I don't order Chinese takeout often but wanted to give this place a try - it did not disappoint! I ordered over the phone around 5:30pm on Friday and got: -Mongolian beef chow fun -Sweet & sour chicken -fried honey chicken wing -house fried rice -Won ton soup They told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait, which was surprising to me, because based on reviews, it seemed like it would be a long wait. I got there 20 minutes afterwards and needed to wait another few minutes, which wasn't bad at all! At the time I went, there was already 3 people waiting for their food. So I can imagine how busy it can get later on into the evening. There's only street parking. It's a very small spot, with only 5 chairs (if you wanted to sit and wait), or you can stand outside. You pay and they give you a buzzer (if your food is not ready by the time you get there. Also, if you order on the spot, they'll give you a buzzer). Once your food is ready, they'll buzz you and you're good to go! I really liked the Mongolian beef chow fun & the sweet & sour chicken! The fried rice was average and the honey chicken swings was good, but I think there was too much honey (which might not be bad for some people, cause some people wants flavor). The won ton soup was average too with cucumbers, carrots & wonton. The soup was a nice break between the oily-ness in the food. I would come back here again and try other foods!

Visited family and was craving Chinese food. Tried little Namking and it was delicious. Good customer service and pretty big portions so you are able to share with many. Very small inside so this isn't a place where you are able to eat inside, pick up only. I love how they give you a restaurant beeper/pager so that you are aware when your order is ready. I recommend calling ahead to place your order so that you don't have to wait too long. My only complaint is that they don't give very much sauce ( soy sauce, sweet & sour) etc. the portions are big and having only a couple is not enough whatsoever. If I'm in town I would come back and try it again.

Service Great! Location Great! Found out there's parking in the back. Food smelled great soon as I got my bag. Food looks awesome. I Won't get the wings again they didn't taste like much. The Salt & Pepper Prawns were GOOD!! Those will definitely get ordered again!!

The apperance, texture and taste was off, almost puffy instead of the normal flat wings I'm used getting from them.

I've been ordering from Little Nam King for years. I usually order three or four times a month, and different members of my family do the same. We've always ordered the same dishes because we liked the quality and consistency. Today Monday, 12/1/2025, I ordered my usual: salt and pepper chicken wings and dry-fried honey chicken wings, a little over $26 plus a tip. When I got home, I immediately noticed something was off. The chicken looked completely different from what I've received in the past. Every piece looked unusually uniform, almost like something made for a display. The coating was puffed up instead of the usual flat, crisp fry. Even the flats were thick and puffy. After trying a few pieces, the flavor was wrong too. Neither order tasted like salt and pepper or honey. Both dishes looked the same, and neither tasted like what I've been getting for years. I decided to call the restaurant, not to ask for a refund, but to let them know something had changed and to understand if this was intentional or a one-time issue. Instead, I was told that nothing was different and that what I received today is exactly what I've always gotten. That was simply not true, and I found the response dismissive and unprofessional. The lady who normally takes the phone order and works the register eventually hung up on me. ADVISE: Listen to the community, the very ones that are supporting your business. The food ended up in the trash, and I'm out $30. More importantly, they've lost a long-time customer.

Fly at the bottom of the container.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We found a dead fly on the bottom of the container of chow mien! We didn't see it until we were done with the food! This is disgusting and the staff is nasty and unsanitary. This better not get me sick or I will be suing! Hopefully the Department of Heath sees this and shut this restaurant down!

We had to try this place. We've seen the lines, we've seen the reviews. Stopped in. Plenty of street parking and there was no line on a Thursday afternoon. Ordered S&P prawns over rice and green beans over rice. It was really good and I had to wait about 10 minutes while it was made. It was really hot food and the shrimp was crispy the whole time I ate my food. Only thing I could say for someone that is picky is that there was a lot of onion. It want enough to deter me and I did eat it all! So good, will be back to try other foods.

I've been meaning to try this place for so long! The phone lines are always so busy, streets are always full with people waiting in their car for their orders to be ready. It's a to go place only. There are a few seats it sit to wait for your food. Otherwise you just order at the table and wait about 20-25min for your food. Salt & pepper spare ribs 10/10 Walnut prawns 100/10 it's soooo crispy/ love the batter Sautéed green beans 9/10 Expect a wait during lunchtime. They close to an hour during the day between 3-4pm. Friendly staff!

I heard the hype about Little Namking's fried chicken so of courseeee I had to check it out! LOCATION: Located on E. 14th so you can't miss it if you keep going down that main street. It is a small shop and there's street parking in front and around the block. They also have a small parking lot behind it. AMBIANCE: Like I said, small shop - it's take out only. They've got a menu outside posted on their window and more menus inside. You'll place your order once inside and then they give you a buzzer that will let you know when your order is ready. They have a few chairs inside if you want to wait there, but you can also wait just outside. I believe you can also call ahead to place an order for pick up. Now, let's get to the FOOD: we ordered their signature salt and pepper chicken wings and salt and pepper prawns. oooh that is salty and peppery goodness. For the salt and pepper chicken wings, they're pretty decent in size and they're crispy without being too *crunchy*. The seasoning is pretty good - I think I was getting some white pepper in there which was good. Is it the best salt and pepper chicken wings I've had? Maybe not, but it's pretty up there! The shrimp was very similar. Decent portions and perfectly fried. Honestly, I will probably be back here again. If I lived more in this area, it would prob be my regular chinese takeout spot!

It was past the lunch rush hour so we were seated quickly although it was a little confusing if I HAVE to download the app, go up to order at the counter or try to hail down one of the staff. My dad got the sizzling beef which came with an ice tea and I got the Hainan chicken plate which came out super fast. The food was decent but the service was awful. Because we don't speak Cantonese and speak Mandarin instead? And I don't mean efficient, no nonsense service, I mean downright rude. I asked for to go boxes and she literally came over and I had to get out of my bench seat in order to reach the boxes and bag .... she couldn't be bothered to actually hand them to me. When my dad asked for some refill on his ice tea, she literally yelled at him and said 'YOU GOT THIS FOR FREE." We ordered a Hainan full chicken to go and I waited 20 minutes before going to the counter to ask for my chicken. There's usually a pretty good line right by the register, so this place is pretty well known by the Asian locals. Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup ($16/2*) First outing here I sat for lunch and tried this. Surprisingly disappointing seeing how busy and popular this place is. The wontons were okay, decent flavor with a strong sesame oil presence. But they weren't that plump and luxurious, just seemed like homemade/amateur versions. Which is fine, except given the nicer restaurant feel, I just expected something more elevated. The noodles were fine, super thin egg noodles that had a nice QQ. BUT their broth was so bland and unremarkable that it kinda ruined the whole experience. I couldn't even taste/detect the protein that made up the stock, just tasted like murky liquid to me. And zero condiments on the table, so I just ate the wontons and the plain tasting noodles cuz the broth couldn't offer anything to the noodles. Womp womp. And their bowl of choice is very weird to eat from. Super tall bowl that if you leave a spoon in there it will sink and be submerged for you to fish out...in piping hot liquid. If I would have reviewed this place just on this one visit, then it surely would have been a sub 3* rating. But I knew I couldn't leave my impression with that one lone visit. Roast Duck - Half ($20/4*) Came back for some take-out deli items and I was handsomely rewarded. Total 180 experience from the soup outing. Their ducks here are slightly more expensive than most others for the area. But it is still worth it imo. They cut it with good skill and even for a take-out box they present it nicely, with the shape of duck still somewhat intact. The skin is not crisp at all but it is very well rendered. Some pieces were not that salty at all but some other pieces are well seasoned, which I thought was strange. But overall a very solid roast duck is to be found here. There's also a big scoop of these tiny beans that are slightly sweet almost like baked beans just not as gloopy. But the bean texture is very al dente, almost crunchy, which I found very strange. Macao Roast Pork w/ Rice ($19/4.5*) This is crazy good...I'll even say special. Super seasoned pork belly is roasted til the skin gets crisp...like chicharon status, except it is just a very thin layer of crispness. So the balance between the sturdy crunch and juicy flavorful meat was practically perfect. It is definitely on the salty side, almost the same intenseness as eating Spam with white rice, but white rice offsets those salty components beautifully. And they garnish this massive plate with perfectly blanched gai lan (Chinese Broccoli) and some other pickled greens that add a nice sweet and tangy component. So between the decadent pork, white rice and diverse greens offerings just made this a complete one stop shop that could make a regular out of me. There's also a Share Tea next door so I've got a harmonious tandem going on here. Lucky Ducky Me yassss!

They don't treat in-house customers as a priority. I'll go back to this place whenever I have a chance. Order ahead if you're in a rush--this is not a fast place. But you can always count on their quality.

Eventually, a waitress approached our table and informed us that the table we were seated at was reserved and that we would need to move back to the table near the entrance. We explained that the area by the door was cold and windy and asked whether another table might be available. We were told, in what felt like a cold and unfriendly manner, that all of the other tables had been reserved. At that point, our group decided to leave, as it seemed there was no suitable seating available. This information would have been helpful to know before we were seated. As we were leaving, the waitress reached out and grabbed my daughter's arm to tell her that another table could be arranged. By then, most of our party had already exited the restaurant. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed due to the lack of communication, hospitality, and overall customer service.

Most of the party arrived before us so we were able to easily find our table. We were set next to the fish take, by the kitchen. It was a good arrangement. We had 2 tables with identical entrees. We ordered: Green Beans, Salt and pepper chicken wings, shrimp fried rice (Everyone's least favorite dish), Chow Fun, duck, and probably some other dishes. The green beans were the best dish. The chicken wings were good, but not as flavorful as people hoped, they probably won't be ordered again. The fired rice was a big disappointed, it had shrimp in it, but it lacked flavor. The baked pork buns are good - slightly different in that there's no glaze on them but the outside was crispy and the inside tender and the filling was tasty - they are why I'm giving 2 stars. The honey walnut prawns were inedible - the sauce was hard lumpy globs sitting randomly on top of fried shrimps, truly disgusting. The scallion pancakes were not crispy or flaky - Trader Joe's are better. The tofu rolls were cold on one side, like refrigerator cold, while the other side was lukewarm. The jellyfish salad had no flavor whatsoever, just the very slightest hint of sesame. No salt, nothing. The seaweed salad was decent. The deep fried mochi puffs with meat filling were bad. The outer shell was too thick so the inside was uncooked and doughy. Inedible. And, the cold chicken feet were so tough they were in edible. I didn't know you could make chicken feet like that, so tough. Again not really any flavor, they were just tossed with a little bit of chili sauce and hardly any of that. And no vinegar chili sauce for dipping. I would not recommend.
