Today I ordered a veggie omelet with cheese and subbed the hash browns for tomato slices to be keep in line with a low carb diet. However I can't ever come have breakfast without pancakes but so happy they serve multigrain pancakes. So I got that instead of toast. And wow the pancakes are so delish. Highly recommend. We ordered the breakfast burrito (no meat), south of the border (no meat), the berry berry crepe, strawberry banana crepe with vanilla glaze, and pomegranate lemonade. Everything tasted so good!! I would have preferred the potatoes on the side rather than inside the burrito. Crepes were on the sweeter side but tasted good. South of the border was a quesadilla with similar flavors to the breakfast burrito. Pomegranate lemonade was regular lemonade with pomegranate syrup. It was sweet and refreshing. I have been here twice so far and every time I have been very pleased. Staff is great and food is even more great. It seems that it doesn't hold a lot of people, but we've come here with 8 people one time and another time with 6 people and it's been fine. We use No Wait App. It's great. First time I came here, I had the carrot cake pancakes. Wow! So good with a creamy surprise in the middle. The next time I came I just had the basic two eggs meal pancakes. Speaking of pancakes, they're pretty good too. I tasted from my husband's steak skillet and I told myself I'd get that next time. Emily was an amazing waitress. The hazelnut latte was delicious and I love the coffee brand they use. I got the chilaquiles and let me tell you, they were the best I have ever had and coming from a Southern California native, that is saying something! The carnitas were perfectly cooked, the salsa verde perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the steak Benedict which I was wary of because of the balsamic glaze, but the steak was seasoned perfectly. I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's so great. The menu has things that I've never seen around this area. We started out with homemade strawberry-orange juice. My son had the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancake Roll Up. It was covered with Strawberries and Blueberries and stuffed with cream cheese! My daughter had the "Bananarama" which was pancakes with a graham cracker crust, Bananas, Strawberries and a Creme Anglaise. That is the picture I will post on here. Me being a total meat and potato woman, got the meat and potato skillet. It was cooked perfectly. Eggs were great as well. The big favorite of our excursion was the Breakfast Burrito. The thing has got to be at least 2 pounds, and stuffed! My husband ate this, and while he literally nitpicks everything to death, he had no negatives of this place at all! The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is very expensive. For our family of 4, it cost nearly $50 after tip. But the food is worth each and every penny. Try it out. read more

The family and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here this morning. The South of the Border amazing quesadillas with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, green onion and avocado delivered big on taste. Absolutely delicious when paired with the sides of sour cream and salsa. I highly recommend this dish! The stuffed waffle satisfied my sweet tooth but proved a bit too sweet. The kiddos enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes and French toast sticks, although the portions were on the smaller side for the price point. Service was fast and efficient. I appreciated the no nonsense approach to an immediate cup of coffee upon being seated. Our waitress gave one warm up and offered another. The decor left a little something to be desired. I am always down to try and new breakfast place to find the best b's and g's or good skillet. This place goes way past the usual fair that you see at your basic diner. The menu is like a top hits mixed with a stoners wet dream of menu items. I have been here a couple of times now and I seriously would like to try all of the menu items because they all sound that good. Too bad the hours are just for brunch because I would go here late night Denny's style to get my breakfast for dinner fix. I have had a couple of the menu items so far including the veggie skillet which was good but not great, breakfast sliders that I would definitely order again, and the brunch chicken sandwich that was an interesting combo but worked nicely. Service was fast and friendly and everything was cooked perfectly the couple of times we have went here. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good alternative to the basic diner even though they do the classics just as good. I know ill be going back. read more

Thank you Yelpers for helping me find this place. I went here after reading reviews. We went in on a friday morning and there wasnt any wait. We were greeted by our server and she brought us coffee right away. I must share that one of the cups she gave us was dirty, had orange lipstick on it, yuck! No big deal though, she brought a clean one right away. So we looked over the menu and there were so many yummy things on it. I decided on the stuffed waffle. It was delicious! It was topped with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries. The inside had a pink filling with fresh strawberries and bananas, it was delectable. I was very happy with my meal. It was nice to see that they serve mimosas and bloodies too. I wasnt in the mood for a drink but I will for sure go back and have brunch along with a bloody soon. I'm surprise I haven't written review for this place. I go there often because it is super close to my home and they are very accommodating about being environmentally friendly. While I didn't like the salmon benedict (super salty), I do like the California crepe. Used to be a favorite until I got tired of it. Switched to salmon benedict. It was a-okay but then the last time I ordered it to-go, not the best. Won't order this again. I do like their lunch sandwiches. Variety, all seems to look good. My family like going there. I wish there was a way to keep up with the reward point system. They won't remind you if you leave and forgot to use your reward membership. :( The outdoor tent in the summer is extra nice. read more

I went to high school in this area and Brunch has been a wonderful addition. It's ALWAYS packed, but with good reason. The food is always good (never had anything bad) and the service is usually reliable. Husband says the biscuits and gravy is excellent; he usually varies between that and the blueberry pancakes. I prefer the Nacho Scrambler or an omelette (both dishes are GIGANTIC). They each come with breakfast potatoes (best I've ever had) and toast or pancakes (pick the pancakes!). Tony and I are lucky because this restaurant is just a few minutes from us, but even if you're just passing by on Lake Street, stop by. It might take you a while (wait times regularly top 2 hours-this can be avoided by reserving your place in line on Yelp; so handy). Enjoy! read more

Not impressed. I've been here before- had a good breakfast. Today not great at all! Had a veggie skillet- asked to remove spinach and add extra mushrooms. Found maybe 5 mushrooms total! Food was very salty. Added French toast vs regular toast. It was cold, dry and had no flavor. Service was adequate but she never bothered to ask how my meal was. Two people at the front counter were too busy talking when I left to ask about my meal. The first booth I was seated at was very cold & drafty. Order from there at least once a week if not we dine in. Stuffed potato pancake is always excellent I'll probably because we always order it. The only thing we switch up are the suites. All of their crêpes, pancakes, and waffles are super. One of my favorites the churro waffle. We also enjoy the apple bread French toast or stuffed crapes. One thing I will suggest is to get either strawberry or vanilla brunch cream on the side. I'm not sure exactly what's in it but it's creamy and delicious and it is a definite compliment to any of their sweet breakfast dishes. And the food is always consistent service courteous fast and friendly. Takeout orders are ready in 10 minutes. Love this place. read more
