even another customer at the bar. When I tell you from the smile & kind greet at the host stand to our wait on service, food taste all was fantastic! My daughter LOVED her omelette & ate it all. I usually go to the one on LV BLVD but I decided to go to this location since it is closer to my house. The fries that came with my burger were cold and could've been made fresh. I also ordered the Cali breakfast burrito which came with a side of rice and beans, the burrito itself was good but the rice was hard and the beans were room temp. It was obvious that the items were sitting for a while. If it were closer to closing time, I would've kinda understood but I came in at 12:45 and ordered my 1:00 pm, 2 hours before they closed. A great, and much needed breakfast, lunch, and brunch place in West Henderson particularly on St Rose. The menu is fantastic, with a myriad of choices. It was so much fun just to look at it as there was something for every palate, even for the kids. We chose to sit at the counter, and were served by Dana, who was fantastic! I recommend the Broken Yolk Cafe in Henderson, NV. First of all the workers are soooo nice and if you see Phil or Kevin to talk to them about anything they will listen and respond back with whatever you need and they will even make you laugh. Next the food they brought us was amazing it doesn't matter what dish you get it just's melts in your mouth, and makes you eat it all. I'm telling you, my friends, the Broken Yolk in Henderson is a real winner. I mean, I've had some pancakes in my day, but these cinnamon pancakes? They're better than a Cinnabon, and I love me some Cinnabon. I'll tell you something else, they don't skimp on the mimosas either. I ordered the Short Rib Hash, and it was packed with flavor. I honestly couldn't tell what seasoning they use, but it was so good. I also tried the Banana Hazelnut Latte with oat milk. It was incredibly smooth and delicious--I finished it way too fast! I usually ask for hot sauce at every restaurant, but not here. The food was so flavorful that I didn't want to change the original taste. A special shoutout to Lucy, our server. She was the sweetest, kindest, and friendliest server. She made our visit even better. Love the interior and the overall vibe. We'll definitely be back every time we visit Las Vegas!

Her joy was truly contagious and such a blessing to our family that morning. And the breakfast burritos?! SO GOOD! Seriously some of the best we've ever had. EXCEPT IT TASTES LIKE PARMESAN!?!? I suspect it was from the day before and went sour. Also, gross. Shouldn't you be making it fresh everyday?? But it ruined what should have been a lovely breakfast. Not impressed with the way it was handled at all. Won't be going back.

But if you're not set on a regular table and don't mind sitting at the bar-top seating, definitely check there first. We found three open seats right away, walked in, sat down, and ordered -- no wait! I had one of their Tuna Melt Sandwiches, Joey had a plain cheeseburger, and Jade had the banana bread French toast. I also ordered their mimosa special, which was really good! Parking is a little limited, but we lucked out and got a spot right out front. Service was great -- everyone was attentive, friendly, and super helpful, even with how busy they were. Great food, great service, and a fun, lively atmosphere. Place is super easy to find, you cannot miss the logo and there is plenty of parking. One thing I like about this place was they have a lot of outdoor seating and the even air fans with misters on them, which is great for these very warm mornings. Inside place was bright and airy. Lots of wood. Only took a moment to be seated, started off my meal with water and a coffee. They were pretty busy, so service took a little bit longer than expected, it was definitely not a bad. The coffee was strong just the way I like it. I decided to order the blackened prime rib eggs Benedict, which also came with hash browns. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it came on a croissant rather than a English muffin, no worries either way, it was delicious. The meat was really well. Seasoned and wild and hash browns were kind of pedestrian they were. They were cooked to a very good crisp and was a nice compliment to the rest of the meal. The bottom line? I would definitely come back here again and check out all the different things this place has to offer..

It's the avenue to el pueblo de sabor…read more Huevos Avenue got on my radar after they first opened in Boulder City, but I still didn't feel like checking them out (despite being relatively closer than most non-BC residents) until their second location appeared. It's on Sunset in the same plaza as Todd's Unique Dining. They have a video poker bar from the old business but it looked pretty dead [EDIT: I did overlook the alcohol options on the menu] The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. Check them out for Mexican breakfast if you find yourself in the area.

It was a Monday morning so there was only one other table in, but as time went by, the place started to really fill up. The space is a bit small but they use their small space pretty well. It's nicely decorated with Italia and American Italian things. It's not too busy though so I appreciate that. Just enough on the walls to be interesting but not overwhelming. Our server was super nice and attentive. She was so apologetic about not having iced coffee right away but it came pretty fast in my opinion. The food also came out pretty fast after ordering. The food was really good. My husband absolutely loved his chicken fried steak and thought the gravy was excellent. I had a really good omelet but I was enamored with the pancake. It was nice and crispy but also very tender on the inside. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be dining in again soon.

Yes, this location has a slower pace and smaller. The talk among the team is audible. I parked in back and on street is less complicated. The restroom is located out the front door to the left side of the building with a code however no signage is posted. You are notified once you open the door to the supply closet. I ordered a breakfast strudel. Savory but a little dry and maybe it needs a little more filling but that could make it soggy. Not sure but I understand the concept and was interested. Just a little messy because of the flaky dough.

I've been here multiple times to do some coworking with my friends. The working tables are spacious and have plenty of outlets for the whole group. I got a lavender matcha for my morning caffeine and by lunch time I ordered a a prosciutto avocado toast with a galaxy ade for a refreshing drink. I wish I was given actual silverware though, because I was struggling using the plastic utensils to slice through the toast. I love the quiet ambiance and cozy decor, and I can easily spend the whole day getting some work done here.
