I grew up in Brooklyn so I know good pizza. I had ordered the pizza from Brooklyn V's a few months ago and wasn't impressed. Tonight I figured I'd try out their pasta dishes. We got the Fettuccine Carbonara, Fried Jalapeño Ravioli, and kids pasta. It was delivered quickly, however I wasn't impressed with the pasta dishes either. My wife agreed that they lacked flavor. However, I am a big fan of their tiramisu although the center was frozen. Regardless, it was great. I'd go back for that and not the meals. read more

Omg this place is amazing. Have tried a variety salads, pastas, pizzas, appetizers, and desserts. Everything was fresh, right temperature and textures, very tasty, little higher price point than others but it is definitely worth it. Last night my daughter ordered her Dad's birthday dinner from the Queen Creek location (to be delivered by Grub Hub). It was the worst food I've ever had, from the wings & pizza, to the eggplant parm, it should have gone straight to the garbage! Some of the wings were so small (maybe 2" long), pizza so mushy-not even cooked on the bottom! The eggplant was like chewing leather. Ordered the spaghetti with sauce on the side which we never received! I feel horrible because she spent a lot of her hard earned money only to be disappointed by this horrible dinner! We will never order from there again! Spaghetti stiff as a rock, no sauce, unheard of! So disappointing and a waste of money! We are not a picky eater but I think the manager should pay closer attention to the food being prepared and sent for delivery! Horrible!!!! Tried this place for the first time after reading outstanding reviews - not sure if those people just don't know about really good NY Pizza or they just have low standards? So far we are Barro's devotees, but also like to try new places. Big mistake tonight. The crust was like soggy cardboard,sauce was tasteless, no spices or flavor,but the worst part was you couldn't even get a piece out of the box before the entire topping slid off of crust, entire pie was like this! The only good thing I can say is they don't skimp on the cheese, but I didn't order globs of cheese with crust on the side. Hence the pictures showing downward flop... Also ordered mozzarella sticks (nothing to write home about). Wanted to order creme Brule cheesecake that was advertised on online menu, but when we placed order was told they don't have that. Was offered raspberry,chocolate chip cookie dough or plain and- we decided to go with plain. Upon opening box at home, looks like we ended up with chocolate chip cookie dough, but piece is 1 step up from a sample and cookie dough is microscopic...Definitely not worth the money! read more

The pizza is an 8 out of 10. We carried out, it was cold by the time we got home. We only live about 10 minutes away. Wish it had a bit more crunch on the crust. The toppings were also not evenly spread out. This place has potential, there's no decent mom and pop pizza shop in QC so if they sort out these minor things this is actually a good pizza joint. read more

We came in for the first time tonight. We actually called to check if the store was busy on our way in, and we were reserved a table before we got there, which was awesome, because shortly after we arrived, it got super busy. We ordered a side salad, calamari, 2 drafts, and 3 big pizzas. You could see the huge dough machine in the back, so you know it's all made in house- fresh. You can see the guys in the back flipping and twirling fresh dough balls- so you know it's going to be good pizza....... but this pizza was so- so. It was really good when it was hot and fresh, but the minute it cooled off, it became more and more tough and flavorless. I really enjoyed the brick oven cooking, but combined with very thin, chewy dough, it was so hard to chew. It wasnt bad pizza, but also wasn't too amazing. My wife and went out last night to Barro's pizza here in Queen Creek to enjoy the usual delicious pizza and beer. We would like to thank all the customers that arrived and left with facemasks on, and MOST of the staff that wore them. If you think the mask makes no difference that is OK and your right, but when the front door requests it then please be a reasonable human and follow that request, if not don't go in - your choice. Now the ones that walk in carrying one in their hand, pocket, bag etc. The rule stands for all, you just hoping that the staff member doesn't have the balls to request one. If you refuse to wear one it makes you look like you are a big A H, are you one of those hoping for a confrontation and argument and be posted all over the public media like a few A H'S I don't need to mention. Best New York Style pizza in the east valley. Great customer service and the place is very clean. Highly recommend this place.

I was planning a night out so I got the kids some food. I ordered the food on Yelp using grubhub scheduled it ahead to arrive at 5:00pm the following day. It was quick, so easy and super fast. Even though the food was late and arrive at 5:30pm. The kids enjoyed eating the mild wings, honey hot wings and a side salad. The price of the delivery was very affordable and the food was delicious. Very Good pizza, not to much sauce, thin crust and hot & bubbly cheese with our choice of fresh garlic topping, made just the way we like it. The TVs could be larger, the dining area could be a little more romantic; that would go with the great Sinatra radio that is playing. We are first time guest and it's more Italian than just pizza; we will try the pastas next time. The deserts all look good, but very sugary, so I must try to avoid. We also enjoyed one of their fresh salads. Would have tried the wings, we just do not put deep fried foods in our bodies any more. Anna the mgr here is always so friendly when we've engaged with her as one time we didn't care for the meatball subs (bread was far too hard) and she quickly took back and got us something else. I've eaten at the Brooklyn V's Pizza location on Warner and Lindsay, and never had an issue. That location is dependable, especially for takeout. I recently had the misfortune of ordering takeout from the Queen Creek location, and let's just say, the additional drive to the Lindsay/Warner location is worth it, if it means I never have to deal with this staff again. I should have known what I was in for the moment I walked in the door. There was no rhyme or reason to the takeout process. The two staffers were clearly overwhelmed and disorganized. The one thing they did accomplish was getting Doordash orders out, at the expense of other orders. My order was quoted as being ready in 20 minutes, I showed up 35 minutes after making my order(I tend to give takeout additional time due to COVID and on high volume days) and it wasn't even close to being ready. I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for my order and no one seemed to care. When I asked about my order, the staff merely rolled their eyes and walked away. Eventually, I received my order. Cold, Overcooked pizza, rubbery calamari and bone dry fried ravoli...HOORAY! This entire experience was a waste of my time. I understand there's a global pandemic, I understand that it was a Friday night, but if you can't execute basic takeout as a pizza joint then there's no reason for you to exist. Congrats, you managed to provide a worse experience than Little Caesars. read more

Portions were very generous so we had plenty of leftovers for dinner. -First review-My kids have eaten at both this location and the Gilbert one several times and they kept telling me how much they loved the pizza. Finally got a chance today to try it and ordered a cheese pie, half pepperoni. It was delicious! The crust was perfect and as good as I have had here in AZ to compare to all the Brooklyn pizza I grew up on. Called in a pick up order, adda caprese salad and spaghetti and meatballs. Ate here with my cousin who lives within 5 miles of this pizza spot. We were in AZ for a Girls Academy Soccer Showcase. Being from Kentucky we only have a handful of advertised NYC Pizza places and of those 5.....only two are really good and close to traditional NYC Pie. This place in AZ was very very close, but still really good. We started off with boneless wings, jalapeño poppers and Mozz. sticks for the table and then got two pizzas. The boneless wings were excellent, but the mozz sticks were served lukewarm and weren't of even mediocre quality (especially for an NYC pizza place) so I started to worry about how the pizza would be. I don't care for jalapeño poppers so I didn't eat any, but they were met with a "meh" review from those in our party that like them typically. The pizza comes out and the whole experience does almost a 180. Very excellent pizza. Great crust, sauce and cheese. Sauce had some tang, but wasn't overly robust or weird either, cheese was AWESOME (I'm guessing Grande' brand). If they would have crisped up the crust just a few more minutes this is a five star pie. Outside of boneless wings the apps. we had are very forgettable. The mozz. sticks were inexcusably bad. Lastly, service was a great part of the meal due to our server Ivy. Such a pleasant and nice personality and could not have been more accommodating to everyone. There was a table of four New Yorkers with heavy NY accents next to us. One of them came to out table and asked what part of NY I was from. He looked wildly shocked when I told him I was born and now lived in Kentucky. I have been told I don't have any hint of a Southern accent but never been told I had a NY accent!! This group told us Brooklyn V's is the only restaurant they go to get a pie like home. Since we were in the middle of Arizona I cant really disagree with them! Highly recommended!! Possibly my favorite pizza ever. I am not a huge pizza person and honestly Peter Piper Pizza hits a craving for me. I try to stay away from Little Caesars , Pizza Hut and Dominos chains. Prices were great for the quality and service was amazing ! Cannolis were small but delicious! Pretty similar to one I've had in Italy. In town visiting, grew up in New York. This pizza was outstanding! We visited the Queen Creek location. This was some of the best pizza we have had outside of New York and actually better than some NY pizzerias and it's very reasonably priced. We saw that they had cannolis on their menu and asked our waitress about them. Her response, we don't make the cannoli cream here but I'm from Staten Island, NY and I think they're pretty good. We got an order to go and she was right! They were really good. This will be a regular stop for us when we are in town visiting. read more
