I'm so sad. I like this place. However, I got a bagel and a chocolate cold brew and simply wasn't it. First, it started with the coffee- they need better straws and better lids. As I was driving to work, every sip I was taking was dripping out of my straw and out of the cup. I was annoyed but I was cleaning it up and just trying to stay positive. I was excited to try my bagel but it was started to go downhill from there. The bagel tasted so bad and it started to fall apart. First time here. Got two large cold brew, one black and one with vanilla flavor, as well as two bagels, one cream cheese and one egg sandwich. I have been coming here since high school, over 10yrs now.. yikes. I can't believe I've never written a review about this place! The bagels 10/10 so good, EVERY TIME! Their "ice cooler" which is the name of their home made iced coffee which is sweetened perfectly is so very good, this is one of the locations where they have it because I go to the CDM location often and I know they don't have it there! I am saddened to write that every time I used to come here the staff was known for how sweet and over-the-top friendly they were. Today was the complete opposite for me, the girl who took my order didn't even greet me and with the ugliest attitude asked me what I wanted and couldn't even get my order right! Then when I proceeded to order again, they didn't seem to care that I had to order again(and pay again) even though it was them who didn't get my order right. We came in early on a Sunday morning for breakfast. There was a line but the wait was not long. The employees were doing a great job moving everyone along, including online and delivery service orders. The bagels tasted fresh and the orange juice was good. Everyone was friendly and had a smile although it was the morning rush. The restaurant was clean and well stocked, except for a couple of tables where guests had just finished eating but failed to cleanup behind themselves. We had the Farmhouse and the Skinny Avocado bacon & tomato bagels. Both were very good. We also grabbed a giant chocolate chip cookie for later and it was also very good and soft. Nice and roomy inside with lots of great service people. They were hopping with big smiles on their faces! They had tons of bagel choices! This is one of three bagel spots that we go to. They have 2 "Sister" stores in Einstein Bagels and Noah's New York Bagels in that they share rewards with each store. I normally get the Zesty Egg White or Herby Turkey Sandwich. The kids like the different bagels like cheesy has brown or jalapeño cheese. And the Chive and olive cram cheese. I went here with my dad this past Sunday around 10:30am. It was crazy busy, but the staff was busying and getting through the line effectively. I like making a custom breakfast sandwich. Jalapeno Cheese bagel, sausage, bacon, ham, 2 eggs, onion, green peppers, and cheddar. And choice of cream cheese. The bacon scallion cream cheese is great but gets overpowering after a while. I prefer the garden veggie cream cheese. Or get the bacon scallion cream cheese but don't include bacon on your sandwich. Today I had a terrible experience and I in fairness to this establishment we have been coming here for years. To give this review some pre experience context I believe this place is a solid 4 star. Now with that said today's experience is a 1 star because I can not give a ZERO. The bagel server name is Angelica and only say this so if management reads my post they can better help and train her. She probably had an off day and we are all allowed to have an off day but if you plan to go to work and your job is to serve please do it with a smile. If you can not then do not go into work and take care of yourself. I ordered 3 bagels and a coffee. She did all 3 bagels, and the picture attached to this post is the worse of the 3. She had very little patience, when I asked for something she literally slapped in on the bagel and then smashed the bagel together. I understand $35 is not the end of the world but I never get to have breakfast with my family during the week because I work Monday-Friday from early morning to sunset.
