The two gentlemen who run the counter are both nice, smart, and quick, a rare combination. Their bagels are near perfect. Their scallion cream cheese is delicious. Their chorizo is amazing. (price per pound is $9.99) I called the store to let the owner know I was unhappy and told him I couldn't eat it and would be throwing it away. Their food is good enough to make you a regular. Bagels are made on prem and they are on point. Everything bagel is my favorite. A bit pricey but not a deal breaker. Biggest problem the place has is the staff. There is only 1 guy on that team, a younger heavy set gentleman that works the mornings, that is great to deal with.... Everyone else... Good luck. Not friendly at all. Again not a deal breaker. Today however I drew the line, as it's the 3rd time I enter and quickly leave after seeing the cook not wearing a mask. The owners not too far and setting the tone wearing their mask under their chins. Brought it up to one of them and they just dismissed me. At this point I give up. Bummed the reviews for this place are so bad, I've only had good experiences. This place is super close to my office, and on the way back from court, so it's easy for me to pop in and out on off times when they are not so busy. First off, the bagels from here are top notch. 5 stars all the way. Their prepared salads are great. Some of the best egg salad I've ever had. The hot breakfast sandwiches are made to order and very tasty- they use good quality bacon. I'm only taking off 1 star because the cinnamon raisin cream cheese was almost spicy from the amount of cinnamon in there. Not appetizing. read more
