I wish I could give more stars in this review, because this is the nicest restaurant I've ever gone to. The atmosphere, the food, and the service was far above the norm of where my family usually goes to and it was a welcome change! Shannon (our server) was the nicest person I have met in the food industry, and she was honestly the best server I have ever had. If this restaurant was closer to home I'd go every other week! This is a place we have passed by amd seen from interstate for 8 years and always said we have to try. We picked up the grandkids this morning and they wanted breakfast and we agreed as long as we could pick. From the moment we drove up the place was busy but the parking lot is spacious and the parking spots are not tiny and crammed. We were seated right away. There is a main waitress but we were taken care of as there are other helpers coming and going in-between. I asked right away for coffee. Just a regular cup of coffee was brought out but when I opened the menu I saw that there was a full coffee bar. I had the best vanilla latte ever. We all ordered food. It was all excellent and came out fast. My granddaughter was excited because she got to substitute her hash-browns for tater-tots. My husband was able to order a hamburger during breakfast so he was happy too. But all I want to express is how fabulous the scones are. They even sell them by the dozen. I cannot believe l've passed this place so many times and didn't know the best dang scones were sitting there waiting for me. Today I had the coconut cream scone. My husband tried it and immediately ordered on for himself. We drive past here no less than three times a week and let me tell you it's our new stop. New to the area and friends suggested to meet here. Had low expectations, honestly, because we knew nothing about it. But to our surprise, it's a cute and local family chain. We came in for breakfast and I had the Western Skillet, which was hearty and satisfying. I shared half with my husband, who ordered the tuna melt. He mentioned it had more mayo than he prefers, but it was still a solid meal. We were seated quickly, but service was slow. We were told the waiters were sharing our section, and hardly anyone came by. We ended up going to the bar area just to ask for refills and anything else we needed, the girl behind the bar was nice and apologetic. What we thought would be a quick lunch turned into an 2 hour-long visit. Still, the food was good and my husband is already talking about coming back when they have clam chowder on the menu. Took my friend there for her birthday. She had her favorite-the French Dip. I had the Reuben and both were delicious! This was our second visit to Brookfields. The first was for breakfast which was great. The service and food were great as was the ambiance. We just went tonight 2/3/26 to try dinner. Again, our server was exceptional, the food was great. My wife had the salmon and I had the chicken fried steak. The timing of service for the drinks, breads, salads, and entree was perfect. The servers are always so friendly and polite, with smiles. The food has always been first rate and if you have to exchange carbs for something else, they have no problem accommodating you. The ambience is nice in that they have real plants, always looks clean, and even when very busy, the noise level and service is good. Have never had to wait long to be seated. read more

Horribly rude server, who tossed our plates on the table, did not bring us any utensils, and after we received our food we never were asked if we need anything when she went passed our table. She ignored us when we asked for our check. We went there before and was served rancid cheesecake and they refused to give one of us a free tapioca. We'll never come back. My wife and I both appreciate Brookfields very much. They are family oriented, as highlighted by the decor. There are old family pictures throughout the facility which makes for a warm and homey feel. They make all their food from scratch; everything always tastes great, and the presentation of the food is always pleasing. Last night was no different, the food was good; it might have been even better if it had been served a little sooner. Both the soup and entree I ordered had that film that develops as it sits under a heat lamp, and the temperature of both was not nearly hot enough. Our server was busy, but it wasn't that busy.... My water glass dried up a couple of times and should have been refilled much sooner. Overall though, we had a nice time. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

My wife and I have traditionally liked this restaurant. Had been going for years prior to COVID and this week went to the Roseville location. Nice, clean restaurant as we have always remembered. Our breakfast was what we typically order and prices had doubled...literally. When the food arrived it was barely warm. I love Brookfields. They are the perfect place for home-cooked large portion meals. I work by the one in Rancho and frequent it often but have never been to the Roseville location. We were seated quickly, and our server was attentive and friendly. I asked about the sandwich since it was a new menu item and she said it's popular and many people like it. Service was fine. Our server was nice & checked on us. This reminds me of Black Bear Diner, food & decor. My Melt Burger was okay but the onion rings were sad. I had 7.25 onion rings. I preferred the onion rings over my melt. The rye bread was pretty overpowering & the meat with grilled onions had zero taste. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash & it was pretty terrible. It had an odd taste (nothing spoiled or anything like that). The seasoning was off & it was interesting to see green onions in it. I would not come back. read more

The food is great! I love going here with family and not having to wash the dishes after! They have lots of options for both breakfast and dinner and our favorites are the Santa Fe Benedict and the Pulled pork sandwich! I love the homey atmosphere and the farm-look of the decor! The soup of the day is a really nice touch The waiter staff is so friendly and the service always puts a smile on my face. Shannon is the best waitress and always bends over backwards to accommodate my meddling kids. She's super sweet and somehow always finds sweets in her pocket that she gives to the children! My husband and I stopped here for breakfast today and had great service but very mediocre food. I ordered the açaí bowl and he ordered biscuits and gravy. Not ADA compliant to bariatric patients. Requested to order off of the kids menu and explained why but was denied and in leu the wait staff mimicked the order but as adult portions and then rang it up individually as sides. This is against the law as I am protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. It was a complete waste of food at my expense as my surgically altered stomach only holds 8oz of food at a time. Shame on you - Do better! I hope you realize you broke the law and can be fined. read more

The kids plate was a good serving for $6.50. But for $17 I didn't think the western skillet was worth it. It wasn't hot enough for me and was just ok. I probably wouldn't order again. This was our first time trying this location but we eat Brookfields often. This was the first time I've tried the skillet. I usually get a sandwich and I will probably stick with the sandwiches. Just have to say, this is the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. The mashed potatoes are perfect. And... the country gravy is out of this world! Great Food, service was fast and friendly. Recommend the Denver Omelette with cheddar cheese. Latte was perfect. Hostess even warmed it up with coffee when it was down to almost empty. So I went here a couple of weeks ago and it was my first time and was not sure what to expect or order...now that I have been here, I would comeback again. Our server was amazing and kind to our table. The food literally comes in huge portions. I ordered the fried steak which literally was and juicy. I had to try the beef dip as it appears to be voted #1 in the area. It lived up to it. The sandwich had so much beef. The bread was fresh.
