For over $50, this was one of the most disappointing food orders I've had in a long time. I paid an upcharge for brisket and didn't even receive it. I ordered the 2 Meat Special and specifically requested the meat be charred, but that request was completely ignored. The mac and cheese was bland, the beans tasted overwhelmingly like mustard and ketchup, and the overall quality was nowhere near what I'd expect from a BBQ restaurant charging these prices. DoorDash issued a partial refund, but that doesn't change the fact that most of the meal wasn't worth eating. Even the canned soda was flat. When you're spending $50+ for BBQ, you expect decent food and accurate service. This place delivered neither. Between the missing brisket, ignored instructions, and poor food quality, this was a complete waste of money. My spouse and I ate here over the weekend for our Valentine's date. We picked Brothers because my spouse has had their food before (other locations without me) and said they're really good, plus they have options that aren't automatically spicy. We're familiar with the building Brothers is in and really appreciated that they seem to be trying to honor the history of it being a gas station. Service was friendly and VERY fast! We were the only ones dining in but several people came in for pickup orders but our food came out within minutes of us finding a seat. I got the 1/2 pound of chicken, mac and cheese, and potato salad meal that comes with a roll. My spouse got the ribs and meat (he picked pulled pork), mashed potatoes, and cornbread meal that comes with a roll. I sampled everything and it all was so good! The cornbread really impressed me because it wasn't too dry and didn't leave a weird mouthfeel. The chicken wasn't dry and had a lot of flavor. The pulled pork and ribs were both very tender and smoky. We're hoping to go back again soon. When we do, I think I'll try the BBQ tofu because smoked tofu sounds amazing to me. It's my day off, so i thought getting lunch and hanging out with the wife would be cool. My original thought was Panda Express. I should have gone there. I ordered the wife a brother. Her usual. It was as good as usual. I ordered the brisket nachos. I won't ever order them again. Not a problem as brothers has lost me as a customer. The chips were stale. Like "dense little scraps of styrofoam" stale. I know that chips soak up the juices and get limp. But not all of them. So, I ended up just eating the brisket and throwing everything else out. So, I'm looking for more lunch. I normally would just right it off if the staff made it right. I'm not looking for free food or free lunch. But when I was hit with "thanks for your opinion" and then they hung up when I called? That put me off. Customer service is monumentally important. Except at brothers. Absolutely incredible service and the barbecue is very tasty. The combination of sauces for able to add an incredible variety. If it's your first time, definitely go with the brother burger. Was super excited to see a vegan option. We ordered two vegan tofu sandwiches and sides. The tofu was advertised as flavorful and cooked in sauce. What we got was several chucks of flavorless just fried tofu. We did get the bbq sauce on the side but it just doesn't add the flavor like cooking it with it. We didn't even finish it due to just not being good at all unfortunately . Not sure if ours was done wrong tried to reach out with no response. Overall I was underwhelmed by what I sampled ... I wanted to love this place simply because of its stylish building (a converted former filling station and garage) and location. Plenty of parking and indoor / outdoor seating- great service, A/C - but the food ... simply meh. I am upping one star because the smoked sausage is delish and grill finished which I really liked it- good sausage grind and taste (a few of the pieces I got were too charred ie. Burnt but the sausage was the best thing I tried. I also had brisket (no choice of marbled or lean) it's just offered chopped- which make me think either they don't care what their clients are looking for in BBQ or they are another chain bbq place that puts the craft of bbq below production and making food last longer. IMO chopped brisket is served when your sliced product isn't moist enough and you don't strive for smoke penetration or bark. I found it soft and having no mouth feel. The pulled pork, similarly I assume, was scooped out of a warming tray- where taste and smoke were good, but it was lacking any differing texture. I did appreciate the variety of sauces available- original & sweet (Texas based) - vinegar and mustard (Carolina based) were my favs - hot has great spice. I ordered samples of 1/4 meats - and potato salad - which was also pretty basic and I am assuming pre-made bulk. Food comes out hot and again basic - on wax paper on a tray. No sliced bread offered / no pickles or onions... bummer. It was a Tuesday and perhaps I was at the end of the food cycle from the weekend but I can't in good faith recommend. For $18 I got the plate that has 2 meats, 2 sides, and a hamburger bun wrapped in tinfoil. Meats: Pulled Pork and 3 pork Ribs. The pulled pork is smoked-ish. No rub that can be detected. Served cold. Absolutely needed the BBQ sauce to add flavor. The ribs have a great smoke flavor, but again, no rub. So, just plain smoked meat. At least they were warm. Sides: Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and Mac&Cheese. The Mac, very creamy but absolutely zero flavor. Needed to add a fair amount of salt and pepper. Mash and Gravy, let's just say that I've had better in a school cafeteria. Bland and the gravy is dffn from a jar or can. So, overall, I'll never go back and waste my money on mediocre food. So glad to see Brother's here in Fort Collins! Built in converted gas station; they do a tasteful nod with their decor. This location only carries pork ribs (thanks Covid for all the supply chain issues ) but it forced me to try them. Just as flavorful and well made as their beef ribs I dream of from their Greenwood Village area spot close to my office. If you're low carb or keto just get them without sauce. I have driven by this place since it opened and have been curious as I like good BBQ. So I stopped in this evening prepared to take it home as I mistakenly thought this was strictly catering and take out. I was wrong about that as they do have a dining area. I surveyed their menu and decided on the rib and one meat plate. Lou greeted me when I came in and patiently took my order after which he informed to sit wherever I wanted and my food would be brought out. I got 3 big meaty bones that did not have too much fat, and the beef brisket with their signature BBQ beans and cole slaw. Now this place is a bit different from your more commonly found BBQ places. The meat has what appears to a rather black peppery rub applied in an appropriate amount. The smoke flavor is hearty, but not so strong as to be over-powering. Another plus is they don't use too much salt. The ribs were practically fall-off-the-bone, melt in your mouth tender and the brisket was essentially devoid of fat that accompanies that cut of meat - they trimmed it away before they coarsely chopped it - NICE! The beans were flavored a lot like Ranch Style beans if you are familiar with those, but with a defined and delightful kick and slightly peppery flavor. There were shreds of meat in the sauce on the beans giving that wonderful BBQ smoke flavor. The cole slaw, while described as a home recipe that is creamy was wonderful, was appropriately dressed without being sopping wet with the creamy dressing and cut coarse enough that you needed to chew it. The flavor of that was awesome! My plate came complete with a tasty freshly baked sandwich bun on which I placed trimming from one of my three pork ribs (just the right amount of meat for a sandwich) and added their purple top BBQ sauce which has a deep brown color, I suppose from molasses. That sauce was thick and tasty with a smoke flavor without being too sweet. They offer four different BBQ sauces on the table from a rather spicy and thin one to three different thicker formulations, one of which has a pronounced herbal flavor. Lou also checked on my a few minutes after my meal was brought out and asked it all tasted okay. I assured him it was great. This establishment is in a location that previously was and automobile service station and the have decorated it in that theme. This is a small chain with several locations in Denver and one in DIA. The BBQ flavors are an individual take on BBQ sampled across the country by the O-Sullivan brothers who are the founders. If you want a delicious and more healthy approach to BBQ that is a bit different from the "regular" you should give this place a try - I don't think you will be disappointed in the least! read more

Tried it for the first time and it's very basic. Clean building and great service. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and without plenty of sauce it is quite bland with no rub. With sauce it's pretty decent. But not worth it for $13 for a sandwich only. I'll go elsewhere in the future. read more

Excellent food - best BBQ in town. The renovated building is really nice and easy to access - just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown. Our only negative comment is the lack of attention on sustainability - to go packaging is not recyclable, everything in plastic. "Burnt Ends" is a menu item. What you get is a slimy scoop of square-cut, blubbery chunks of discarded pork-fat with little bits of meat attached (very little). Disgusting. . . . Burnt Ends?! Lol, none of it was even close to burnt, and they were def not "ends". So gross. And WAAAAY overpriced!! Seriosuly, crazy expensive for "meh" food, and ridiculously bad "burnt ends". This place told me all their meats were 100% smoked, and that couldn't be farther from the truth. Everything was grey or brown, no smoke ring on any of the meats.
