My family and I love Bruegger's! Their food is delicious and always tastes fresh. Every time we go, there's a line of people to the door so they must be doing something right! And even though they're typically busy, we never have to wait long to order and receive our food. My son's favorite is the Sriracha Honey Sunrise breakfast sandwich and my favorite is the Leonardo Da Veggie lunch sandwich (it's good any time of day- not just at lunch!). This morning kicked off with the best kind of suggestion--my wife rolled over and said, "Let's have a lazy morning and order some bagels from Bruegger's." Say less, I was already in. I went with the turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño bagel--something I hadn't had in years. That first bite brought the nostalgia rushing back. The bagel had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeños, and the eggs were fluffy and fresh like they were made to order. Bruegger's boils and bakes these fresh made bagels onsite, after saying that if I get what I want and they meet my expectations I'm not going to nic pick too many of the other details. The Product - "The Farmhouse" on a freshly baked plain bagel, the egg, bacon, ham and cheese pulled from a warming tray was okay but the bagel is the star of this breakfast sandwich. If you love great bagels I think your options are going to be somewhat limited in the area especially at 6:00 AM. This sandwich was a great choice but if it wasn't a meeting day in the office I think the "everything bagel" would of been the perfect platform. The store front is near the middle of a strip mall, a few tables out front and a parking lot big enough to host a carnival, so parking will never be problem - I can't go without commenting on the customer service and reminding you the sun hasn't risen yet, the "good morning what can I get you" came a few minutes after I watched a number of bagels being constructed on the narrow wooden counter located directly in front of the condiments bar but it was pleasant and genuine. It was a masterful display of chaotic bliss, so I turned and watched a fresh batch of bagels boil in the giant kettle behind the glass. Our visit to Bruegger's after church today was average. We had to wait for a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, but the gentleman who helped us was very friendly! The other employees didn't look our way at all. They almost acted like there weren't any customers in the shop. Two people were waiting behind us, and they didn't get helped until the gentleman who rang us up was finished. He went to help them and was again very nice. The service was absolutely horrendous. They messed up my order TWICE! I'm a vegetarian and I asked for no bacon on a sandwich and they put bacon on it so I took it back for them to fix and after one of the ladies rolled her eyes at me, the other lady tried fixing it but ended up giving me a sausage egg and cheese which is not even close to what I ordered! We went back on a third time and spoke to a manager who finally made the sandwich herself and gave me 2 hash browns for free. I have always loved Brueggers but today the service made me feel like an inconvenience to everyone working. Everything I asked for made the "shift supervisor" helping me look disgusted. No one working smiled the entire time I was in there. I asked for an everything bagel and was told in a very rude tone "I do not have any everything bagels." ok...wouldn't have been a problem had you not been so rude about it. My sandwich was closed up before i could even ask to put veggies or sauce on it- i asked this shift supervisor if i could add veggies and she looked as if i just asked her to commit a crime. Roast beef ripoff ... The staff here are very friendly and I've bought bagels for the office here a couple of times - everything is fresh and tasty. But, I went to grab a quick sandwich today and will not be going back for any reason in the future. I paid $5.49 for what they call a Deli Sandwich - since a single bagel costs 99 cents, you would expect a reasonable amount of meat for the additional $4.49 - instead, I got back to the office and found 2 small slices of roast beef and some shreds from someone else's slices composed about a 1/4 inch thick layer of meat. I immediately thought of the old slogan "Where's the beef?" but this was such a paltry portion, it really wasn't funny. Since most chains set portion sizes, someone at this shop made the decision that it's okay to shortchange their customers. Food is always consistent in a good way; service is extremely variable. Recent visit during mid morning was more of a disappointment with service. Of the 3 staff taking and preparing orders, only one would look up and greet customers. This particular hour did not outwardly appear busy with 2 additional customers in prior to me. A smile or acknowledgement would be appreciated when a customer is standing directly in front if you for several minutes. read more

So I was blown away when the shelves were pretty much empty and probably the most popular bagel "plain" was out. Couldn't even get a hot ham and cheese sandwich. I have lived in the area for awhile. I've recently been coming here more often because I love their bagels. However, every time I've come in the general manager, Richard, has been dismissive and not warm/welcoming. The last time I was there a women and him working seemed irritated with me taking the time to look at the menu. They continued to repeat multiple times whoever is ready to order come here, when I was the only person in line standing by the counter. I had the opportunity to go to one of my favorite chain bagel places this morning. While the food was fine, I was disappointed by the very poor customer service. There was an EXTREMELY rude employee ( I couldn't tell if this was a supervisor) who definitely needs coaching on how to appropriately interact with customers. She didn't look you in the eye when she spoke, barked questions like " size" (of beverage) in a ridiculously rude tone and also appeared to be loudly ( and harshly) ordering other employees around in a very loud (yelling) voice that was just plain unacceptable. Their bagels and coffee are as good as almost anyplace else; I have no criticisms of the food. The prices, however, are another story. Lured in by a coupon to try a sandwich, I ordered a salmon bagel sandwich. It tasted good -- but was little more than a bagel and cream cheese, plus a couple thin slices of salmon, and a garnish or two. I generally don't have a large appetite, but easily finished it. (I consider it more of a "glorified bagel & cream cheese" than a substantial sandwich.) The price was about $7. Had I paid the regular bagel price and ordered a small coffee, it would have cost over $9, before tax. I know prices of everything keep going up, but at $9+ for a (garnished) bagel and coffee, I won't be rushing back to Bruegger's. read more

The bagels are good but the cleanliness is very poor. The cutting boards have been sliced in them with black colored buildup and the boards are no longer white but a brown color. Also, the girl would cut the bagels then clean the knife off in a dirty cloth that was covered in crumbs, etc and didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while. read more

Stopped in this morning to grab a light brunch. Much to my chagrin, they were out of plain and blueberry bagels which I find somewhat absurd what with the general manager being there. But, in all honesty, his demeanor was rather unpleasant and borderline rude. Okay, so I got over the bagels not being ready, but unfortunately, my experience did not improve as all 3 of my orders were wrong. Now, 2 of the 3 bagels were replaced. The third one was not as I realized after 2 bites that I had not received jalapeno but plain cream cheese. Honestly, I am sure they would have replaced it but I was sort of done at that point. I think the problem was the young lady serving me was more invested in starting a sandwich for someone 3 people behind me who was obviously a regular. I dont mind treating a regular well, but you must remember the person in front if you could become a regular. This was probably the most disgusting restaurant experience I've ever had. As I walked up to the river Thiago I noticed an employee outside smoking a cigarette I assume she was off shift and I didn't worry about it I don't want to leave the shop no one was there. Five minutes later the woman smoking a cigarette outside payment. Still have things up. I was looking over the counter and see how the stuffing the shop was assuming she would clean up before she serve me my food. She never wiped off the surface before cutting my bagels or didn't even put down a piece of parchment paper in order to prepare my food. To put down some paper to avoid allergy. And she said that's not our policy our station is clean. I replied, by the looks of it there's peanut butter and all kind of cream cheese on your Fitbit will you please just put down for parts and hip are wiped it off. She rolled her eyes and wiped off the surface. I've been asked if I could have some avocado on my bagel, she said no we're out I clearly look down in there with avocado kid not wanting to take my money? Very rude worker overall. This woman's name was Dana he was the chief supervisor. I can get completely unprofessional the way she acted toward me. The shop was the traffic it should be taken down now read more
