No tables are open at this location, and the restaurant doesn't appear to be cleaned regularly. Back wall is stained and dirty and restaurant area isn't kept up (I guess since they don't let customers sit down). Food is hit or miss as they are regularly out of bagels. This location has been inconsistent for too long a time. We don't frequent this location very often, but it seems that there is something wrong each and every time we order from the Blue Ash location. Here's a few examples: they are consistently out of items such as poppyseed bagels or iced tea, they used a whole wheat everything bagel when I ordered a plain everything bagel. Yesterday, I ordered a sandwich with a poppyseed bagel and they were out (again) so I ordered the sandwich with a plain everything bagel. My wife ordered a sandwich with an everything bagel. Comparing my everything bagel to hers, I saw that mine had about 50% less toppings. I just don't see any improvement in this location. In fact, their quality and service is going in the other direction. Management needs to step in and make some drastic improvements and changes.v read more

Waited another 5 min, given a bagel - which wasn't the right bagel, after I said it wasn't the right bagel twice when she assured me it's my bagel - finally came over snatched it out of my hand and said ooops you were given someone else's order yours in right here. I stopped in to claim a reward from the app. I had never been to this location before and almost missed it. It is fairly small and tucked into a strip mall. At the time of my visit, the dinning room was closed. I was instantly greeted and promptly waited upon by the friendly staff. I went to Bruegger's for the first time today and I will not be returning. The staff was extremely rude, not a single smile came out of one of the 3 workers. They refused to communicate with you and made me feel as if I was a nuisance to them. They were hollering out food orders and just throwing bags wherever on the counter. My sandwich was thrown in the bottom of the bag not in a wrapper. The coffee has no syrup and sweetenter as I ordered. Very unfriendly staff. read more

I've been picking up lunch here recently, and the bagels and service are always good. It's such a difficult time in the restaurant/food industry, and the people here are always cheery and efficient!! I love their rosemary olive oil, blueberry, and whole wheat bagels. They're happy to slice them for you. That way I can freeze them and have them ready to pop in the toaster. My go to bagel is the egg and cheese on a whole wheat. It has just the right amount of each. I get one egg, but you can opt to add an extra egg. The bagel has just the right amount of chewiness! Yum! Bagels are as you would expect from a Bruegger's. However, multiple times I have shown up 15-20 minutes after their scheduled time to be open in the morning and the doors are still locked and the lights are off while you can see people working at the oven. So don't expect to be able to stop in on your way to work if that time is at the beginning of business hours. read more

I absolutely love Bruegger's bagels but this location is a terrible representation of Bruegger's. Their bagels are always soggy like actually wet! So gross!!! I took home some of their soggy bagels and within an hour they had fallen and were caved in due to being so wet. I threw them away. The little guy with glasses that works there... I believe may be a manager or possibly the owner is constantly scratching.. like excessively digging at his arms while standing over the prep table facing customers. I seriously can't get the picture of him scratching his hairy little arms over the table that they make food on out of my head! I will never eat there again. There's just some things you should not do around food! He's also very grumpy and always has a unhappy expression on his face. It's unsettling! I have seriously never been thanked for tipping on takeout. But my main reason for the 1 star is the quality of their bagels. I now go to the Miami Ave location in Madeira. They're bagels are perfect and they're always nice and friendly. It's not that much farther from my home. Let's face it their bagels are super expensive but I don't mind if they're good. I have never actually been to a Bruegger's before, though I've eaten their bagels at social functions many times in the past and have always preferred them over Panera. So today while making a UPS run on my lunch break, i decided to stop in at this location around the corner and pick up a bagel. I opted for the Apple Cinnamon bagel and asked for it slice and toasted. I watched the girl toast the bagel, but it didn't look very toasty to me. I should've asked her to toast it again, but I didn't. That's on me. After the bagel came out of the toaster, I requested the light, plain cream cheese. Unlike Panera, they spread the cream cheese on the bagel for you... and only on one side? Then she put the sliced bagel back together like a sandwich. Ugh. I get to the register to pay, with a $1.69 from the menu perfectly counted out, when my total comes to $3.52. I ask why and apparently the seasonal Apple Cinnamon Bagel is a "gourmet" bagel or something? I didn't notice anything about this on their menu or on the basket the bagels were in, but that doesn't mean there wasn't signage. Fine. I paid for my bagel and took it to go. As I'm driving back to work, I grabbed my bagel and took my first bite and almost had to spit it back out. It did NOT taste like I expected... and no wonder. When I was finally parked and able to inspect my bagel, I found that the cream cheese she had put on my bagel (which WAS the correct kind) was full of seeds leftover from someone else's Everything Bagel. So you know, it's all savory and onion-y on my Apple Cinnamon Bagel. Ugh. So I scraped off the seeds (and with it, half of the already sad amount of cream cheese I paid sixty freaking cents for) and went on with eating my bagel. Halfway through the bagel, I got another less-than-appetizing bite. What gives? Oh, the bagel isn't baked through. It's straight up dough. I'm sorry, but if you're gonna charge me nearly three bucks for "gourmet," could you at least make sure it's fully cooked? Oh, and don't charge me sixty cents for tainted cream cheese. On my recent trip to Bruggers I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and a pumpkin spice coffee. When I ordered the bagel, the worker was attentive to my needs and was working efficiently. I asked what cream cheese people typically get with an everything bagel because I wanted to try something new. He gave me a few options, which was helpful, but I ended up playing it safe by ordering plain cream cheese. I also love when my bagels are very toasted, so I asked if they would be able to do that for me, and they were more than willing to honor my request. As I was paying I ordered a pumpkin spice coffee, which I had gotten before and knew was good. I was happy with that purchase too - the coffee was flavorful and hot. I will be back to Bruggers when I want a good bagel! read more

I moved from Chicago less than a year ago. My work got Bruegger's Bagels delivered one day and I had the rosemary olive bagel. It had to be one of the best bagels ever! I have been raving about it ever since. However, I ordered through door dash. I got a breakfast egg bagel sandwich with an iced coffee. I am currently waiting for it to be delivered but I am not here to rate the food. Once I ordered, I called the store. not even a second after. I explained to a girl on the phone that the app wasn't allowing me to change it to rosemary bagel and asked if that would be fine to have that (only gave me an option of the plain.) Without skipping a beat, she claimed it was already all made. I pointed out i put it the order not even 30 seconds ago. She put me on hold and came back after a minute. She said door dash doesn't let us customize bagels. I proceeded to ask if there is anyway they would be able to just make it rosemary olive bagel. She said thats an up charge and not possible under any circumstance. I understand they are not affiliated with Door Dash, however, I made an effort to call in a simple request. The reason that drove me to write this is due to me checking the bagels and rosemary olive bagel is not an up charge on any of the other bagel items. I feel as if she didn't care to consider my feelings of a simple request. I have seen other reviews of the workers/service here and I think it's safe to say to befriend another location than this one. read more

Rudest treatment & worst service of any place in Blue Ash, ever--and I've lived nearby more than a decade. We arrived before 4:30 and sign says they close at 5:00. Everybody was cleaning up, although a woman behind the counter asked us what we wanted. I asked if they had decaf coffee and she replied no, they already dumped it. Seeing it was 30 minutes before closing, I asked if she could make some. Without even letting her answer, some bloke pushing a carpet sweeper in the corner shouted out "No!" Friendly service! I love the bagels and the wide variety of cream cheeses available. I love the everything bagel and the best part is there is seasoning on both sides of the bagels. Bagels are fresh as evidenced that you can watch the bagels being made behind a glass window. I've only had the bagels and cream cheese but their salads sound wonderful too! Dirty and chaotic is the best way to describe this Blue Ash store. Granted, we stopped there just as the lunch "rush" hour began, but the place was filthy. They had probably five people working behind the counter: one Assistant Manager at the cash register, who seemed to tacitly acknowledge the lunacy of his store; one "older young" person who was overseeing the three high school freshmen making sandwiches. The "older young" person did not inspire confidence in her charges, and she actually seemed to contribute to the chaos. Capers, yes, no, yes, no... Don't ask. Every table seemed to have crumbs, etc. on it. The floor was littered with garbage. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Sorry. I hate writing a bad review, but I would expect better from this place. The bagel I had was decent, but I felt a bit nervous eating in a place that seemed that filthy. What's not to love about Bruegger's? Their bagels are delicious, service is fast and friendly, and it's a great place to get a work lunch. I almost always get a breakfast sandwich no matter what time it is. This is probably one of the reasons I love it so much--breakfast all day! Might I recommend a bacon, egg, and cheddar on the rosemary olive oil bagel? Their soups and salads are kind of hit or miss but what's great is that when you order a salad, they don't just pull it out of a fridge. They actually make it up right in front of you. You can also ask for your bagel to be "skinny." They cut out the middle so it's thinner and less calories. I will say though, you're getting a bagel, just get it. If you don't want the calories, don't get the bagel. It's like a crime against the bagel gods. That shit wouldn't fly in New York. Just call me the bagel Nazi. Out of those 4 times they were out, 2 times we settled for something else, 2 times we walked out and went across the street to their competition. Much better than the other bagel place across the street. The cream cheese isn't whipped like the other place. I have noticed that the last few times I've visited the employees are brushing crumbs into food containers along the counter. I usually just get plain cream cheese on bagels but the cc container was also filled with bagel crumbs, seeds, onions, lettuce, etc. Yuck!! I also watched an employee fill up an already used container with new items. Yuck, change out the container before refilling it's contents. Food safety needs to be a priority not an afterthought. read more
