Friends were raving about this place so I had to come check it out! The burrito was very filling and all the ingredients came together well, though I wished there was a second slice of bacon given the size of the burrito. The servers were nice and food came out fast! I understand why people love it.

Stopped by on my way to work at 5:45 am. The food was amazing. I ordered their Bronco burrito with Barbacoa. This enormous burrito arrived piping hot with a savory green salsa, which has just the perfect amount of heat. The servers were friendly and courteous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining environment was clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Galveston. Me encanto el burrito recommendable 100% . La attention super buena.

Been coming here since high school and it's still a delicious and filling breakfast burrito. They haven't messed with it and it's worth it. Parking can be busy in the mornings but we went on a Wednesday at 10 so it went quickly. We ordered online and it was ready in ten minutes and not the 15 it said. We love a fast service!

It excites me to find the gems that the locals love, and this is one of them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It gives me that 'welcome home' feeling when you go into an establishment and everyone greets you as if they're welcoming you into their home for a good meal[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is limited but the food is a plenty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every burrito on the menu is a filler. I opted for the namesake; Bronco Burrito because I had to. Hats off to anyone that puts one down and doesn't need a nap. It's easily 2-3 lbs of all the breakfast staples wrapped in a delicious flour tortilla. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is get in enjoy your food, chat with the staff, and keep it moving.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back the next time I'm on the island.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Always a great sign when a restaurant is busy during the pouring rain![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tender pork chop paired with a fresh tortilla and spicy homemade sauce. The attentive service was a welcome treat.

May 19, 2023 Haven't been here in years and man, I forgot how big and delicious their burritos are Today I got a migas burrito with bacon- so good. And the green salsa - which is all they serve is tasty with a kick Friendly staff

Just not a lot of flavor. Pretty average.

Super average. Small for a burrito. People were nice. Friends talked this place up but just super average.

The restaurant is small and intimate, with a nice-sized bar near the entrance that makes for a great place to enjoy a drink before dinner. One tip: be sure to pay attention to the dress code. We saw guests turned away for not meeting it, so it's definitely enforced. The service was absolutely spectacular. Everything was perfectly synchronized--from the drinks arriving and set on the table together, to each course being served in unison, to the timely clearing of plates. It's the kind of attentive, polished service that has become increasingly rare. We started with the ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, followed by the empanadas. They were all good, although the shrimp empanada wasn't my favorite. For our entrées, we had the salmon, the filet, and the lamb chops. The salmon was perfectly prepared, the filet was so tender it practically melted in your mouth, and the lamb chops were some of the best my husband has ever had. With exceptional service, outstanding food, and an elegant atmosphere, Rudy & Paco's absolutely lived up to its reputation. We'll definitely be back. Just be sure to plan ahead for reservations--and don't forget to follow the dress code!

We were there for our 27th wedding anniversary and were pampered by the staff all evening! The cuisine is Nicaraguan-inspired seafood and proteins, which I was not familiar with at all, but everything we had was delicious. The meal begins with fried crispy plantains with two different dipping sauces that are heavenly. We chose the empanadas for our appetizers, then I had the sea scallops while my husband ordered a seafood pasta dish. The restaurant is quiet and elegant, but not at all stuffy. They treated us to cake at the end, which is the only thing I got a picture of (sorry!!) but I so recommend this restaurant!!

My go‑to is the Tex‑Mex Enchiladas, and I always order them with a mix of fajita beef and chicken. The enchiladas as is are great, but adding that fajita meat turns them into something you look forward to before you even get there. The beef and chicken are tender, well‑seasoned, and make the whole plate feel like the best version of comfort food. The fajitas, as their own entrée, are legitimately good. Not the tourist‑bait sizzle show you see up and down the seawall, not a gimmick, not a performance -- just solid, flavorful fajita beef and chicken that taste like someone actually knows what they're doing. Get the horchata. Doesn't matter if it's with your meal or as a little treat afterward. It's cinnamon‑sweet, refreshing, and exactly the kind of small reward everyone deserves. And once you're done, there's a snack stand next door with snow cones, elotes, and a bunch of other things that make no logical sense after a full dinner but somehow feel perfect anyway. No idea if it's connected to Gordita's, but it's a great way to finish off a meal that didn't need any help to begin with.

The interior and decor is like Tex-Mex style, with fancy light fixtures. Their food arrives fresh and hot from the kitchen. The staff are kind and patient. Still, the name Shuko had me curious, it's one of Guatemala's most iconic street foods, so I had to try it. For those who don't know, a traditional Guatemalan shuko is street food done right: grilled bun, steamed hot dog, Guatemalan-style guacamole (no onions or tomatoes), sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup, and mayo. Their take here is a bit different no guac on mine, but still packed with flavor. A mix of grilled meats, sauerkraut, and condiments all stuffed into a roll. Definitely not traditional, but still tasty. I also tried one of their pupusas, and it hit the spot. A classic revuelta melted cheese and chicharrón oozing out of a perfectly griddled corn masa pocket. Comfort food, plain and simple. Only downside The fries. They were undercooked, a little limp. Just needed a bit more time in the fryer. But overall, if you're into street food with a Central American twist, Shuko 502 is worth the stop.
