Food is a solid 4 stars but owner and his service makes this a bona fide 5-star enterprise. I had the privilege of growing up in NJ/NY as a child and joke that I have marinara running in my veins. This place is a genuine throwback in everything you want in a locally-owned Italian restaurant. Their pizza and calamari are out of this world. Also ordered their chicken parm empanada and lasagna. However, the empanada came out cold and lasagna was mistaken for linguini. However, the owner personally apologized and remedied both situations without question right away. On our way out he handed me a $10 gift card for our troubles. Not all restaurant owners do this. This is why people on Yelp love and rave about Rosario and Danny - they are owners who truly understand that patrons are why they do what they do. It's not always about the food (which they do well) but about their service, name, reputation, and their customers. Even if I never received the gift card, I would have come back. Let me tell you man, I was having one of the shittiest days of my life and this place made it all better in a blink of a second. I got out of work late and passed by literally 5 minutes to closing and I asked the gentleman if it was okay for me to get something. He showed me what was available and I ordered. Came here on the way home from a long day of working and wedding planning and I'm not exaggerating this might have been the best pizza slices I've had. Perfect plain slice super crispy and the right amount of sauce and cheese. The buffalo slice was PHENOMENAL and they even gave me a side of blue cheese! It's a very good slice at an above average price. The location is definitely tucked away deep in Saddle Brook. So deep in fact, that you'll probably need to use gps if you aren't familiar with the area. Definitely a good locals spot, but nearly every town in Bergen County has a pizzeria similar in quality. My family was hungry last night and it was a bit late. So because of places closing early due to Covid it was hard to find a good place that was open. It was a little before 9pm. I tried my usual places but they were either closed or closing. So I went onto yelp to see if I could find a place with a good rating and still open for delivery. This one popped up so I gave it a try. The person answering the phone was really nice and polite. The delivery came really fast. I ordered a Brooklyn pizza. It was OUTRAGEOUS!!!! The sauce was so good. The crust was so good. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! This will now be my go to place for pizza. I will also try other dishes on the menu. Thank you so much for such a great find. We are originally from the North East, now living in Florida. We couldn't wait to have some pizza during our time here. After carefully reviewing Yelp, we decided to try Brother's Pizza. We ordered the gold standard, a large cheese pie. It became evident that this is more of a take out place then an eat in place when our pizza was put on a tray holder entirely blocking an aisle rather then a table top tray holder. People were reaching over our pie to greet each other. Not very sanitary. The good point. The pizza crust was thin and crisp. The pizza was served bubbling hot. However, the sauce was not very flavorful. I needed to add oregano, garlic and a couple of red pepper flakes. Service was nonexistent. Overall, not a very good experience. Went to my friends house in saddle brook last night for a little catching up and we decided to order food. After going thru numerous menus of Chinese takeout, the diner and then we found brothers pizza. After looking over the menu my boyfriend and I decided to order the mac and cheese bites, tortellini with alfredo sauce, and chicken franchise. The mac and cheese bites were mac and cheese coated in breadcrumbs and fried (I think they may have been frozen but who cares they were really tasty), the tortellini was cheese filled and the alfredo sauce was delicious and rich with flavor. The chicken franchise is like any other italian place but the sauce is what made it! Each of the entrees were served with a choice of soup or salad I chose the salad and it was delicious! There is so many good things i can say about this business. First of all, the pizza and food are so delicious. The pizza has so many varieties and all of them are out of this world. The owner, is so accommodating and personable. If you ever need pizza or food for any event, he is the one to talk to and work with.
