    Finger lickin good.

Absolutely incredible service and the barbecue is very tasty. The combination of sauces for able to add an incredible variety. If it's your first time, definitely go with the brother burger. Everything on the menu looks pretty awesome. The brothers offered samples for our first time, and we tried the brisket. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. Also, found out they have a golfers discount. Head there after playing nine at city park. Great business. Had me lickin the plate.

Mac & Cheese. Mashed Potato's and Gravy. Pork ribs. Pulled pork.

For $18 I got the plate that has 2 meats, 2 sides, and a hamburger bun wrapped in tinfoil. Meats: Pulled Pork and 3 pork Ribs. The pulled pork is smoked-ish. No rub that can be detected. Served cold. Absolutely needed the BBQ sauce to add flavor. The ribs have a great smoke flavor, but again, no rub. So, just plain smoked meat. At least they were warm. Sides: Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and Mac&Cheese. The Mac, very creamy but absolutely zero flavor. Needed to add a fair amount of salt and pepper. Mash and Gravy, let's just say that I've had better in a school cafeteria. Bland and the gravy is dffn from a jar or can. So, overall, I'll never go back and waste my money on mediocre food. You can go to Costco and get better flavored food.

Located in Fort Collins near city park and mulberry. A great little bbq spot. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it's awesome. Definitely I'll be making some more trips here to eat.

We needed food and we needed a lot of it, so we headed to our favorite barbecue joint in town. Everyone at the counter was masked and gloved up, which is always a good start! I ordered the three meat platter with smoked chicken wings, brisket and pulled pork, selecting potato salad and baked beans as the sides. After a short wait, the huge tray was set down in front of us and we dug in. The smoked wings are some of the best wings I've had in Fort Collins! Tender, crispy and piping hot! The brisket was a little tougher than I had hoped, but still full of flavor. The pulled pork stole the show, however - juicy and falling apart on the plate with just the right amount of sizzling fat, drizzled with a sweet and slightly tangy barbecue sauce. Originally we had thought that we'd have leftovers to reheat at home but, as you can see, that didn't happen. We demolished the plates and ripped through the perfectly prepared potato salad and maple-sweet baked beans, then debated getting dessert. The debate was short and we rounded out the meal with a container of banana pudding that had notes of cinnamon and vanilla, topped traditionally with a Nilla wafer. Once the meat sweats stop (SO. MUCH. MEAT), we'll be heading back for another mountainous platter!

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

The food was amazing I had the Prime Rib and loaded baked potato, my family ordered four appetizers they chose shrimp, oysters and chicken wings we wanted the 3 rolls but we were told we could only order 2 because they were sold out. We had no issues with food every item ordered was amazingly delicious. Compliments to the cooks! The service provided was not as impressive, I had asked for sweetener for our tea twice, he acknowledged and said he would bring it to our table but it never came. I had to ask the individual who brought out our appetizers thankfully he brought it as soon as he left the table. It took a while for our server to ask if we needed any drink refills. Lastly, since I sat at the edge of the table of the corner booth, I felt my personal space was invaded each time he brought out or food. He could have asked me to stand up or move for a little bit (which I wouldn't have mind), with this request he would avoided stepping on my foot, bumping me with his elbow and not reaching over me. Not sure if our server was in the best mood but when we were leaving he knocked over my tea spilling some on me and the take out container. Leaving me disappointed because my husband and I drove 672 miles. Even my children stated usually there is impeccable service.

The service was friendly and efficient -- no complaints at all about the staff. They were polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food just didn't measure up. The brisket sandwich was honestly horrible. The meat didn't resemble sliced brisket at all -- it was more like ground-up meat mixed with fat. It lacked texture, structure, and that classic smoked brisket quality you expect from a place calling itself "Serious" Texas BBQ. The potato salad was bland and forgettable, with very little flavor. If you're looking for good barbecue in Fort Collins or Northern Colorado, I'd recommend choosing somewhere else. This location is nowhere near as good as the Durango stores.

I'll start by saying that I really enjoyed the sauce. We got a 32 oz bottle of Mild and Medium, and both are delicious. Atmosphere was lively, and though we ordered take out, they were absolutely on top of the busy on-goings while we waited. That said, when we got home I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. The wings were crispy, so they were cooked well. And as discussed, the flavor of the sauce was good. But the actual wings themselves were so small. This is unfortunately the exact reason we've stopped visiting another wing place. Great sauce, but the value due to the literal size of the wing is poor, at best. The restaurant business is a tight balancing act, but when you sacrifice quality to inflate margins it shows.

On the first trip I discovered Choice City Butcher and the best damn hamburgers I have ever had, anywhere, bar none. I returned for a burger pilgrimage at least once on every trip since. The vibe was casual (order at the counter/bar) and the beer selection was outstanding. This last year I went back for my yearly trip and was excited to introduce one of my colleagues to this place. As soon as I walked in, it all seemed different. The beer taps were gone, a waiter (!!) greeted us and seated us in a foofy feeling booth. I inquired about the changes and found that the ownership had changed recently. The menu was much more upscale feeling (though prices were relatively reasonable) and lacked the signature burgers I was looking forward to. Our order started with the brussels sprouts appetizer. Solid app. Very tasty and nicely roasted with a yummy aioli. My old fashioned was fine, but nothing special (I make a better one at home with $20 bottle bourbon). My main was their Horsetooth Burger (Chili Relleno burger) which was pretty disappointing. The patty itself looked and felt like it was frozen, not hand formed like the old ones. The Poblano was nearly tasteless and way too big for the bun. Overall the burger was very average and not very flavorful. In the long run, I was pretty disappointed in the food. Service, was great. Very attentive and friendly. Despite that, this will probably be my last visit to Choice City. I will mourn the loss of those amazing burgers for the rest of my life...
