This kbbq is not AYCE, it's a la carte. Came here with a group of 11 so we made a rsvp. We ordered 2 large beef platter, 2 kimchi pancake, 2 spicy chicken bulgogi, and spicy cold noodles. It was plenty of food. The spicy cold noodles were really nice for a hot day. There was plenty of side dishes. Cucumbers were my favorite. For dipping sauce you only get sesame oil and salt. Highly recommended. I know a lot about food but almost nothing about Korean food but I know that I like it! My friend and came to Brother's and we were well impressed. The fried chicken was PERFECT! Juicy and slightly spicy; it didn't need anything. There were glass noodles with beef and peppers. I could eat these noodles every day! Came here with some friends for a pre Halloween night out. First-time and I am very impressed. Bandhan was great with some that you don't normally get at other places. It is on the more expensive side, but for the quality of meat you're getting, def worth it every once in a while. We got the galbitang, M beef combo platter, and pork jowl. They also give you so many banchan options -- the best ones are the kimchi, fish cake, japchae, & cucumbers. The galbitang this time was alright, could've used a little more salt and some of the radish pieces were tough (kind of like it was old). The beef was so good -- the brisket was a little tough but every other piece was very tender. My favorite was the skirt steak, it's so soft & melt-in-your-mouth. The pork jowl was incredible -- super fatty and tender and goes perfect with sesame oil+salt & grilled kimchi. For 3 people, this was more than enough food; we even had some leftovers. Came here for dinner on a Friday. It was pretty empty when I went. If you want the kbbq experience but think most kbbq places are too noisy, loud, or greasy/ grimy. Come here, the space was very clean and pleasant. They have lots of raw meat options to grill, they also have cooked meats, rice, stew, soup, appetizers, etc. We got the Medium pork combination, short ribs, and japchae. The sides are complimentary. I ordered the short rib lunch combo with the tofu soup and my friend ordered bulgogi. The short ribs were tender and not overly fatty and full of flavor, the soup was delicious and had a good spice as I told them I didnt have a spice preference so they gave me the regular spice. Pretty solid meal overall. Great banchan, all very fresh. The standout dish was the vegetable tofu soup, which was so incredibly flavorful and delicious. I could eat that every single day. I got the beef and vegetable bibimbap and while it was good for the most part and definitely a lot of food, there was a strong oceanic flavor that kept coming through that I was really not enjoying. I'm not sure what it could've been given that no seafood was described as being in the dish, but it's possible it may have been coming from seaweed that was just especially strong in flavor. Whatever it was, it negatively impacted that dish and I didn't enjoy it as much as I would've liked. Service was pretty slow here and we were ignored for the majority of our meal. Our waitress was very nice though, when she was around, but we were just seated in a way back corner by a hallway and never checked on after we got our food. The japchae was one of the banchan and it was so good; I'd like to come back here again to try the KBBQ and some other dishes (and to get more of that soup), and I'd definitely like to order the japchae. read more

This location is a regular for me and my girlfriend to get our Korean bbq fix. The quality of the meats is always good since it's not all you can eat and the portion size is as described. We usually get the beef combination medium (for 2 people) and finish the plates and our bonchon feeling full as we leave. As always, the service here is great. The staff is always super nice and extremely attentive. We showed up on a random Tuesday night and they were pretty packed. There was kpop songs in the background on tv. I've come a few times and it never disappoints. One of my favorite kbbq spots and jts close to home. Parking lot makes it convenient. This isn't AYCE so it feels like i AM eating my worth bc i don't have to force myself. I can pack my leftovers lol. It's never really too busy whenever i go, but it's a good crowd. I was greeted very friendly by what may have been one of the owners. It was approx 3:30 pm so I decided to have a early dinner while I waited for a client to fly into Oakland airport. The server sat me and handed me a wonderful menu with great pictures so that i knew what I was ordering. She brought me a glass of water and some wonderful tea that tasted of roasted grains. I ordered the beef, rice and vegetables with a fried egg on top. She also brought out a great selection of banchan which I was really looking forward to. The dish was perfectly cooked and came out steaming hot ( take a look at my video and you can hear how hot it was). The server checked on me twice, which I really appreciated. We live a block away from this restaurant. We've come here before and have also ordered food for takeout. My husband recently came to buy an order of rice and kimchi to go, as we ran out of rice at home, but the manager said (speaking in Korean) that they can't sell rice and kimchi because he wasn't ordering enough food. My husband has purchased rice and kimchi many times before (with no issue) when we've run out and needed a quick grab, so I don't understand why they can't sell it now. The food is good, but they increased the prices by a lot! If I remember correctly, the grilled short ribs was $36 maybe two months ago, and now it is $44! The banchan was always full at our table despite us all being very eager in how much we were eating. It wasn't super busy on the day we went despite it being a weekend. We were ready to wait a while because we didn't have a reservation but got sat rather quickly after arriving. We ordered the large beef combination plate, cold buckwheat noodles, military casserole, and seafood pancake. Our party typically gets lettuce, garlic and lots of extra kimchi as well. My wife and I have patronized Brothers BBQ on a regular basis. We ate at the restaurant on Sat-4/19. We discovered the restaurant raised their prices by 20%-25%. Outrageous. Example: a dinner combination of teriyaki chicken and tofu soup was $40. The price of this same meal two weeks ago was $33. That is a $7 increase or 21%. Stupid. The portions did not change. In my opinion, the increase in food price is not justifiable. My wife and I will no longer patronize this restaurant. read more
