Love the food. Service though? Ordered pizza and knots over the phone. Arrived to pick up my order, turns out it wasn't ever entered. Showed the girl, Brynlee, that we did call it in. Told her she seems to be the only girl working so must have been her that made the mistake, she didn't say much then deflected and blamed it on another girl who "left at 5". Was asked if i wanted to put it in then or not. I said yes let's put it in. I was not offered anything not even a water while I sat and waited for an order that should've been ready. While waiting I asked the kid that was working if he could let me knows who's in charge as I wanted to ask why I wasn't even apologized to or offered anything, and let them know what happened as these two kids handled this situation poorly, and he told me he didn't know? I questioned his response and he went over to brynlee, they spoke quietly to one another and then she went on about her business ignoring me and the kid didn't say anything. A few minutes later he decided to tell me that Brynlee was actually in charge, so I am glad to know she ignored my request and couldn't care less about customers. I understand accidents happen, but they handled this very poorly as a business. Brynlee didn't even come off as a manager, she could use some leadership and customer service training. Since we had an issue over at Red Robins, we decided to stroll over at Brooklyn V's for the first time. When we walked in, we weren't sure if we made the right choice. Reason being, the decor and environment aren't that great. I was expecting to be more of a restaurant. This seemed to me more of a sports bar/cafeteria feel. However with that said, I am so glad we gave this place a chance! We had a selection of a slice of pizza, wings, garlic knots, and a salad. Wife was happy that they offer Coke products. The pizza was great, you can really taste the pepperoni, and we enjoyed the charred on the crust. I really enjoyed the wings, I was being safe and had the honey bbq. I like when the wings have that fried crunchy texture. The garlic knots were very good also, and wife really enjoyed the salad. Brooklyn V's Queen Creek has been our go-to for pizza almost weekly since it opened 7 years ago. Their food, especially pizza, is always the best. Service is great and Anna, one of the owners, is often there greeting us or even serving us. We have patronized this restaurant more than any other. The most authentic New York slice I've had in Phoenix! It tasted like home. It was the perfect size for folding. Great cheese and dough. Only disappointment was the house salad - do not get it. There aren't too many places in the area that sells pizza by the slice. Brooklyn V's Pizza is one of them. Yesterday was my first time trying them and I'm glad I just ordered one slice. There was absolutely nothing extravagant about it. I knew that immediately once they handled me the box. Why? Because there wasn't much heat coming from the box, very little grease, and once I opened the box it looked so plain. Before biting it I knew it wouldn't taste like much... and after taking one bit I was absolutely right! Like most New York slices of pizza from places like NY, DC, Baltimore or Philly ... the cheese is usually stuck to the paper it's heated on in the box. When you take a bite there's usually cheese oozing from your mouth and you need lots of napkins. I took my first time and it was just a bite, no cheese dragging from my slice, no out of this world flavors in the sauce, nothing, just a slice of pizza. Despite the number of people I noticed coming on to pick up to go orders, I wasn't thrilled to try it again. A few people waiting (about 3 of us) sparked up a convo. All 3 of us never had Brooklyn V's pizza. They were really excited to try it because they've never had NY style pizza before. One woman was a Arizona native. The other woman was from Missouri. Awesome, if you like to tear each bite off of the slice, the bottom crust was that tough--and no, it was not burned. And when you finally get that dough to break apart the ENTIRE top comes off with that bite because the cheese coalesced into a solid sheet of goo with the pepperonis and veggies cooked in (veggies? two strips of green pepper? Wow!) Ok, so the garlic knots ....come on, how can you mess up a garlic knot. It's just dough. Ooooo. Remember what I said about the dough on the pizza? Yeah, tough and hard to bite. And NOT burned. Ugh. So the cheesecake. At least I can salvage the night, right? Only if you like cheesecake that is basically cheesecake that's been turned into whipped cream. No. That's too whippy. Cheesecake needs to have consistency. Go visit a Cheesecake Factory and you'll at least be in the ballpark. Sorry, too many pizza joints and pasta joints. Was in a pinch trying to find some good food in the middle of the night on a weeknight. Rolled up Brooklyn V's and there was already a small line inside so I had a feeling the food would be good. Wasn't disappointed! Had one of their basic cheese pizzas and it was hot and oily with great crust - a true representative of NY-style pizza. Also had a slice of the spinach w/goat cheese and it also was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended for anyone looking for some traditional NY-style pizza! read more

We've been long time customers of Brooklyn V's for New York style pizza. Their pizza is delicious and I love they double cut for us so we have kid-ready slices. I can't go without mentioning the wings though. Their wings both boneless and bone-in are fantastic. Lots of good ingredients and tasty balsamic dressing. Chicken wings above average. Not that thrilled with the pizza. When I spend$18 for a 14" pizza, it better be excellent. Hands down our favorite pizza in the East Valley! We've ordered from their Chandler, Gilbert, and QC locations and can vouch for all of them. The sauce is absolutely delicious, they're generous with the cheese (thank you!), and while we pretty much stick to the same few toppings, we have only good things to say about pepperoni, bacon, and sausage. Delivery always arrives hot and looks mouthwateringly good! Oh, and if you dine in at the Chandler location, they have a Peroni on tap, which is always a nice bonus. read more

Not going to recommend or visit this pizza place anymore! While they have really sweet wait staff, their line cooks and pizza people just don't seem to give a shit about customers' allergies or dietary restrictions or religious restrictions! This place isn't inclusive to vegetarians and shouldn't offer vegetarian options in their menu. We had been regulars here but last 4 times have had pepperoni pieces in our margarita, baked caprese, pineapple Jalapeno custom cheese, and bruschetta pizzas. Twice the person making the pizza wouldn't even listen to the wait staff and argued that it's tomato. For the delivery order via DoorDash for pineapple jalapeño cheese pizza, they refused to even acknowledge on the call despite sending photos as it was completely a wrong order with ham and pineapple. Yesterday we specifically mentioned to our waitress (super nice person who served despite having a cast on her leg), and she said she double checked. But guess what! We ended up with pepperoni again. We have 2 members that are allergic to meat and have anaphylactic reactions. Last night one of us had a reaction and we doubted it could be contaminated. This morning I found pepperoni pieces under the tomato in our leftover slices. This is after specifically requesting them to double check! We have been customers of Brooklyn V's for almost 5 years and it's so disappointing the way customer service has declined. My husband ordered a pizza for pickup online at 5:00 and went to pick it up and was handed an order they had prepared at 4:45 so it was just sitting out:( Then they hand him 2 boxes...1 box with 3/4 of a pizza and another box with a large slice from another pizza. They said one piece got messed up so they took it off our pizza and gave us a slice in a separate box. Instead of just remaking it we got the pictures below. When my husband asked for a refund they said they don't give refunds so he just took the pizza(s) home. I called and asked if that was protocol to just replace damaged slices of a pizza and they said yes. Not one employee apologized which blew my mind and when I asked to talk to the manager I was just placed on hold indefinitely. The pizza tasted decent but it wasn't warm from sitting out. We are just really disappointed in how they handle their business. We will drive a little further and go to Venezia 's next time. read more

This pizza place is full of kind and caring people. They gave a sale on large pizzas where most of the sales went to their employees for these hard times. And people took advantage of it! When we came in to collect our pizzas they had tons that people that weren't going to get. Tragic that a lot of their hard work went to waste. I wasn't super hungry because we got ice cream before (life's short, eat dessert first), anyhooo, I saw that they had a kid's menu which is my go to whenever I'm not like starving. I got the kid's fettuccine Alfredo - super delish and super garlicky! MY FAVORITE. The side meatball was super cheap ($2.50 - perfect) and that was good too! Super saucy. We shared a side salad, it was whatever; just lettuce, some sliced red onions, lil tomatoes & olives (but I felt the need for some greens). He got the meat stromboli and that was SOOOOO cheesy! I've written a couple reviews on this place in the past. 1 was REALLY GOOD and last April 21 NOT SO GOOD. Actually it was pretty depressing. Well long story short we decided after a long day of driving, that we would go local and decided to try Brooklyn V's (Queen Creek) again. After our last visit I wasn't really excited to return. We were pleasantly surprised that the food, a Chicken Stromboli was very very good. In asking if things had changed, the response was "yes" and to our view that change as very welcome. We really like the wings here, but I decided to get something different tonight. We ordered through Ubereats. DO NOT order the spaghetti with clam sauce. The sauce is oily and greasy. I can't really explain the taste. It's bland but weird at the same time. This is the worst part... The clams look like tiny mushed eyeballs, but they are a see-through skin color. We come here all the time, and have been since Vito opened the first Brooklyn V's location around a decade ago. However, we were less than impressed this visit. My dad always gets a chicken parm hero, and constantly says it's the best, but this time the middle of the sandwich was cold. I tried the penne with chicken and broccoli, which was advertised as being tossed in garlic and oil, but it came lukewarm with hard chicken, cold broccoli, and whatever this soupy water was. The penne was fine and was the only part I could really eat. We'll obviously be back since this is one of our favorite places, but the service and food were less than stellar, and we were pretty disappointed. This review is written with mixed feelings. Many of my neighbors have gone to Brooklyn V's over the past two years and love it. I finally tried it and ordered enough for the family. We had garlic knots, an 18" three-meat pizza, a 14" chicken bacon ranch pizza, and the penne with broccoli, chicken, and black olives sauted in garlic and oil. I, personally, was not crazy about the pizza. My son-in-law agreed and thought the outside crust was somewhat tough on the 3-meat pizza. I was surprised at the amount of meat because I thought there would be more. My adult son and daughter loved the chicken bacon ranch pizza. My grandkids weren't impressed with either pizza. The garlic knots were okay. I really appreciated that I could find something on the menu for my grandson who is highly allergic to dairy products, except for (and I don't know why) fresh parmesan cheese. So I got him the penne dish, which was very good. Brooklyn V's menu is pretty extensive, so we'll go back to try something else, such as the strombolis or some of the many pasta dishes. read more

This place surprised me. I am happy to say that it was a good surprise. I have hear and read reviews on yelp about this pizza joint and they were very discouraging. But I like pizza and I wanted to try it for my self and we said the hell with other reviews. The pizza is very good. It is a little bit sweet, i like that, then the cheese is on point with the edges all matching. Not like Pizza Hut or some of the New York style places where you have no crust, they had crust and it was good, crispy and flavorful. The pepperoni was not to spicy but it has that excellent pepperoni flavor. Now, the big test for me is how does it hold up the next day or the next 2 days as left overs. And in the microwave. No change. The crust gets a little tough but a cup of water in there while it is spinning will change that. Not to greasy but still has the taste of when you get it fresh. So thumbs up in my book. We also get the garlic knots. Now you say, how can you screw up garlic knots. Trust me you can. These were cooked with a crisp bottom and then lite and fluffy and full of that garlicky buttery goodness that they are supposed to have. We get a dozen of them and they always go quickly. Additionally to that, we have ordered lunch from them a couple times. The Chicken Parm sandwich is good. The sauce makes it flavorful and then i get the Stromboli, with pepperoni, sausage and cheese, not with ricotta cheese. And it is good. I am originally from the east and we have pepperoni rolls there and I can not find them out west to save me, but these come close to it so I can not complain about that. All-in-all, try this place it is good and worth the money. They have a large variety of food and it is worth looking at. read more
